Ahhh. Bunny Girl senpai. I thought this was going to be a great show at first, but winds up not making sense and overall a little stupid.I'm only on ep 4 so far and I'll probably make another review or add to this if I can. Also this is my first review so let's see how this goes.
Characters:
The only amazing characters imo are mai(she waifu material) and the mains sister. The main character, while he's a bland, boring main. It fits I guess. But he gets embarrassed by nothing and overall says some dumb random shit that no one would actually say w a straight face.
...
So the only flawless characters imo is mai because shes beautiful, a tsundere, but a mild tsundere at times that it isn't annoying. She's mature, and elegant. And really overall, a great character with a great personality. As the 2nd character that is flawless imo is the mains sister. Because of what she went through, her whole backstory makes sense. (At least of what I know at this point in the anime) and I can personally relate to her myself, making her a good character at least in my eyes. The way she currently acts reflects how happy and go lucky she wants to be, possibly pushing away her past. And therefore, hiding her true emotions yet seemingly getting over that. She seems happy now, but her past relates to her current self makes her a flawless character. Again, imo. Futaba, the "smart"(supposed to be smart character) emotionless character, is bland and not enjoyable at all.
There's one thing that bothers me. It's that the syndrome that the whole anime is based around. The "Puberty Syndrome", while it's kinda foolish name. The systematics and everything behind it doesn't make sense. Futaba, says shit that sounds smart but it doesn't make any sense and your wondering why and how tf this shit works. Basically bc it sounds smart, you'll go along w it, but actually taking the time to think ab it makes it stupid and not smart at all, you're just wound to think that. The explanations yea they make no sense.
Like I stated above, I love some of the characters. But the whole backstory and shit on the syndrome it focuses around makes not alota sense leaving me confused and wondering wtf is going on. If they fixed that aspect of it, I'd love the anime. Either way, it's an okay anime but they just need to do more explaining and make the whole premise behind what's happening actually MAKE SENSE. The first two eps of the anime, I absolutely loved it. I was going to give it an 8 on mal. But. After I learned why she was invisible and the so called "science" behind it made me think it was stupid and bland shit that doesn't make sense and overall dissapointed. Because I thought it was gonna be some mind blowing, clamatic reason to why she was dissapearing from the world. But nope.
Art:
The art style is actually really good imo and pretty to look at.
Sound:
Nothing special. The voice acting is good, the op is a good song. Nice visuals aswell as the ending.
Overall, it's a okay show with potential but just winds up flopping due to the underdeveloped idea of the "Puberty Syndrome"
