If you haven’t watched this anime yet, don’t start it at all. Its rating fits an anime from seven years ago, when there weren’t many good options. Now there are much better choices. The story is extremely slow so much, so that the main story doesn’t even appear until around episode 70. The production quality of the first season is also very low.
The character development is extremely slow and filled with unnecessary dialogue. The storyline has lots of extra, irrelevant scenes so much, even the start of a simple fight in the entrance exam includes ten minutes of talking!

After I finished the danghua, i was surprised why the rank is so high? Since i like such this genre, the story topic was so intersting and the writer had so many options for the storyline. It has lots of extra dialogs and scenes but weak characterization! The last generation of exorcism doesn't know anything, even a simple history and he looks like a fool boy which even doesn't know how to use his power! So what did you do all these years! Comparing to similar danghua and story like legend of exorcism or TGCF, it has nothing to say.
