This will be a short review, and will contain no spoilers.
To start, what is there to like about this anime?
The visuals are wonderful, from the very beginning you get to feel the unique and compelling aesthetics the producers are aiming for. The story strikes you as very grounded in reality, the characters for the most part seem like real people. You really get invested in the story, and as this is basically a love-triangle story-line you soon start forming your own ships. For better or worse.
What is their to dislike?

First off it has to be said, for a shounen series this is a departure from the norm and I say that as a compliment. Once I began reading the manga it struck me as a new story and with the amount of borrowing that happens in the industry I was certainly intrigued.
Story 6/10 The premise behind the show deserves a 10/10 in my opinion (everyone turns to stone and wakes up 3700 years later is new and fresh). I would have loved to give the story a higher rating but I believe the writer faltered and wrote himself into a corner multiple times in ...

This anime simply put is GROUNDBREAKING and ORIGINAL.
I was so surprised to see an anime with the main, as old as he is. I instantly knew this anime would cross boundaries never crossed before. The art fits in perfectly as it is more realistic, and matches the tone of anime. The characters are maybe the best part of this show. Our MC Inuyashiki is simply relatable regardless of your age. You really feel as though you are in his shoes and can sympathize with him. The antagonist Shishigami is one evil bastard and yet kind hearted person at the same time. Throughout the show you ...

SIMPLY BURSTING WITH EXCITEMENT
I truly enjoyed the first and second seasons of the anime, and this was no different. The story/plot this season was much better compared with the previous seasons, I had started to worry this anime would slip into a repetitive nature with Soma just battling stronger opponents every few episodes. I won't spoil anything in this review but the show managed to add greater stakes and for that they truly deserve credit for. The big reveal in the final episode was quite satisfying to. This season was quite wonderful in how entertaining it was. I don't tend to fall prey to cliffhangers easily ...

I'd like to start by mentioning how I've grown to be bored with Fairy Tail. I feel like the stories haven't been as good since its original season. I was reluctant at first but then I eventually succumbed to the 'What if its good' temptation, and it turned out it was.
