Just your average generic self-insert romance.
Initially, Inhad very high hopes for this one, it looked cute and wholesome (and it is), but that's about all thar there is to this show.
The first two episodes were very good, (I even rated this a 9 after the first 3 eps) but it started going downhill rather quickly. The mc seemed allright in the beginning, I thiught he was a good guy in the beginning, but the more you watch, you realize he's just a big blabbering asshole. The female lead and side characters are really carrying the show, but no amount of carrying is enough
...
to attend for the mc's shittyness.
He acts like a giant turd in general and keeps going on about how it would be 'bad' if classmates found out about their relationship.
Like, why tf would that be bad?! Why does it even matter if people know or not?? Peak anime logic.
And some of the shit he says is just borderline psychopathically insane. For instance, when Shiina is sleeping in his bed and after she wakes up he says something along the lines of: "You are lucky I didn't take advantage of you" WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD THUNK THAT IS OK TO SAY. That's so fucking creepy, how is he this stupid?
Another cringe and very creepy moment is when he accidentally pushes shiina over and lands on top of her in typical romcom fashion and he then he thinks to himself: "I was this close to being the worst guy ever"
I thought I wasn't gonna get bored by the zero progress in relationship thing, but the mc's personality really ruined everything for me and thus I have gotten fed up with it. Luckily the mc is the only annoying character, all the other major characters are actually good.
I'm seriously considering dropping this. But I feel like I have ranted enough now.

Cute and wholesome generic romance anime, ruined by shitty mc.
Story: 5/10
Just typical romcom where there is absolutely 0 progress each episode. Guy and girl keep denying they love eachother.
It's getting very repetitive
Art and animation: 7/10
Pretty good, the character designs are great and animation is ok.
Music: 9/10
The op is decent, not good, not bad.
But I really love the ed's. Really cute covers of Chiisana koi no uta and ai uta, by Mahiro's vc
