If your not very sure what F-Zero is let me fill you in since the synopsis doesn't really explain much. F-Zero is one of the first futuristic racing games produced by Nintendo EAD and is a good seller amongst their franchises. You may have heard of the franchises main character Capt. Falcon appearing more popularly in the Super Smash Brothers Series with his signature Falcon Punch. Its funny because the Falcon Punch wasn't really a thing until this anime came out and was then spread by the Smash Bros Series. This was a damn good anime for its time and I am surprised barely anyone
...
has actually seen it.
Story 9/10
The story is really deep and really focuses on explaining the F-Zero Universe. Most of the early episodes are somewhat filler as it usually follows a line of introduce one of the games racers and stimulate a plot based around that character. While most people don't enjoy filler episodes like this I actually found them to be quite enjoyable and learned quite a bit about the series in general. The episodes later on start really developing the story around the Mobile Task Force and Dark Million which had lots of tension. Not sure if any of it replicates any of the games storyline since its been a while since I played but damn is it good at providing a core plot and sticking to it and you can just see its evolution and its quite fascinating. I also found it quite interesting when they made references to like Capcom and Star Fox. They really have their way with pleasing Nintendo Fans.
Art 8/10
For an anime that released in 2003 it had really great animation and style and quite enjoyed the F-Zero machines and designs. It really makes them more recognizable now however I felt the anime's art may have been a tad to dark at some points. I felt like I could really see what was actually going on but other than that it was great.
Sound 10/10
What I really enjoyed was the fact they included big themes from the game into the anime like Big Blue Theme and Mute City. I really felt a rush of nostalgia hearing them in this anime. Also the OP and ED were fantastic additions well. They are pretty recognizable and fit well into this animes style.
Character 10/10
They did an excellent job of portraying characters from the games series. Not only was our main character development amazing I really enjoyed the supporting/minor characters that made appearances in the anime. It helps the show really explain F-Zero as a whole. They even took another measure and evaluated the one character you came to see and thats Capt. Falcon. Most people expected the most baddest character from him just Falcon Punching everything in sight. Well, instead they made him mysterious. For the first few episodes they make sure you wanna keep watching just to see Capt. Falcon more and more. I really do believe he had the strongest role even though he had less appearance than most of the Mobile Task Force. Truthfully its worth watching just for Capt. Falcon and his story.
Overall 9/10
Putting it on to terms, this anime was probably meant for those F-Zero and Nintendo Fans out there wanting to view more about Capt. Falcon. Yeah, half of it is filler of the actual games it still can be good to watch and expand your horizon on the games. If you don't really care for F-Zero at all you will probably not enjoy this at all because it moves rather slow in the beginning. However, if you were just looking for something intense to watch don't overlook this for something newer/well known. It still poses a great act for story and action in general and you won't be displeased with it all.

If your a guy how does a school just for women that teaches them how to pilot huge mechas that kick total ass sound? Pretty good am I right? Well in Infinite Stratos that is the reality. A mega harem should you say filled with infinite possiblites and they throw mechas into the mix to keep your attention about it.
Story 7/10
I feel story wise a school that teaches students how to use mechas doesn't sound that original may disappoint you but this doesn't really focus on mechas all that much. It really focuses on Ichika and the huge harem on his shoulders. It sets
...
a very comedic tone to you just to sit back and enjoy women fighting over one guy. Very hilarious if you ask me but I still feel like they could of done more with the mechas instead of the usually fight with one mysterious mecha with somewhat great power bit.
Art 9/10
It has a very up to date art style and it looks very beautiful. The color schemes are very vibrant and IS machines themselves don't stand out and fit in nicely with the anime.
Sound 9/10
I really enjoyed the OP and ED quite frankly. Not much to note about but they don't feel very distinguished like I would remember them if I heard them again down the road.
Characters 10/10
The development of characters was okay but I really enjoyed the diversity in the characters associated. Lot of different kinds and Infinite Stratos presents them in a way you'll be rooting for which girl wins out over the others. They also made me laugh with about ever little bit presented in the anime it sort of reminded me of things like Angel Beats.
Overall 9/10
If like a harem with infinite possibilities this just may be something you need to check out. I know the Mecha genre is really all that popular anymore but the focus isn't really set on the IS Machines at all really. But if you were looking for a good Mecha anime, this is not the best example to show for the genre but it is a good series to start with if your just getting into it and I can't wait to watch the second season.

After hearing discussion about this anime I found this out about it. There are two kinds of people appear after watching the anime, those who understand it and those who don't. Those who understand it are those who love the anime and those who don't are the ones who don't necessarily hate it but are left confused.
Story 8/10
The story is good but its one you won't actually get until the third episode but simple as that really. Its not too overwhelming and is actually interesting. The comedy is a little overdone in it all but the action is really great and also just
...
over the top random.
Art 7/10
Its a very simplistic style as far as how everything is drawn but I think it suits FLCL very well considering what its about. All I really have to say about that.
Sound 9/10
I really enjoyed the songs for this anime but if I didn't know any better I would say you could probably make a music video for the pillows with the anime. The songs are also very catchy and memorable its just like I hear a couple of notes and I'm like "Yep, thats FLCL."
Character 6/10
I did not enjoy the characters as much as I though I would. Mamimi herself was really of a downer than anything. I don't know if its just me but a lot of shows that are just really random and all characters are just really energetic they always have that one downer character so don't feel "too" good about watching the anime. The anime also doesn't include much background information about any of its characters so it was kind of hard to pick up on things like Mamimis story and all and hell, probably wouldn't have picked up on some crucial things without reading the wiki.
Overall 7/10
This was a good anime but I think it is a little over-hyped for what it actually is. The comedy wasn't really the best but if you like really spazzy and random events go ahead and give it a watch. Hell, watch it if you don't, I think it really excels in is presenting itself enjoyable to any audience. So if you got a few hours to spare I would give it a watch, just don't focus too much on plot or anything it will make somewhat easier to understand.

Well Pico to Chico is the follow up to Boku No Pico. Not much has really changed from the original OVA as far style goes but it feels like less of an impact after you have seen the first one.
Story 2/10
There is really nothing I can make out of this one. The two kids Chico and Picoa re brought together after an encounter at the lake and after spying on Chicos sister the have sexual endeavors. Not really much after that to take big notes about.
Art 6/10
Its the same style as the first, very realistic like. Still I am not the biggest fan of
...
the gay sex but hey if that is your thing you might enjoy the art style a little more than I did.
Character 3/10
This part still follows through like the first only containing three characters: Pico, Chico and Chico's Older Sister. One thing that really brings me down here is that the creators persist on giving the younger character feminine clothing and voices. It was a little more believable when it was just Pico but it just feels like overkill with two of them. Chico's sister appears to often pleasure herself and becomes the main reason why Chico and Pico experimented on themselves and at the end she finds out but does nothing about it. This really made me feel like the its getting a little unreal with itself and I think it would have been best to leave her out of the final scenes instead of making it even weirder than it is. This fact alone pulls down the character score a bunch and it gives me a lot of questions to ask.
Sound 3/10
While the theme in this one is less of a pain to my ears its still not great. If you really didn't like the first theme of Boku No Pico chances are you really won't like this one either.
Overall 2/10
The difference between this and the original is that if you watch the first it brings something new to the table but this one does not show any new qualities to be weirded out by that the first didn't already accomplish. More or less what different could the second one be compared to the first. I think if you watched the first there really isn't no harm in watching the second but hear me out it doesn't bring anything else thats worth noting about the first didn't already do.

I gotta say I was waiting to watch this for a while now just because I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Well, everything fussed about in this short OVA is really overwhelming and the fuss is real. I won't ever bother with Hentai no matter the story but since its got a lot to talk about I am going to review it along with the two sequels and I will be fair about.
Story 3/10
While I am giving it a three now I am only reviewing this part of Boku No Pico, keep that in mind. Its story is somewhat
...
realistic actually scratch that I am positive something like this story could possibly happen or has already happened. The way I see the story as it is about a young boy named Pico who was seen by an older gentleman named Mokkun whow as really asked by Pico's grandfather to keep Pico company while he is staying with him for a while. Mokkun teaches Pico about sexuality and the rest is history. I mean in a world like today I do foresee events like this taking place. Honestly it feels like when I am watching it I just think of news reports of Mokkun getting arrested or something like that. It just feels so real to me and thats why it gets a 3
Art 6/10
I'll admit it the art style wasn't bad at all for a 2006 anime. Whats really interesting about it, its actually still takes a realistic approach to it and doesn't focus heavily on trying to stand out. However, those sex scenes were incredibly hard to watch. If your really into this kind of stuff maybe you'll enjoy it but believe me I about threw up.
Sound 2/10
Actually one of the first animes I have seen with music and sound I actually hated. The ending and opening theme are exactly the same but at the same time the tune itself is not really good but yet it does fit the anime in general. As you can guess it is Pico singing about his love for Mokkun so don't get your hopes up for anything to special there.
Character 6/10
Even though there are only 3 characters total with lines it still makes a fair character portrayal. Like I was saying early the characters depict very realistic events which makes them unique. Mokkun is indeed a pedophile but when I watch I do not really see him as one. Call me crazy, but in a way he's more of a teacher in that he is showing Pico sexuality but at the same time I don't feel as he is being fully there for Pico. I feel like Mokkun is really just using Pico for a guilty pleasure. Pico on the other hand really cares for Mokkun. He understands he is a boy and knows it is odd for one to be wearing dresses and such but still accepts Mokkun's gift. He's not raped or manipulated by Mokkun at all he just accepts and feels pleasure in there interactions. Like it or not the characters here are actually well put together as a whole.
Overall 4/10
Truthfully I don't believe I get what the creators were trying to point out to me nor do I think I ever will when I watch the sequels. Yeah its a lot for just one 30 minute OVA but I don't think I ever put so much thought into series before. Isn't it funny how very minor twists on morals can make weirder scenarios than anything else. Though with that in mind I really didn't like what I saw and I did about vomited all over the place. Its still a very disgusting anime and thats why its label R+ - Hentai. However, if one wants to watch it keep in mind there is lots of gay sex scenes for just one OVA and most likely more in the follow ups so take caution there but if you can handle it and want to see what the fuss is all about, watch it. It will make you think hard about life in general.

So have you ever seen anything that looked so super special awesome you just had to get it then once you get it you were let down by what it didn't do. Well thats how Deadman Wonderland is. I was really hyped to actually watch this because a lot of my friends were like its way better than anything I've seen yet. Sadly I was really let down. I won't touch base with the OVA as all that is a back story.
Story 6/10
The story is no way bad or anything it just feels like there area bunch of holes in it and even so it
...
wasn't paced that great either. The beginning was really rushed to the whole "Deadman Wnderland amusement park prison" aspect where the main character was forced into such a hell hole within like 5 minutes of the first episode which in that time he acquires such powers he has no clue of their acquisition. Based off that, the story really had no where to go in terms of contrast and most the events were really predictable. This really led to an okay but somehow happy ending. It really isn't the best ending but it feels like it promotes a second season which I do not foresee ever happening. Even with this in play I was actually waiting to feel any sort of emotion while watching it but I can say it doesn't make me feel any different while watching it as I said it was pretty predictable.
Art 8/10
This was really good and usually fit the mood of most of this anime revolving around the worst prison system ever created so yeah it was usually dark. However I did not favor the immense amounts of gross out scenes and cringey amounts of gore. I realize there are other series I have seen with way more gore but this whole series focuses on the gore and bloodshed.
Sound 9/10
The music seems to be the most redeeming part of the entire series. No matter how you watched this anime dub or sub, the themes are the exact same but either way they got me pumped to watch this series. I really could listen to the Opening and Credits 100 times over and still love it but sadly that was really the only good thing the music department had going for me.
Character 7/10
Like the story the characters introduced really went no where. The anime tries to make you feel sympathy for the characters but these attempts happen way to early for you to feel anything for them so in a way there doesn't seem to be any real development. Also they added in way too many supporting characters who really didn't contribute any to the plot. Even with all the back stories nothing really changed about how I feel about the characters. Even with Ganta's and Shiro's childhood, its one of those "They have good friendship then they depart then boy forgets" childhood. However I really came to like Shiro. She was really unique to the series as being one of those characters who didn't really bum me out every time I look at her. I also like the fact they didn't really push for any romance kind of actually caught me off guard in the end but other than them characters were really bland.
Overall 7/10
Like I said in the beginning this anime is sort of a let down to me but I have no business calling it bad anime it Was actually good. I just think that this anime doesn't really bring anything new to mind after watching it and it didn't make feel anything while watching it. If you really haven't seen a whole lot of anime or just haven't seen any for quite some time this is actually a great anime to watch. While it may not be the best story for its time it still is fairly decent and if you were wanting to watch it go ahead its not horrible but its not the greatest thing ever spawned and theres nothing really new about it. However if there is any real sequel this may or may not change but for now Deadman Wonderland will get a 7 from me also if you havew atched this series you might as well watch the OVA. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the series but hey it won't kill you right?

I'll be honest here, Kodomo no Jikan is not the most normal animes I've ever seen but it is worthy of a review. Now this anime does takes sexual innuendo and pushes a lot and puts it onto a level of adult and child and even a little of incest in between which is where I found it to be somewhat weird.
Story 2/10
What can I say, this anime doesn't really have any major conflict or plot development. Its mostly just about the three girls: Kagami, Kokonoe and Usa harrassing there teacher Aoki ever day. When I said the sexual innuendo was present I meant
...
it was coming from the children not the adult in question which just makes it even weirder than it already is.
Art 7/10
It was good and very realistic indeed. It wasn't too heavy and it usually fit itself into every situation. Can't really say whats holding it back but meh, it just seems generic though thats not to say that it was bad just generic.
Sound 8/10
Music for intro and credits were very good to be honest. They fit into the anime but I didn't really felt moved by them after listening in a couple of times through but damn that little rolling sound of their logo at the intro scares the shit out of me every time.
Character 7/10
Hmm the characters here are quite unusual. Our three main girls are in the third grade but seem very affiliated with sexual slang and terms which I don't know means anything but it really bothered me. It makes me wonder, where did they even acquire such knowledge. However they were still somewhat of an enjoyable bunch of friends. Kokonoe is in love with the teacher Aoki and forces herself upon him with harrasment and even goes as far as kissing him on the lips its kind of disgusting but yet at the same time I found myself laughing at some of this stuff. It beats me but they did a really good job of modeling child-like shenanigans. Other than that the character development was present but I didn't really feel like it took off any until the final episode.
Overall 6/10
Kodomo no Jikan is one of those animes that sticks holes in your morals if you got any but I did find it enjoyable to say the least. At first glance I was actually not going to watch it when I thought most of the character relationships were going to be the other way around [man on child] but was relieved when it was a child's doing. Though I do feel like there is something missing in this anime. The story if any, just didn't feel fulfilling at all and everything I saw was kind of expected from the git go. If you wanna watch something a little different for once I totally recommend this for you but don't take any of this anime to heart.

------HOLD UP BEFORE YOU READ-------
Okay before I start here I do not want to spoil anything for anyone if they are not ready. I have no way to give an honest review of this anime without spoiling so PLEASE...if you have not seen the anime or do not wanna be spoiled do not read past this point. Thank you, now lets get on with the review.
Story 10/10
Final warning, if you don't want to be spoiled STOP reading. The Future Diary entail of a game involving 12 users and their cell phones and one over seer Deus Ex Machina to win the throne of god.
...
The game involves the 12 going at it like animals in survival of the fittest. I really love the aspect of this whole anime in general. This plot is simple but yet its not about the game. No the main story is the words "Maybe one day when we're older." This quote only shows when will the day actually come when our dreams and futures unfold and that is what this anime is trying to say. It says you never know whats going to happen until it happens and thats what made the story of this so good. Towards the end of the game is when I had no idea what was right or wrong. The twists of the end game mind boogled me than any other anime could. If you don't understand any of this, watch the anime, the 10/10 is worth it.
Art 10/10
Damn son this anime was sadistically beautiful. No matter how I looked at it they did everything right with how this anime looked. No hiding or anyhting it is clear and beautiful. Simple as that and if you don't understand, watch the anime 10/10 is worth it.
Sound 10/10
Usually Sound always does good for me but in this anime has one of the best assortment of music. Its generic for an anime to have good music but I don't know the whole line-up made me feel what this anime is all about and if you don't understand, watch the anime, 10/10 is worth it.
Character 10//10
This is what I loved the most about this anime. Hell if there was an option this would get an 11/10. This anime by far had the most unique cast of characters and you know what, I enjoyed them all. I won't talk about all of them but I will only scratch at the ones who got to me the most. Yuno and Yuki. These two had the biggest impact on me while I was watching the anime. Yuki is an average shy and sort of pathetic kid who can be easily manipulated. He has no friends and like a lot of kids with his abnormalities the main cause was his parents divorcing. Out of all the characters you would think he would be the first to die but then comes Yuno. She is a very pretty, smart girl who is obsessed with Yuki. Obsessed probably isn't even a strong enough term to describe how she loves Yuki. She takes matters in her own hands to protect Yuki even if that means keeping him isolated from friends or family. Their relationship seems forced from the start of the anime but over time through the anime Yuki seems to fall for her. Thats what I love how your ot very sure what the status is between them. If anything above does not say 10/10 this section should. The development between every character and relationships throughout must mean something and damn do they not make an amazing anime.
Overall 10/10
I downright loved every single piece of this anime. I'm so glad I got the chance to watch this masterpiece. If you haven't seen this anime you NEED to. Trust me it is the best thing you will probably see and if you have seen the anime watch the OVA Redial. The ending is not complete until you see the OVA as an extra bonus to this series.

Squid girl was something I found while just browsing around for something to watch. Its intriguing title led me to watch over the weekend and I feel glad that I watched it.
Story 3/10
Story in itself is not very great at all. It is one of those short animes but it does not do much with its story though thats mainly the fact that it is for the most part a comedic anime. The line, "I am Squid Girl, emissary of the sea," would make you think what else could Squid Girl do with herself besides spit ink and use her tentacles.
Art 8/10
Its a pretty
...
generic art style but yet its not overdone. Some of its realistic art skits are really amazing and it made me laugh a lot. Its as simple as that.
Sound 9/10
The music is really good. The opening is very loud and takes a little to adjust too but it really grew upon towards the end of the anime. The credits are very soothing at the very end of each episode. Overall I would say the sound in general describes this anime very well. Its not too overpowering but at the same time its very relaxing in general.
Character 8/10
I find many of the supporting characters in this to be rather "prop-like" in the sense they are generally used as comedic relief. However many of the main characters such as Eiko and Chizuru show that average "grown upon attitude over annoying main character" as the anime progresses on. However I don't find this very bad at all, in fact it actually kept very hidden which in turn makes it really interesting. As for our main character Squid Girl [aka Ika] she has the style of an annoying but also comedic main character role within the anime. Though I really like her as a whole and she reallly grew upon mea s the show went on. She was always there to make you laugh with her llack on human knowledge which makes her quite unique.
Overall 7/10
I really enjoyed this anime but the lack of story made me feel like there was something missing from it. Though thats not to say its a bad anime. If you enjoy many small comedic skits and very semi-realistic events yu will love this anime. There are not many spots it will make burst out in pure laughter but yet you will never be in a bad mood when watching this anime. I feel if you really want to enjoy this anime watch it in small parts when your feeling sad or down and I assure you it will make your day better.

Sunday Without God is one of those animes I watch and I am like, "How would it be if this actually happened." What if this world was one without death, birth or true life in general.
Story 6/10
The initial story, in a world where god abandoned it may sound really interesting but as far as the anime went it didn't feel like they really touched on the topic that much. It was more about the adventure about the young grave keeper Ai. It is as short anime so it is hard to develop a great story but ehh, it could have been expanded upon much more.
Art
...
9/10
It is by far one of the more artistic looking animes I have seen. Though its style does not really fit in with the tone of the anime. The anime has a morbid and touchy topic story so you would think think it would look a little darker than what it is.
Sound 10/10
I watched this dub and may rewatch in sub but I gotta say I loved every bit of sound and voice in this anime especially Ai, she has the most adorable voice in this series. Opening gets you pumped to watch this anime and the credits make such a good closer to any episode.
Character 8/10
Characters in this anime seem to have a straight forward personality and beliefs but I feel there is no real character development. However thats not to say I didn't like any of them. Ai yet again takes the cake here. She is so adorable in every way.
Overall 7/10
I find Sunday Without God to be a really good anime. Its cute but yet very extreme with an usual story. I would definitely watch this anime if you enjoy stories about parallel universes from our own you should definitely watch this anime. Now if you aren't really interested after a couple of episodes I highly recommend sticking around to the end. The final few episodes are very enjoyable to watch and feel very deep. However the ending did leave me with questions on what actually happened. It such a cliff hanger. But such good anime overall
