Sometimes people write reviews to show the anime they have watched and how great they are at writing words. I write them for those reasons and sometimes for a completely separate one.
12 episodes in and this is amazing. If you do read this, please understand that my command of the language is not amazing but I believe it is more than sufficient to get my point across.
I will not discuss any technical aspects of the anime but solely focus on the emotional attachment or I would say the reward for putting my time in it.
This anime has been astounding. The subtle hints which it
...
brings to its viewers and slowly allows them to enjoy each character for what it is. It provides goosebumps moments, necessary pacing and wholesome experience. It is purely the cumulation of many of its goods that made it an absolute masterpiece.
You like your action, I like my shoujo ai. But there are works that based upon its utter beauty that should be watched by many. If you wondering what to watch next, try this and allow it to capture your heart

Fuck! That was so good. This anime does not waste time on useless scenes, every second and minute of it was perfectly crafted and tells a beautiful story.
The Art was exceptional and the sound shook my heart.
The characters were the crucial point of the anime which each and every one of the cast was unique. Blah blah blah.
To summarize, this is a SOL anime that does not go through the usual pains that average SOL presents. It is cute and adorably cute at that. The pains were logical and yet presented perfectly, Sometimes SOL anime creates a premise where it forcefully makes the character
...
suffer simply because for the sake of it. This anime does not but it creates an endearing story that showed a particular universe where 5 different people come together and make things happen. This is its beauty. A good start, a smooth flow and an excellent ending. Fitting in the genre and tells a story that is unique in its own way, filled with lovable characters, presented in cute art, accompanied with outstanding soundtrack. I totally enjoyed it - 10/10

Kanon has been a huge emotional turmoil and hurdle to get over. To summarize, its good.
Firstly, the aesthetics of the anime is simply bewildering. It is an anime released during late 2006 but oh my god, what a beautifully animated piece of art. The details, the emotions and even the clock on the wall is so beautifully animated. I dare say that it rivals modern anime in this aspect. Please do not look at the image put up here, it does not do it justice.
The sound definitely hit the sweet spot. The music used were perfect and fitting.
The story is good, very good. However, it
...
did not fully satisfy me. The reason is because the overall concept of the anime was well thought of. There are certain elements that just didn't tie well together. I had questions when the anime ended. The story had a conclusion but it didn't conclude to my standards. I had questions but no answers.
The characters of Kanon is the biggest reason you should watch the anime. The main character is not generic. This means that I do not identify him in categories like "dumb and useless" or "overpowered". He carves a personality for himself, stays loyal to it and broadcast it as who he is. This applies across the board towards all other characters but for the main characters who is the core of the story truly speaks for himself.
On the whole, Kanon is outstanding. It is an anime that tells a great story which is delivered through beautiful animation and soundtrack. The story which is brought to life because of the characters. Thus, Kanon was enjoyable which is the main criteria towards any series. If you are passing by, pick it up.

In relation to art and sound aspect, it is close to a 10 by taking into account of the technology available at that point of time.
The story is an 8 simply because there were hiccups in various moments in the anime but the concept of a cross-dressing teacher definitely did not award it anywhere lower.
The characters showed great promise, they really do. But the lack of episodes couldn't allow greater depth to be developed. As it stands, it is an 8.
From the above criteria, it brings to wonder why on the whole it is a 10, because I enjoyed it.
I just simply love how forbidden
...
concepts like a cross-dresser, teacher X student love and concept homosexuality came into play. In the minds of junior high students who are around the age of 14-16, what is their concept of love? This anime takes upon all of these elements and made a story. It is unfair, unjust and stupid to judge the anime from the POV of an adult or someone in their silver hair days. It showed how teenagers who are struggling with understanding what is love and are there limits. One might say that homosexuality, age difference and all other "taboo" things in society are bad but I beg to differ. I have no problems against these concepts because I believe that if that is where you feel most happy, you should go for it. And this anime does it. It delve into how these concept would work in reality and dug out a path which a person who accepts such "taboo" elements would take. If there were more episodes, this would have been an anime sensation but does it matter?
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this anime despite lacking in areas, it greatly and sufficiently satisfied me. On the whole, it was outstanding.

There are enough 10/10 reviews on MAL regarding Hachimitsu to Clover (HC), so this is
just another one of them. HC can be summarized into reality. It attempts to join the concept of reality, first love, use-to-bes, sacrifice etc and apply these elements onto our casts and their daily lives. This is a slice-of-life anime, this is a romance anime but do not expect fluffy, happy go lucky theme but it is not dark, it is just rough.
The story is a 10. Good writing, good pacing and how the viewers feelings are evoke. You feel sad for the characters and you feel happy. You
...
drift with the story which makes it truly outstanding.
The art in its time is definitely good. There are no irritating aspects of the art of the scenes nor the characters. The tears, smiles and feelings of the cast were beautifully presented. The art is outstanding.
The sound was good. It is immersive but I never felt that it move me. Sure, it was at the right place at the right time but it is not the right one. But it did not lack, it was very good.
Here comes the fastball. The characters. The last 36 episodes (if I am not wrong) was filled with how the characters have developed. There is no definite point but you can see clear growth through the trials and tribunals each of the characters receive. There are only 5 people in the main cast but side characters whom are thrown into the fray receive development that is on par. Aside from the width, the depth of development is truly remarkable. The growth of young girl to a mature woman. The overcoming of love. The realization of self worth. The journey towards the future. The psychological process and thoughts were presented expertly and without these characters or if they were developed any bit smaller, I would not have enjoyed it. It is outstanding.
What I hold dear in any anime is the enjoyment that I derived from it. An anime that can leave one's emotions all over the place is enjoyable. Therefore on the whole, Hachitmitsu to Clover is an outstanding anime. Try it.

I am writing this review as a person who has just finished the series including season 2. I will be watching the movie tomorrow. As I finish this anime, it has really made me tremendously sad because of losing it.
To start off, I will comment on the story. The story was fantastic, it furnish the typical.high school life with music. Sounds plain? Exactly. But even plain commoners food can taste delicious if it is heartwarming. K-On does it perfectly.
The art blew my mind. I have always been.bias towards modern anime due to assumption of netter art. Tip #1 DO NOT I swear DO NOT
...
judge the anime based on the poster because turtles and tortoises, it was beautiful. There was no sign of poor quality and it destroys a few anime in 2015.
The music was mind blowing. It is an anime about music and it shook my heart. I was never a big fan of music in any genre but laced with brilliant storytelling, the music came to life.
The characters were unique in every way. There's no usage of cliche characters but common personality. they each have a stake in the anime, spoke a certain tale and were all.lovable. You know an anime is good when you look all.the characters including the sides
Here comes the score that matters which is my enjoyment. It xontribues directly to the overall score of the anime which should be done across the board. I have words but j cannot speak it. It is sad, you will tear up but you will love the process. You lose something which is your love. I really liked this anime and it has just this brillant ambience to it that makes you feel.humane again. If you are looking for something to fill in the empty space in your heart, why not pick this up and give it a try?

Hi, I had just finished watching Charlotte and let me tell you, it is a masterpiece.
Please excuse my linguistic errors as I will not bother to proof read it.
Firstly, I will not judge the art and music that much as they do form supporting components of the anime but I valued other aspects way more.
Understand that there might be spoilers so I will keep it to the minimum
Also understand that my review is to pave a path for those who are dubious it they should watch the anime.
The anime is fantastic is firstly because of characters. The characters is the most definitive part of Charlotte.
...
There was no useless characters that come in as fillers but everyone who is included had a part to play. This brings me to the heroine who goes by Tomori. Personally, I prefer female characters who are unique and are irreplecable towards the series.. Tomori is such character who knows what she wants, no bull-shit and has a unique personality that can be what you call a personality but not my definitive categories like Tsundere or Yandere.
The story was not 100% flawless but it is definitely in the mid 90s. There were certain plotholes but we are all humans. However, what I admire most about the story is the pacing. Things were added because there were a reason to it which is effective in telling the story. As this is anime is more towards the supernatural, certain things like "what they didn't do that" is pretty hard to cover. But did the anime tell a story and a good one at it? yes.
Lastly, the most important part is the enjoyment which in my opinion should be the only evaluative criteria for the overall aspect of the anime. Enjoyment is what one person perceive the anime, no other. The art, music, story and character are mainly jigsaw puzzle pieces to create this image that will connect and appeal to the audiences. Some people enjoy anime that other people don't which is perfectly understandable because we live different lives and breathe different air. Forgoing the other aspect, was Charlotte enjoyable? Yes.
If you read till here, you probably feel that I do not makes sense. We may share certain similarities and if you like the genres and maybe a twinkle of romance. If you feel this way, I recommend you to watch it.
