I liked this series just about the whole way through. Except for the final war, once phos went ballistic and killed everyone i understood her anger of course but i’d still say it was the wrong choice to make. Land of the Lustrous had an amazing storyline but didn’t explain in detail too much about each event and it also lost touch after phos killed everyone.

The show just became depression. I was highly expecting the rocks through volume 13 to actually be gemstones where phos would be able to live the rest of her life with her friends again or something that resulted in ... a semi-good ending. But for phos to obviously die which was inevitable, it just made volume 13 seem like a waste of time.
