My Hero Academia: Vigilantes was not something I was excited for or planned to watch, I assumed it would be a cash grab that used a big name to promote itself but I was seriously wrong.
I'm not the biggest shonen fan, the entire genre is copy paste slop with generic themes even for famous titles as well and that is also true about My Hero Academia but what stood out for Vigilantes was that it took everything good from MHA and left out all the bad stuff.
It was such a refreshing experience to watch this anime, with a cast of new and unique characters that
...
don't have boring or repetitive personalities, varying age ranges and actual dialogue between characters that feel real gave the whole anime a nice feeling. On top of that the plot was actually well done, instead of always having high stakes or lives on the line like MHA , Vigilantes showed the world of MHA in a different light with simple and less dangerous villains but adding to the world building in a way that we didn't see in the original series.
Honestly speaking Vigilantes was a new and enjoyable watch for the shonen genre, it feels unique and different and the author actually put effort into making this it's own seperate series rather than forcefully connecting it to the main one. Writing wise this might not be the greatest but speaking in terms of the shonen genre it is an absolute banger and an amazing watch.

A mad scientist, a red haired genius, a couple of idiots and a traumatizing experience is the dumbest combination of things I've seen yet done so perfectly in this anime.
Steins Gate was one of the animes I never wanted to watch, it's old, felt basic and in general I coulnd't see anything good about it but I still decided to watch it. The first few episodes were funny and entertaining but then when the plot hits, it hits like a truck.
The story of Steins Gate is perfect, I can't find any flaws with it, everything flows so well, each character plays out perfectly without any
...
plot holes or plot armour, the emotions and plot twists make you feel like you're on a roller coaster. Everything about this series was just done so well, I really have to give it to the author, they know how to make a masterpiece.
Honestly I can't find anything bad about this series, usually when writing reviews I have something to say but Steins Gate is just amazing. The protagonist, the deurotagonist, side cast, antagonists, story, entertainment, comedy, emotions, peaks, hype, quite literally everything is so perfect to the point that I can't explain it. 10/10

Since this is the second season, my review will be about the whole anime.
Code Geass was definitely an anime that I did not expect to be this good, mechas in general make the story bad with their stupid logic and bad fights but this blew my mind.
The best things about Code Geass was definitely the characters, almost the entire cast was good, even if you hated some you can't deny that they were all well written. Another amazing thing is the story, it isn't complicated or has insane depth but felt really good to mwatch as it played out and there were so many amazing
...
moments like Lelouch's monologues, his fight against his family, the conclusion, C.C and her relationship with Lelouch etc.
While it definitely has many good things, a lot of which I didn't list, it isn't perfect and has many negatives as well. Firstly, the fights are bad I have to say that, the mechas eventually just got to a point where it became who has the best specs, the pilot didn't even matter anymore because these mechas were basically walking nukes compared to the base models. Another thing is the whole arc around Charles, Lelouch's father, his entire story was so forced, everything was just thrown at us with no hints of foreshadowing and they just forced us to accept it then immediately went past it like nothing happened even though it should've had a lot more screen time and impact. Finally, the geass, in the first season this power was interesting but eventually it just became like a kids toy, everyone has one and now they're super specific to the point the author would add it to make the story make sense even though they're supposed to be random powers, dumbest plot armour of all time.
In conclusion, season 1 was absolutely phenomenal and a 10/10 but season 2 just couldn't live up to it, while it had it's own good stuff and the conclusion was amazing, it's a 9/10.

If you told me from a year ago I would watch One Piece, I would genuinely laugh but here I am fully caught up on the anime and manga and being one of the biggest fans.
I can't put into words how much my love for one piece is, it was a journey for me, a long one but one I don't regret at all. Coming home and watching it, seeing the characters go through arcs and difficulties was just amazing and I felt so invested in it.
Some of my favourite things about this anime are of course the cast of characters, main ones and
...
side, each being so perfect that there's not a single arc's characters I disliked, the world is so detailed and planned out perfectly, the antagonists which are all so good in their own unique ways, the story arcs and how each are actually significant and don't get thrown away as the plot progresses, the entertainment and comedy, the fights and emotions, I could go on for hours.
I can understand why people get turned off from the length, I do agree that the pacing is bad but mindlessly hating or watching it not to enjoy but to force yourself will never make you like One Piece. I'd say start it if you genuinely want to, if you actually watch One Piece with no bias, no matter what age you are you'll love it. It may seem like a kiddy show but I've been watching it for years and haven't gotten sick of it at all. The easiest 10/10 I've ever given.

A pretty good first season for one of the best and my favourite romance anime. Most people may see this as bland, slow or boring but this mainly focuses on the characters and their relationships over fan service, pretty female characters and weak, horrible relationships making characters seem forced.
Some of the best things about this anime is that every character actually feels like a real persom. The thing I hate most about romance is that the characters never feel alive, all of them are basic, forced personalities or just don't act their age at all like why are you a gang member in high school.
...
However Oregairu does this very well, each character I could literally find people like them in real life, their motivations, actions, dialogue everything about them feels so good.
Another amazing thing is the story flows very well, it feels a lot like Hyouka in the fact there aren't random events and instead plays out like it's Hachiman's real life which I found very interesting and entertaining.
Finally the best part are Hachiman's monologues, they are all so good, each are not just some depressed loner spouting useless crap but an actual person who's thought deeply about life and how he wants to live. I relate to his quotes so well and they are all phenomenal.
Overall, Oregairu's 1st season was pretty good, if you disliked it I strongly recommend to watch the 2nd one at least just to see but I feel like most people dislike this anime simply because it's a romance focused on romance and characters not on showing high school girls bodies every 2 seconds or cheesy rom-coms to make you feel happy.

By far the best season of Fruit Baskets and was good but deserving of an 8.9+ rating is a joke. Before I get hate for this I want to say this anime is not bad but is not amazing either and all the expectations you might have, this won't live up to it.
This season really focused a lot on the characters and bonds with their loved ones and was very good compared to the others however many things are so forced into the characters nature, personality and making a lot of them to not act their age or act insanely edgy which gets justified by
...
"ThE SoMa FAmiLy GaVE AlOT Of Trauma" just stfu. The thing that pisses me off the most is that everyone just is insanely selfish except Tohru because she has to be the heroine to save everyone for the happy ending yay except no because the author just throws logic out the window and while most people ignore this looking at this season objectively you notice many flaws.
I could go on and on about how many mistakes, inconsistencies and problems there are in the writing of the characters, their actions and ideologies but I really don't care enough about this anime to waste my time.
The point I'm trying to make is Fruit Baskets is good but that's it, it isn't some amazing anime with great development, plot twists and characters at best it's mediocre at most things. At least it's good in the romance genre but it's not even close to the peak of romance. Watch it if you want and you might find it fun but writing wise it's a disaster.

I just finished watching this and needed to write a review to vent out my frustrations, this might be the most unsatisfying anime I've ever seen and I'll explain why. At the beginning I saw the potential of this show, a broken family that Tohru the perfect girl wants to help and fix right seems good. Only until it becomes insanely stale, repetitive and generic
Firstly, literally every character is so forced by the author to be quirky and broken and for some reason only Tohru can help everyone, the perfect girl that everyone loves right there to always help because for some reason everyone else
...
is a bully or lack empathy. Already pretty dumb but the more you watch the more annoying it gets, the anime tries to ignore this by giving her fake difficulties and while her backstory was good her current character is just trash. Some of the side cast are actually decent but that's it, they're not good at all and feel like a child wrote their characters.
The only thing good I can think of is that if you're looking for a slice of life and kinda comedy anime this is it, but that doesn't mean it's good, in my opinion it's such a waste of time and 25 episodes were way too much for this.
In conclusion, don't watch this unless you have spare time or nothing else to do.

One of my favourite fantasy, magic academy animes. Wistoria Wand and Sword is a perfect blend of shonen, comedy and fantasy.
Some of the best things about it are the amazing animation that isn't over the top but makes everything look extremely clean and fresh. The characters are all good and actually feels like they're the age they are canonically which many animes don't do for some reason, the development isn't the best however is still very solid, overall they are good in every category. Another amazing thing is pacing, for a 12 episode anime usually pacing is either slow or extremely fast but this
...
felt very well rounded with nothing feeling rushed or forced. Finally each arc is actually solid, even thought the anime is only 12 episodes and has like 3 full arcs, I think they were all well done.
Some cons I will have to give are that this is an anime that is specific to the viewer, many people have complains about this anime because it doesn't fit their taste which makes sense because Wistoria while having a generic plot at first is actually quite different from most fantasy school animes and that probably is what most people don't like. Also that the characters are actually teenagers and act like them in their actions and words, which is something I think is very well done and should be done more but I've seen many complaints about this which in my opinion don't make any sense.
In general this is an extremely enjoyable, decently written and great anime that I suggest if you're looking for something quick and good.

I needed to write a review after seeing that Solo Leveling is somehow rated above an 8. This might be one of the most bland, worst written and basic animes of all time. Before I continue basic ≠ bad but in this situation it really does and I'll break it down.
First the main character, Sung Jin Woo was actually decent in season 1 but in season 2 he just becomes unbearable, constatnly acting emotionless, edgy and aura farming and it's not even a joke. He has no development, themes or anything, I thought he might've been like a pillar of hope type character but clearly
...
the author just wants a bland self insert protagonist to get fame.
Second the side cast, obviously Solo Leveling is a solo show revolving around SJW but that doesn't mean the side cast needs to be non-existent, there are many cases of animanga with side casts that are few and have not much screen time but are still amazing.
Finally the story, this I actually won't complain about because it's supposed to be action based and actually has some decent bits to it.
Overall, a show that had alot of potential but is extremely overrated, if you want to see flashy fights and animation just say that no need to overrate this show.

The Persona 3 games are absolutely phenomenal and through the first 3 movies I really couldn't compare it to the masterpiece which are the games however this last movie proved me wrong. It took it's time slowly on each character to show their own mentality, ideologies and development in such a good way that really reflects on the real world and the meaning of life compared to the despair of death.
Firstly, Makoto Yuuki was such a beautiful character with one of my favourite conclusions with such a bittersweet ending. His development throughout all 3 movies were amazing but this really stood out, everything about him
...
from his dynamics, themes, development, ideology, reasons just everything was so insanely good.
The side cast is also an amazing part of the films and especially in this one. As I said previously each character got alot of their own screentime and it really helped their unique and distinctive personalities stand out which helped their writing so much.
Even the antagonist was such a good character, he was simple but still very well done in his concept of death and meaning to life and especially his parallel and dynamics to Makoto.
Overall I highly recommend this movie, if you're a Persona player definitely watch this and even if you never have heard of it you would likely still enjoy it.
