I'll tell you the truth about this Anime adaptation of Lord of Mysteries that people don't accept, it's very simple, basically the anime was made mainly for fans of the Novel, which doesn't necessarily mean that those who haven't read the original can't enjoy the anime, but as the original is extensive, deep and detailed it becomes an impossible task to add all that amount of information and elements present in each chapter.

Many events were done in a different order than in the novel or simply cut and shaped differently, so to put it simply, is it worth watching as a mystery anime with a ... bit of supernatural action? YES! WITHOUT A DOUBT, but those who haven't read the original will be able to pick out all the nuances of the plot between the lines? NO DOUBT THAT NOT!

But I recommend that anyone who watches until the last episode reads the novel afterward, because you will not only read a masterpiece, one of the best novels ever made, but also depending on your time and reading, you will be ready for the second season of Donghua, That's it...

Dekin no Mogura is simple perfect a masterpiece, I've never seen anything like it before, and I will definitely watch it all over again when it's finished!

The mix between the Supernatural and Comedy is very unique, I've even read some similar mangas before, but nothing like this one, Mogura is an unforgettable character but will probably be easily forgettable for most people.

I've watched and read some of Mizuki Shigeru's works before (the creator of the popular Ge Ge Ge no Kitarou) and Dekin no Mogura has a similar vibe to their works, which in itself was enough to please me but it doesn't stop there.

You ... may find this anime strange because of its aesthetics, but don't be fooled, because it is very different from what you imagine. Mogura already gains points just for the simple fact of being one of those unpopular anime that are released in droves throughout the year. In other words, it undoubtedly has its originality, since no matter how many eras pass, there will always be a lack of originality.

Unfortunately, most people will not see these things I mentioned above and Mogura will continue to be underestimated and misunderstood as the number of new viewers increases, so I recommend that you watch it without even thinking twice, I just don't guarantee that you will be able to easily see everything with these eyes, since it is another one of those works that few will recognize its value.

A masterpiece, this has already become one of my favorite anime of all time! I've been waiting for something like this for a long time, as an art and animation enthusiast.

The animation has an innovative style with a unique vibe, I've always loved stop motion and it's simply impossible not to like what they did in this anime, it's so fluid and detailed with a stunning color palette, Honestly, I wish there were at least one or two anime like this per season, just to break away from the norm of new anime.

I had already watched Kuromi's Pretty Journey and all the seasons of Onegai ... My Melody before watching this one, as I have a soft spot for anime/manga with this kind of cute and pleasant theme (as much as my profile here on MAL might say otherwise). I was very excited when saw the trailer. I knew would like it because I had already devoured thousands of anime of the same genre before discovering this one, but My Melody & Kuromi truly exceeded my expectations.

Writing a review like this might seem like I'm exaggerating, and this anime isn't even that good, but don't be fooled. My Melody & Kuromi might not really mean anything to you if it's not the kind of story you're used to watching, especially considering the series' more childish tone.

Speaking a little about something interesting I noticed in this anime, the first part has a lighter tone, while the second part is the opposite, with a slightly darker tone, with a lot of things going wrong. This was brilliant because it ends up indirectly symbolizing the duality between the two main characters, My Melody and Kuromi, as they are the opposite of each other.

I didn't find any problems with the story, it's perfect from beginning to end, the ending is also good and has a great conclusion, it's one of those that makes you want to watch a sequel, I also recommend watching all the episodes on the same day because besides having a duration of 12 minutes per episode, the pace also becomes more pleasant, so if you were still in doubt, I recommend that you at least give My Melody & Kuromi a chance and let your heart melt with this cute animation aesthetic.

I highly recommend it for a few reasons, this Donghua may be a bit unknown, but it is still promising and has beautiful art and animation, especially if you have already watched other similar fantasy anime, as this one contains an atmosphere that changes quickly between calm and storm, in addition to the romance and character development, the plot is interesting, the kind where you should pay attention to some details between the lines among other elements for a better understanding of the story.

However, since the series is still ongoing (07/28/2025) it is difficult to predict how the story will develop, if you like diving ... into new series and are willing to wait and see how the plot unfolds, "Celestial Bonds" may be worth watching.
