It's really frustrating to see how many years have passed since I first watched FLCL and always had the urge to talk about it, because honestly, no anime, or any other piece of media have affected me in this manners, simply put, I never was the same person I used to be after watching it and I'm feeling this deeply inside even after years.

It's puberty, the plot and the core of everything about FLCL is focused on the process of growing up and following the path of adulthood, using it's visual effects, it helps the viewer to blossom using their own feet, this process, as ... consciousness interprets, is painful, no one gets to step inside the realm of adulthood till they face their own shadow, now these are the very bare minimum of what FLCL aims, I think it tries to show a collection of pieces about what or how the journey looks like, and surprisingly, it does it in a very few episodes, leaving you craving for more, not wanting to grow up but also deep inside you feel that it's inevitable.

I'm not really going to talk about the details of this anime, I don't care about it's quantity, because it successfully sacrifices quantity for better quality, and you can just sense it in animations and figures and movements.

Even after years to come and even when I have children of my own.

"No matter how vast the darkness, we must supply our own light"

Eizouken, is a great reminder before anything else, that this world needs the light that comes from the individuality, and harmony and coexistence.

From the very first glance at this anime, i have felt that something is different about this anime, the usage of timing, anatomy and the story telling, it's unlike anything else, it's the most sincere yet cruelest try to keep the light in the world lit.

Our three main character match up to make a motion picture or anything really, they go through history and discover the history is alive even now.

The animation ... is probably one of the finest to the detail-catching eyes, that's why it can drive away the viewer without the patience. the story matches perfectly to the anime's message the way no words can describe.

More than anything else, this anime is hope, that needs to be protected.
And as the anime's ending indicates, this can only be achieved by learning to live truthfully with our shadows in mind.

No one really wanna go into the details here, as the master of the cinema Stanley Kubrick put it: "A good work always lefts nothing to say"

This is exactly the case about Eizouken, it should be lived, it can not be described.

Lucky star is a great example of flowing parody, it aims for daily life, and among the very basic topics, if finds it's purpose, which is catching a meaning in a sea of conversation which putting them together might not have any meaning. it's really hard to point out the successing factor but it's like an echo, a sudden occasion in a mindfulness process. Put this factors among the best Moe material out there (probably) and you have a show that never disappoint in creating, making you laugh. And blending strangest mindsets together. Art style however, helps this process to have it's impact on a ... more broader way, this is what anime should be and this is what I call good comedy.

To be honest, this show is terrible, and i have some good reasons why.
First of all, if someone is going to represent something, for instance, writing something, what are the achievements for that person? just expressing? making money? or just getting something done?
See, none of the above seems to be the reason for the crew of Poputepipikku. it a loose set of thoughts coming together (or have they?!) to make a sort of entertainment? if there's more to this, let me hear it but i doubt it will be? is it just criticizing the pop culture? is this the point to all of this? okay, ... but how are you targeting the audience? you are being just too confronting, some stuff are better to not being said. or done.

Starting off watching Genshiken, i thought i was just dealing with a mediocre series about otaku life, but let's clear out some outlines of reasons why this show is actually good.
First of all, the anime doesn't get the urge to "move" the audience, it's simply a slow driving story which nothing much happens in the process, it's the comedy and the approach to talking and looking into the details that makes this series a truly good one. pointing out the details in a conversation and extract a gap to hit the nerve and make the audience actually laugh. the reason why the comedy here is ... so good is a simple reason, you are not expected to be laughed at the matter and it's the shock that makes you laugh your lungs out! the main subject is so out of ordinary that you can't help but wondering how they could write the material for this show, but they have and they actually did a great job.
The characters might seem a bit dull in first episodes, but starting to get along, we get used to that fact and it's sadness, yet extremely funny side of being an otaku!
A enjoyable series, with of course dark comedy involved, but non the less, a great show overall.

Monogatari series, and it's most important method, which is taking it's time to open up, no matter the subject matter, is one of the most formal and affecting kinds of stories I have ever read and experienced, it's almost like a floating boat, while facing the storm, you still can do so little and things can still come out well, looking around a subject from a hundred perspectives makes that subject a brief quality of moment, which every interests involved can be met, this is why I love monogatari series, it does it's job in the best way possible, yet it keep everything simple.
The characters ... in this season were portraited in more details, which is yet another reason to choose this season as the best one so far. I loved Kaeki. We didn't had the chance to get to know the man but we did in this season, despite the fact that what happened by the end of the season.
Again, this series has been around for me for quite a while and I'm glad to continue and experience this uniqueness even more.

Writing about Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! is not an easy task. therefore i will try my best and also please be aware that this review might include some disturbing content.
Eighth grade syndrome, as this series calls it, has different names and situations for everyone, but happens nonetheless for almost anyone, years of enlightening, facing difficulties and try to find an identity.
As a boy, i was also through this, probably in an intense case, and it was fascinating how some images captured by this anime was also happened to me and in some cases it even had some subconscious effects that made me realize the ... atmosphere of things, sounds, smells that made me remember those times, looking back to those times and how i'm totally a different person now, doesn't change the fact that those were precious times that made me this person today and makes me realize how much of a strong person i am for dealing with this and facing reality as it was. it's a great time to be alive and breathing.
The message on the anime was sure deep as well, for example, Kumin stopping Yuuta when he was heading to bring Rikka back, or the unseen horizon, which is where we smile or cry when we face reality.
huh. i'm smiling. for simply being alive.
This is truly an amazing anime, and btw my favorite character is Dekomori!!

Tonari no Seki-kun, a show which dares to be open as an absurdist, one which i wouldn't even guessed could find it's way to the anime world, it does it's job so smoothly in the story telling and the fact that "you don't even need a story line to execute enjoyment and productivity and creativity" that you ask yourself, how? how it can be so funny and creative at the same time with the pilot around Seki-kun and Yokoi spending 90% of all the anime in a classroom staring at Seki-kun's desk. but when you see all of this come up together, with an actual ... good art and music and sounds, it simply interprets itself as probably one of the best comedy experiences in anyone interested in story telling matter.
So yeah, I'll truly miss this unique experience while keep living in world which seems like it doesn't really get the difference between comedy and good comedy anymore

Watching Kids on the slop can have a variety of reactions depending on what kind of person with what taste of music is watching it. with main subject matter of jazz, this anime has not much things to offer in it's own subject, unless of course, for those who are totally stranger to jazz. i must say i'm disappointed in many things such as the lack of variations in music, and basically kaoru and sen are most of time, doing art blakey session. and alongside of not really interesting story telling which i think it's representing the fact that everyone who listens to jazz is ... most likely an emotional person. which is of course, wrong.
I might sound too critic about this but, i can totally relate to people who love this anime, i would give this anime a perfect score if i was living 4-5 years ago. but right now, i think it's honest to say these. and to admit that i'm not an emotion-based person anymore.
Yeah no wonder why this review got so personal, since jazz is personal too. and i recommend everyone out there to give this show and jazz a chance. this music is as life giving as it is exciting and comforting at the same time.

To what degrees a type of media have the ability to reach the subconscious of it's audience? i kept asking this question while reading Oyasumi punpun because honestly there's been a few other resources in media that had the ability to give the essence of the story in my life like this one. and while wondering about the same question, i saw a documentary of Asano-San working in his office and his perception while making his work, some say creativity is enough but, i think creativity has to come up with experience in order to be fruitful, he used everything within and without to put ... the essence of what he is feeling into shapes and story. and this is in my mind why this manga is such a great concept as it is an story as well.
Another words around the quality of Oyasumi Punpun is definitely it's way of narration, sometimes even between a chapter the story shifts between characters or even story line which makes you wonder if you even reading the same manga or is it someone else's mistake that printed the manga wrongly! but then after a few pages or chapters you find that weird spot to be perfectly fitting the story. i was simply a traveler in Asano's ship and he was carrying me anywhere he wanted and yes, it was one of the best rides of my life.
