fantastic. great growth narrative. extremely fun and distinct cast of characters. it really is in all the side characters where this story shines- it's a classic beat them in a fight and now they're you're friend. all the female characters are sex objects, especially bomi, but i am willing to overlook it because they're fun outside of being a sex object. hobin is a really lovable protagonist, his greed just make him more relatable. everything is really satisfying and wrapped up well. just a really fun read, really well done, and again, fantastic characters, each with an interesting character arc and motivation that play off

really good comic. characters are lovable, cats are well drawn, for a few years this was my favorite webtoon and i was begging everyone to read it. unfortunately, i had to drop the comic once they introduced characters of color and they all had grey skin. it completely took me out of the comic and i just couldn't read it anymore. also, the way the author wrote women rubbed me the wrong way. subin is fine because the joke is that she's not much of a girl, but the other female leads were all really quiet and i felt they had no interiority. especially the

excellent read. art is good, characters are good. best feature is how it traverses a multitude of genres. it will make you laugh and cry depending on the arc. it's really impressive how beautiful and true lines can be read with a straight face and not come off as obnoxious. the main character is really serious about his feelings, but other characters frequently lampshade how cringe he is, stopping it from being too much. there's really something for everyone in here, from power fantasy tower crawl to classic rofan. good story with a big heart. the cast of characters changes with every arc, but they

the art is extremely expressive, great at caricatures. you get characters with a variety of body types, albeit, rampant lookism. the plot is quite ridiculous and unbelievable, so much so that i enjoy it. it's camp. so absurd, it becomes enjoyable. this is an issue when it tries to discuss serious topics like overwork and suicide while doing it through weebs doing tiktok dances featuring silly facial expressions. a good mine for reaction images, but again, any attempt at seriousness is drowned out by the absurdity of the situations coupled with a cartoonish art style. a good laugh. i feel kind of bad for laughing

art is gorgeous, and every character has a lot going on behind their sparkly eyes. this is one you really read for the plot. there are really complex dynamics at play, the two leads both distrust each other for good reasons. the character growth is really interesting both mentally and physically, and it's great to watch two smart characters balance distrusting each other and growing closer. quite dark at times, definitely not a fluffy read. everything achieved is a struggle. but definitely interesting, again, the motivations are COMPLEX and it is extremely fun to watch everything be explained. if you want a good psychological read,

art is gorgeous. worldbuilding can be a bit confusing. there is a constellation patronage type magic system, which is fun at times, and overcomplex and dues ex machina at others. the male lead is a really fun guy- has a lot of depth, interesting backstory and motivations. he actually feels like he would be the main character of his own story instead of a sexy piece of wood. female lead can be funny at times. the real star is agnes, who provides the typical ghost mentor drill sargent humor bit. there's a lot of humor, and the jokes don't always land for me. decent read

sexism commentary is alright, but a bit trite. i like how we have four very different women to follow, and how they all have different romances going on. it's a bit quiet. not at all salacious or snappy. just a quiet, meditative look into the lives of these women. generally very wholesome, but sometimes it falls into being preachy. i do find the main male lead to be a bit dull, especially in that everything here is very wholesome, proper, politically correct. everyone thinks really hard about respecting each other's feelings. if you're into people being respected, this is a great manhwa for you. if

finally, a villainess manga where not only is she actually villainous, but there is an interesting discussion of idealism vs realism. author is way more knowledgable about the political economy than the average author and it serves the story so well. character designs are pretty solid as well. our two female leads are great and fun to see battle, side characters are interesting too. i will not drop spoilers but the author is a master of foreshadowing. worldbuilding is a bit weak, it focuses more on philosophical discussion of problems than actual things happening.
best manga ive read in a while tbh.

The art is pretty good. The plot and characters and blatantly stolen from 15th century European politics. Which is fine. Retellings are fine. Maybe what the Papal States really needed was one isekaied mc to romance away generations of political strife. Maybe an Italo-Spanish noblewoman (daughter of the pope????) can marry an English knight and it helps ease tensions between noble families. Fine. Sure.
