-Action, adventure and comedy packed anime with great plots -Similarities between characters and their relationships (i.e. Spike/Mugen, Faye/Fuu) -Badass characters -Phenomenal fighting scenes and martial arts -Both anime have different but unique settings and timelines (futuristic but retro space western style for one and alternate japanese edo style for another) -Music and OST have a big influence in both anime and are what make them stand out (jazz and blues for cowboy bebop and J hip-hop for samurai champloo) -Both anime share the same director, Shinichirou Watanabe -As much as cowboy bebop is known to be a classic and a must watch anime, I'd say so is samurai champloo despite being on the underrated side (so I highly recommend watching it!!)
