and get back together again and get married
(PS the girl's best friend marries the boy's best friend)
Oh my shit, isn't this the most unpredictable and totally original plot that we totally haven't ever seen or read about. UGH I am so tired I can't even be properly sarcastic. Anyway AMAZING plot, its like every cliché manga in Japan formed into one. Read this and you'll never have waste your time reading another shojou.

Art 6
All the boys look the same. All of them by some coincidence are hot. All of the girls are cutesy cuddly adorably little angels. Most people go awww while I go ew. it kinda reminds me of twilight, cause both the author try to make the characters as beautiful as they can be.
Okay I'll cut the crap, the art was good, but hating the manga made me hate the art.

Character 1
You think you have seen clueless idiotic girls in your time but you've seen nothing till you read this.
The guy, whatever his name is, is like a computer. He can only do the programs functioned to him goes like this-
a) eat
b) sleep
c) breathe
the computer might be new and cool , but its boring no matter how hot it may seem.

This manga is so lame. L-A-M-E. I hated every momment of it, reading every page felt like taking a step closer to hell. I am not even joking -_- .....

Plot (1) So here's the plot -

There is no other plot beyond that. I dare anyone, ANYONE to prove this fact wrong. Please... please don't waste your time reading this piece of crap crap crappy crap.

Art (3) The proportions are all wrong, the backgrounds are silly, and the shadings are messy. Even the dogs in this manga are not properly drawn.

Characters (-1) Thats right I gave the characters minus one, whachya gonna do about it?

a)the girl (forgot her name) has no backbone. A guy pats her head and she decides its love. I have loads guy-friends who also do that, but do i go *blush blush* ?
b)So the guy invites her to his house so that she could see his dogs, big deal. But no the girl obviously mistook that for him liking her. *rolls eyes.
c) I am getting so sick of happy-go-cheery characters. The females of Japan are really weak (most of the time) in my opinion
d) He kisses her after knowing her for a total 20 minutes...her fisrt kiss...and the girl doesn't even mind, if I were her I would kick him in the nuts. Hard.

a) the guy is so pathetic and an idiot, and has seriously bad taste. I mean he has a hundred girls chasing after him, but no he dates the main girl because she like his pet dogs....well i couldn't find any other reason.
b) what kind of guy kisses someone after knowing them for 20 mins? And he didn't even know her name of 10 of those 20mins.
c)I have seen a lot of characterless guys in my time, but I am sad to say he makes the list of the top 5 guys I hate most.

I can't help wonder why I can only write negative reviews, and K-ON is one of them ofc. And I'll begin ranting about it step by step :

Story-2-

First of all I can't even begin to understand why people even like K-ON, its just so freakin' dull, it revolves around nothing. Every ep is completely pointless and boring. And I know slice of life is pointless most of the time, but this one was just empty all the way. As a matter of fact the plot ends in the first ep. I'll use an example to express my views more clearly : Lucky Star, another pointless ... anime, but it was so totally funny it kept me hooked on till the last ep, and even as it ended I wanted more eps for it. But K-ON had nothing special about it, I practically died of boredom. Whenever I watched it my mind was totally blank as if I was asleep. And let me tell you it was hard keeping awake. Reading the Synopsis or Description on K-ON's page gives you the entire summary of the 13 eps.

Art-1-

K-ON is the artwork of an elementary kid trying to pass off as a mangaka. I know its suppose to be moe, but still. No shading. No detail. No skill. K-ON is made of only one colour shade and the drawings of the characters imply that they had no bones in their body. As crappy as my art style is, I have to admitt I can draw better than this. If I can I would have given it a zero, but there are two reasons that I didn't, 1st is the fact that its not possible to give it a zero, 2nd is that the intruments the characters are well drawn and is as realistic as they can be in an anime. Another problem that I have concerning the art is that it has no style or originality of its own. Lucky Star art also stinks but atleast its original and creative.

Sound-2-

Why 2 ? Lets start with the songs of the light music club. At first they seem to be catchy and fun, but after a while you realize that they all have they same pattern and genre. In short if you listened to one of their songs is listening to all of them. As for the voices of the characters I have no comments on it.

Characters-2-

All of the characters and all their personalities in one word: moe. Thats it there is nothing else in to their personalities beyond that. When they get angry they get moe angry, when they get sad they get moe sad, when they get happy they get moe happy. Everything thing about them is moe, can this anime get anymore pathetic? Again I'll use lucky star as a reference. In LS the characters have their own peronas. Kona- otaku, Kaga- bossy, Tsuka- airhead, Miyu- classy. In K-On Yui- moe, Mio- moe, Ritsu- moe, Mugi- moe.

Enjoyment- 1-

Like I mentioned before i fell asleep throughout the anime. So yea, it was pretty hard to enjoy it. I will never watch this anime again, even if someone pays me to do it.

Overall-2-

The actual overall is 1 but I decided to pity this anime and give it a 2 instead.

I really loved this manga, i really really did. But then the story began to go way retarded, and bland, boring, stupid, and most important keyword of all: pointless.

Plot 6 - I thought this would be an interesting story at first, the kind where the main character slowy realises her feelings, but no the author had to go all the way to make a totally useless and predictable twist here and there and tried to spice up the story a bit but instead she screwed it up. Now the entire plot is running in circles over and over and over and over and ... over and over again. the same scenes, the same drama, the same plot. there is no actuall mysteries or guess work in the story no matter how much the mangaka tries the plot remains predictable. I almost feel story for her and her idiotic ideas. There is only one question throughout the entire series "who will yukina choose akira or shigure?" I already know the answer and I bet 99.9% of the fans do to. The plot used to be interesting, but not anymore. The entire plot has now officially turned into a circle with no meaningful progress what so ever.

Art 6 - I should have given it higher points I know, but the more the chapters increase the lamer the art gets, usually people improve their art style but this one just got crappier.

Characters 2- I can hear people complaining about my score from a mile away. But let me explain how bland each character gets as the story progresses :

Yukina- She used to be so cool and cunning not letting anyone get the better of her or take advantage of her. But in the later chaps, every single bloody person gets the better of her, shigure can bully her easily now (and he does abuse her don't deny it), akira can force himself on her, mami can insult her in any way she likes. And the cold-hearted awesome character yukina used to be turns out to be a crybaby. Geez, change of character much?
On top of that she can't get her decisions straight, at one time she's like no akira can't be my loved one, the next minute she's like I don't have a bond with shigure I like akira more, no shigure is the one I love, but akira is so much nicer, but shigure promised to cure my weakness. In short yukina has turned into Bella, and WxxS has turned into one of the millions of bland shojou mangas out there.

Next shigure - Shigure used to be cool too, the not caring type, the type that used everyone and once he got bored he dumped them, the type with a hidden persona. After that he fell in love and kinda changed but its not that big of a problem, after all it was expected. BUT what wasn't expected was the fact how immaturely he handled his feelings. At first he denied his love for yukina until it dragged on forever, and ever. And when he decided to confess and finally make the plot go somewhere, Yukina rejected him. After that when Yukina declared her love for shigure after some chaps, shigure didn't do anything, he just stood there and did NOTHING, and the next cahpers of the manga continued as if nothing had occured after that. The same circles the same pointless love triangles had taken oever again.
Also did I mention shigure has absolutly zero personality in the later chaps, he is like a slow emotionless doll with zero expressions. I swear he has no feelings, even if he does, it doesn't show at all. This is how the mangaka takes a completely cool character and sucks the life out of it.

Akira- Akira was an awesome chracter, and like the other chracters in this manga he got a awful personality makeover. I can now say he has turned fully into an "edward". Bye-bye awesome akira, i'll miss you.

Mami- the only reason i gave the characters section 2 out of 10 is because of mami. I would have given it a 1 outherwise. She is the only chracter that is atleast realistic and has emotions, not to mention a personality. The only character that people can relate to and doesn't stand there all day doing nothing. Even tho she is a minor character she unlike the rest she has some meaning to me. I would even care if the mangaka killed off the other characters.

Enjotment 5- I really enjoyed the beginning. If I had only read the first volume and dropped the other four volumes I would have rated this 9. But now I had to resist the urge to rate the enjoyment section 3, thats how much I started hating this manga. This manga is lucky i rated enjoyment 5 instead.

Overall 4- Four is a good overall I guess, I have seen worse manga. And hey at least this didn't have ecchi in it, although yukina's mission did get alot awkard.

But back to the point, you want to know whether I recomend this manga, if you only plan to read the first volume, then I do recomend it. Otherwise I prefre if you don't ever pick up this piece of garbage. And before closing this I already know how many negative points I am going to get for writing this, in my defense I was only expressing what I believe to be the truth after all I did actually love the first volume, the rest not so much.

Well lets get straight to the point-

Plot (7) KnS is pretty much like the other animes which has empty plot and is mostly made up of fillers. I didn't expect much from KnS so I never really was dissapointed. KnS is not something I would call brilliant or great or very clever either, it is basically average. The plot wasn't horrible but it was olay. There wasn't much of a plot really, but its kind of a typical laid back anime that a person can watch when they have spare time. At the beginning of the show I thought it would lead to a ... more interesting conculsuion as it had a catchy theme (four elements thingys fighting off demons), but the mangaka didn't put the theme to good use sadly. I was also hoping for some better fighting scenes. And the biggest mistake was we get to know the actual villan of the anime at the last few eps where the plot finally turned up, the previous eps were all fillers.

Art(8) The colors are bright and eye catching. The character lining could be better and they could have been more well drawn but since its from 2007 its pretty much the best someone can hope for at that time. The fire effects could have been a lot better too. The details are 50/50.

Sound(7) -1 because ayano's high pitched voice ticks me off. The op is really good, the eds should have shown more than just pictures of the characters. The ed songs also didn't fit the anime well. But other than that the chracters voices fit them.

Character(6) The characters didn't have depth and had a one-sided personality. One word could describe all the characters perfectly. Like-
kazuma- composed and cool
ayano- angry and irritated
ren- childlike and soft natured
do you see now? these characters have no personality beyond the words I described. Sure kazuma had a twisted past and all, then suddenly he became murderous but it really didn't change his persona it just changed his emotions.

Enjoyment(7) It was fun, the anime. And it was relaxing and not too serious like death note etc. And its one of those plain and simple 24 ep animes. Besides I watched this anime a long time ago and it was one of my first animes so I couldn't judge it really well. But I did enjoy it for sure ^^

Overall (7) I recomend this anime to anyone who wants to watch it. Its not deep and there are more than some plotholes, and if you can ignore those missing sortylines and cliches then I am quiet sure you'll enjoy it.

Story(4 decent) Well for starter where is the story, where is the actual plot of thing? The the point of the anime is the PLOT! But sadly I can't seem to find it. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because this anime is excusable as it is suppose to be a slice of life/ romance and most romance animes don't have a plot. But this one seemed like the mangaka only wanted to draw a couple of fluffy sences revolving around two people and accidently forgot to add a plot. Oops. For me ... anime needs to me up hook to it and actually have SOME surprises even if its the teeny tiniest portion. But I never even have to guess cause I already saw through the entire season in ep 1. Well other than that I would liek to ask a queston, does misaki being a maid have anything to do with anything whatsoever? The only part it did play is people not finding out about it, and let me tell you it is a minor part. The only other reason is that the plot needed fillers. Loads of it. But in conclusion the anime could have ened in 3 or less eps. Also this anime is suppose to be relaxing but I can give a similie more sutiable: boring. Yea exactly.

Art(3 poor) The only character desing style I liked was aoi's boy form. The rest it just ....weird. Misaki's maid outfit is blah, her hair is blah, her eyes are too big, the sparkly and shiny background around make my eyes water(srsly tho), oh yea and all those people who saw usui has no flaw, I beg to differ, he has one flaw. He is not good-looking. Well at least not in my taste. I don't like bishonens like him. Well I do like some but usui is not someone I would date if I was in anime land. But my main problem with the art is that its too shiny I prefre classic ones (e.g. Pandora Hearts, Gosick).

Sound(5 Mdicore) Squeaky voices. Nuff said. Annoying ops and eds.

Characters(2 Dreadful) I didn't like one chracter not one. Misaki is the most annoying person I have everrrrrrrrrrrr seen. Ugh annoying annoying annoying. Tsundere? I don't think so, she is just like I said before- annoying. Everytime she speaks it gets on my nerves. She just has two facial expressions : trying to be cool, and being embarresed.Strong female lead? Go watch higurashi no koro naku ni, and you'll see how scary girls can get.Next usui. I don't have any opinion of him. To me he is just a character that is as good as not existing at all. Every other character has no point in this anime.

Enjoyment(5 Mdicore) I gave it a five because I have seen way worse animes, way worse so I thought it was fair to give it an average, cause thats what this anime was, average.

Overall 5, I am not saying this anime is horrible, just boring, I didn't find it interesting, but then again I watched it right after Pandora Hearts so it should be a surprise. My advice, watch it if you want to, don't watch it if you don't want to.
