I'll personally never understand the low score for this one. Let me be clear, this show is by no means perfect, but I'll be damned if it doesn't do a fantastic job at achieving what its main goal is. Just being a relaxing look into the chill side of isekais.

This is my first review, I wouldn't have done so without a good reason and lo and behold here it is. The low scores given to this anime are so unfounded it doesn't make sense to me. This show was never meant to be an action packed isekai with bloody and gruesome fights to the death. ... It's about a protagonist who simply wants to experience a brand new world and live life to the fullest. An opportunist who's taking a rare chance at forging new relationships and acting (somewhat) realistically when placed into such a scenario.

I find it so satisfying watching the protag slowing gain more and more knowledge of the world around him. It's so wholesome and refreshing seeing a character genuinly want to make friends with everyone around them and try to understand them instead of your run of the mill, "I see bad guy, immedietely I hate this person with my entire being."

Anyways to sum it up, personally I loved it. The soundtrack was great and really fit the whole anime's mood, I also really liked the opening track. The characters are all unqiue and likable in their own way. I love the direction of the story and seeing the unique career route the protagonist chose. It's just a great time.

I hope to see more anime similar to this and Ascendance Of A Bookworm due to the more realistic vibes they give off. Please don't go into this show looking for action, but rather a fun/chill story.
