10 - A masterpiece, which is flawless and perfect in every way. There wasn't anything boring or missing and has left a permanent impression.

9 - Just shy of 10/10, this is near-perfect. There is either something slight missing from it or it has every right to be a 10, but just wasn't as special.

8 - An enjoyable show, movie, manga. Any flaws can be overlooked; the characters are engaging, the experience was fun and unforgettable.

7 - A solid show, movie, manga. These are somewhat memorable and somewhat liked; I think things are missing or doesn't have a big impact.

6 - A show, movie, manga that was fine, but wouldn't be as eager to experience them again. Flaws are harder to overlook, and they may fall into patterns that make it seem repetitive, with little progress.

5 - A show, movie, manga that is neither too bad nor too good, average. Usually forgettable, but has a couple of things going for it. Nothing special, in the long run.

4 - A show, movie, manga that is bad and/or severely flawed. There was some sort of foundation here, but it fell flat or got too inconsistent overall. The experience could have been so much more, but watching it wasn't completely boring or repulsive.
