Hi. I'm Schlappy and I'm just a fellow anime fan who loves to give opinions on any anime good or bad. I love to have a discussion and also would love recommendations for any show that isn't on my list yet.
Thanks for stopping by my profile :)
Hi, I read your review for Weathering With You and I absolutely agree with everything you said. If you're interested in watching more Makoto Shinkai films and want something short, I highly highly recommend watching one of his first shorts, Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe). If you're a big fan of Your Name and Weathering With You, I think you'll really enjoy it.
Thank you Schlappy, I liked both anime both are amazing at there story. Both are trying to save there lovely people. I am sure you will love it like a hell. ALso if you like Re:Zero I recommend Steins:Gste
I would never forget Made in Abyss! The movie in january is the thing i expect the most, that show is so cool and deserves a lot! In the beginning it may seem like that, won't spoli but then as the show goes on the dynamics Hinata-Kageyama evolve and it's not like th hard competition Deku-Bakugo. Glad you decided to continue with it, the story has really a lot of heart and is worth the watch :D
Hi! I saw you said you would love recommendations, right? Well, i would recommend you Haikyuu. It's a sport anime, but you don't really have to like sport to enjoy it. It's great in so many ways, it may have a slow-start in which the characters are introduced and characterized but then, when the true matches begin (in episode 11 or something) it gets dope. One thing i like is that the the antagonist teams aren't the "bad guys" used as pawns for the protagonists to win, they are human and are given a motivation, a role, a strenght they build upon and grow as people because of. Sometimes i really questioned myself "who i really want to win?" ahaha. No one is left behind, every character is important, not just the protagonists.
Plus, thanks to the beautiful animation, incredible directing and the somehow ideological fight behind every match, it managed to make a volleyball match feeling actually epic and exciting and feel interested about it, even though i've always highly disliked sports in real life.
And last, the comedy is hilarious (specially S2). It managed to make me laugh on the outside (and not just on the inside) even when there were people around me xD
If you decide to check it out and give it at least 5 episodes, i think you won't regret it :D
Oh! Well thanks! I was was worried I rambled a bit in that review, but it seems it was alright :) Have fun with the games, my friends tell me they're really good :)
Oh my god I'm really excited to finish Made in Abyss now ! I'm started ep 5 since I finally finished college classes today (because you know, being In the US I need to have some college debt). PLEASE WATCH CLANNAD AFTER STORY. You don't need to watch the first (I didn't watch Clannad) to understand since it falls in to two different periods of the character's lives.
And I don't mind you asking! I have 16 tattoos right now. I have two thigh pieces of Espeon and Umbreon that cover the entire front of my thighs, a black and white mario on my right ankle, script on both sides of my ribs, my parents handwriting on both shoulder blades, an antique chest on my right bicep, a black key behind my ear, a small Purple Heart and a star map and a tea cup on my right wrist, "My self esteem that said I'd betrayed myself is now my own pride" is on my left inner forearm and "I wish I could love myself" is crossed out above "Yes, I do love myself" on my inner right forearm. annndd I have two giant watercolor pieces that cover a lot of my left forearm thats a lot of geometry that work around two giant scars I have from breaking my arm during martial arts.
phew! I know thats a lot ^^ maybe I'll post pictures on my profile of some of them soon
I will definitely let you know! It's okay, I cried during Clannad, BNHA, bleach, one piece, promised Neverland.... I just love a good scene and emotions
I may end up buying the hard copies myself .I am trying to refrain since college doesn't pay for itself and neither does martial arts and tattoos :'D. I'd love to buy my volumes other than barnes and noble since each volume is $11-15 ;A;
I tend to go hard when it comes to binging ;u;..... I just finished ep 4 of abyss and so far it has good dialogue, sound, art, and story. It does seem to be slightly slow in the pacing, but I've been told it picks up from about 0-100 very soon. Obviously I never judge an anime on the first couple episodes, and even if I had to judge it based on these few, I'd still give it at least a 7. I'm excited to see things pick up ~
Ooooooo! that just sealed my deal to watch mob psycho. I don't know if any anime can top One Punch for me, but if anyone says that Mob psycho can rival one punch, then it is top priority to check it out! I'm even more pumped to also watch Kimi no Nawa this week! I have exams so I definitely need something to adore and probably cry about. Thank you so much for telling me about them!
oh! Also, is mob psycho any good? and the shield hero is one of my favorites right now :D I am trying to not get completely caught up because I can barely stand waiting an entire week. And now I'm rambling on your page :'D. Also, how is Kimi no na wa? I'm planning to watch that soon and I haven't heard of darling in the franXX so I'll have to look into it !
I am just so excited One Punch second season released today and am overjoyed to bring back my Tatsumaki cosplay
Ooooo~ does it go into more detail? I was really sad that it ended right after the narrow escape. I want to know how they survive? Where do they go? Do more kids make it out?
AHHH!! Thank you so much!! I binged attack on titan as well! My record is 157 ep of bleach in 5 days :'D. I had broken my arm and just absolutely went ham on the anime.
IM WATCHING ABYSS AS WE SPEAK. Just finished ep 4 and I'm so excited for things to just go haywire >:D and feel free to ramble all you like! I love a good conversation.
I will definitely look up you discord ! thank you so much again!
