Once again, I admit that I am pleasantly surprised at this anime.
I began watching this (a long time ago) solely for the "guilty pleasure" that I was informed that this anime contained. No doubt that it did have some soft porn/semi-hentai scenes but that was not what Yosuga no Sora was really about.
The story revolves around Haruka and to a lesser extent his twin sister Sora. They have -as you no doubt know- have just moved to a new countryside after their parents' death. This anime has several arcs - where each arc begins from a "save point" then allows the story to go to
...
a completely different route than that of the previous. I am in the depths of despair as to which arc was best.... yet deep down I know that Sora's (the final was definitely the best and "true ending" of this anime)
I will not trouble the reader or myself by writing a long, verbose review about how great this anime was. Instead I will say that it definitely explores more themes (incest, orphan hood etc.) than soft porn and "semi-hentai."
Overall: this was a really good anime, it puts to question many of the morals accepted by society. And for that reason, I would only advise you to watch it if you are sure that it cannot disrupt your incestuous views. As for myself; I shall bury all traces of this anime in the think blanket of oblivion.

Gotta admit it: This show caught me off guard.
After reading the title (which is very misleading for some reason) I did not want to watch the anime, and the weird negative reviews did not help at all. The show is not about a pervert who met a 'bunny girl' in the library and keeps dreaming about her. No it is not. And since I cannot describe this in one sentence, I will describe it in two parts.
Background: The main character finds a girl dressed up as a bunny in the library and she is apparently not visible to anyone there. So he befriends her and
...
falls in love with her.
Main plot: He knows that the 'Puberty Syndrome' (which I cannot find enough words to describe) is real, so he tries to figures out why other people cannot see the bunny girl. He then comes across a lot of problems to do with the "Puberty Syndrome" and while he is figuring their different causes his relationship with the 'bunny girl' is blooming.
________________Story__________________
Honestly the story is impressive. Other than the fact that the "Puberty Syndrome" sounds a lot like the case of Fuu in Clannad, it is pretty much original. The story develops very well- oh and it is a perfect blend between regular romance and the physics lessons taught by Futaba in most episodes. It is pretty much perfect (except for the tease at the end.)
Since I pretty much described the plot in my introduction, I shall now go on to describe the characters that make up this astonishingly good story.
_________________Characters_____________
The main character(Sakuta) certainly deserves a shout out. He is literally the perfect anime MC material, here are a few reasons why:
-He is not dense and can guess people's feeling s quite well. (thankfully!)
-He knows how to reject a girl (without stammering or making a harem out of it)
-He is slightly perverted (for example he does not peek at girls while change but says stuff like "it excites me when I know that there is only a door between me and a naked girl.")
-He is laconic [does not betray emotion]
The other characters are are also unique in their different ways, for instance the "bunny girl" has a semi-tsundere personality (she still stays violent even after confessing, and can express her feelings easier than most tsunderes) she is like a mixture of half a tsundere and the perfect wife material.
The little sister us also a blend between incest and normal. It is quite difficult to understand her as *spoiler* she changes frequently over the course of this anime.
______________Enjoyment___________
This was epic. I know most of the theories don't make sense, but this is anime. If you want to enjoy it then you have to accept the anime logic. The laconical, insensitive, personality of the main character had me smiling most of the time. The one-sided, boderline, incestuous relationship was also cute to watch. Definitely scores high on the enjoyment factor.
___________Overall_______
9/10. It is a goo anime but it definitely has its own bad points.Would recommend this to anyone who is interested in unique kind of rom-coms.
*extra factor: response to some of the popular criticism
"The main character is not likeable. Just some kid trying to act smart"
First of all, whether he is likeable or not depends on the person who wants to like him. I like him. Several people watching the anime like him. You don't get to force your opinion down other peoples throats and say blatantly that 'he is not likeable.' Next how is he '
trying to be smart?'Every time he is faced by the "Puberty Syndrome" he basically gets up and asks his genius friend Futaba. So according to your pointless logic, anybody who asks other people and forms conclusions based on experiments is 'trying to be smart.' If thats the case, Einstein, Stephen Hawking and all other acknowledged geniuses were all 'trying to be smart.'
"The thought process/ logic is weird and all fake."
If you start watching romance anime to test how true the logic is, then know this straight: you have a problem. The anime logic is something that has puzzled many people over the years. It is in no way trying to be realistic- in fact you have that "supernatural" tag there for a reason. So if you don't like the logic of this anime, it is quite simple to leave - you don't have to watch it.
Thanks for reading and all feedback (positive and negative) is greatly appreciated.

I am angry, furious, pissed off- call it whatever you want.
First and foremost, I spent 4 hours of my precious life (approx 20 mins per ep for 12 eps) watching a perfectly useless anime.
Ok I take back the last three words of my previous sentence, for I will try to review this anime as fairly as possible and let the viewer decide on how useful it was.
__________________Story_______________________
A delinquent-looking guy (not gonna point how cliched that is) suffers because of his looks when he enrolls into Hakureiryou school. Call that a story? I call it a piece of junk that does not have a single
...
aspect of originality in it.
Speaking of originality; it is almost as if the writer just stole a bunch of cliched ideas and bunched them together to form this anime.
There is the "fall down and grab boobs" cliche (I swear to god that this was repeated at least twice in every episode.)
Then there is the "clumsy girl falls on MC [in awkward position]" cliche which happened about 6 times in the whole anime.
There is also the "drunk guy/girl who tries to harass (sexually) someone from the other sex then wakes up and forgets" cliche ( though to be honest it only happened once.)
Jeez a random seven year old child could has a better imagination!
Anyways, then t here is the regular hot spring episode and the list of these copied scenes go on and on.
________________Characters ________________________
I was not exaggerating when I mentioned that the story does not have an aspect of originality in it, well the same goes for the characters. There is the violent, large-breasted, tsundere girl. Then there is the childhood friend who takes pleasure in tormenting the protagonist characater.
Dear me! I almost forgot that even the main character is of the "dense, delinquent-looking but actually nice" stereotypical main character.
Out of the minors there is the clumsy girl, the foreign girl, the loli girl, and that list also goes on and on.
_________________Fan service________
Honestly this subtopic is probably what pissed me the most about this anime. Virtually every 40 seconds, a panty shot is shown out of nowhere. I am honestly not the biggest ecchi fan but I still believe in doing this in moderation. Another problem is this anime's obsession with showing the changing girls. Like there is no damn conversation going on, no damn thoughts, no important places, so why bother showing them??? Just to kill time because the plot does not provide enough material to do otherwise.
I need not to point out that the amount of nudity shown is insane. Like there is a race and out of nowhere a girl starts stripping with the excuse that "sometime it feels like the clothes want to be off." Another scene where useless nudity is shown is where a girl wishes to express her feelings towards the main character so she ties him to the bed and climbs on him naked.
It is useless- no amount of fan service can hnde the fact that the plot is to weak to support more than three episodes at maximum.
_________________Enjoyment___________________
The comedy was horrible. Actually it was not so bad in the first three episodes but from there on it kept descending. The enjoyment factor is probably what score this anime the most- it has a lot of fan service. A lot of (in my opinion) useless fan service. So ecchi fans if you are interested in seeing a guy grope a girl's breast or watching girls change please go on. But I'd be lying if I said there was not a bit of guilty pleasure while watching this.

Should you watch it? That is your choice to make, I have already stated most negative aspects of this above.
As for my choice, I choose to thank all those who voted "helpful" and "not helpful" to this review. Thank you immensely for your feedback.

Four times during the past two months, I have picked up my keyboard, made my coffee, and logged unto MAL to write a review on Kaichou wa Maid-sama. And again, four times I have put away the keyboard, poured out the coffee and applied alt+f4 to the website in hopes of another season coming out and then I would review both at the same time.
However, I have resolved this time not to throw away anything or give any more introductions, but to start this review immediately.
The plot is pretty much as described: A 'demonic' president of a previously all boys school works as a maid
...
for a part time job. However one day a guy from her school finds out her secret.... and the old story continues. I need not to mentioned that this is an extremely old anime plot (but since the anime it self is almost 10 years old it kinda makes sense) and is in no way original.
Next up is the pacing; to put it bluntly it is horrible. The first six episodes show how Usui's affection develops. Then the next nineteen waste your time- showing rivals and eliminating them really quickly etc. Then suddenly {spoiler} in the last episode the heroines' affection is shown.
Nevertheless, I would be lying if I said I did not enjoy it though, for despite its being old, the story is an amusing one.
Art and sound are not really worth mentioning- not surprisingly excellent and not painfully terrible.
Just like the story, there is probably nothing new about the characters - but I will try to quickly
describe some of them and leave it for you to judge their originality.
Usui Takumi- He is so perfect that I sometimes find it irritating. (I know it is weird but there is no point in watching an anime where the MC is perfect.)
Ayuzawa Misaki- Even the word 'tsundere' feels somewhat wrong to use for this girl. She is violent (with boys), and she is not exactly clear about her feelings. So yeah: sexist, tsundere.
Hyoudou Aoi- This character is not really shown in the show well enough. It is like he is there to fill up th episode time and has no significant role in Maid-sama whatsoever.
Next up are the three guys (whose names I dismember)- they are bullies in the earlier part of the show and then become semi-perverts (the word semi is only out of politeness) in the latter part.
So much for anyone who wishes to argue about the character's originality.
Now anybody reading this might come to the erroneous conclusion that I did not enjoy this anime. I did. I enjoyed it immensely. The beautiful ending that ruins a lot of anime's is probably what saved this one. The ending is so satisfying that if I did not fill a sense of injustice in doing so I would have rated this a ten.
Should you watch it? Definitely. It is not the best out there, but I promise you will not regret it.
Now I will pour out my coffee for it has cooled down, but instead of closing this website, I shall go and add 'Kaichou wa Maid-sama' manga to my "Plan to read" list for there is almost no hope of a season 2...

"It is an ecchi, incest, disgusting harem anime."
The above statement is what you get from reading the synopsis and for that reason I have come up with my own.
A girl with a 'brother complex' (note the quotation mark) finally meets her brother after 6 years. Despite his kind nature he does not seem to reciprocate her feelings. However she is not only the person who is involve with him- in fact the whole student council is. Things are even more complicated when his editor (as he is an incest {yep, incest writer} begins to wonder if he has a sister complex.
Ok, now that I have
...
mentioned what this is about, I will now go on to review the various aspects of this series.
Story 7/10.
My biggest problem with this plot is probably that it is very predictable. Just by watching the actions of the characters, you can easily tell what is going to happen at the end of the show. Another problem is that it lacks in originality- if you look at this story well, you would find that a lot of anime's have almost the same plot. In spite of all its negativity, this story is well plotted, well structured and the characters action actually matches their backstory.Oh one more thing: It has an extremely predictable (to me) plot twist.
Art 6/10.
I am not really into judging arts, but I have not seen anything that was horrible or extremely good in this anime.
Characters 7/10.
Just like the story, the characters lack originality- There is the really hot and horny one, the tsundere type one, the shy but helpful one, and lastly the childish but loving one. They all sound familiar, am I correct?
Despite this lack of originality, all of the characters are humorous in their own different ways- they all try their best to make their loved one happy. In addition to all of this, the characters actions match perfectly with their backstory- I am excluding the student council president as her backstory is untold.
Enjoyment 7/10.
When it comes to this aspect, I am a hard one to please. I had already foreseen the ending from the second episode, so I can't really say that I had as much enjoyment as one who did not. Nevertheless, the comedy in this show was great- it had me cracking many times. Also most of the characters -especially the main one- are really enjoyable.
Overall 7/10.
I would give this anime the score above, because that is what it truly deserves. I actually planned to give it less, but after reviewing my score to most of the other aspects I found that a seven would be by far the most suiting.

[Before you read this review, I just want to make this clear: I am new to the anime community]
"It is a stereotypical eechi harem anime."
That is probably the biggest criticism 'Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?' gets. Sadly, this critical statement is not even true- which stereotypical harem ends up with four different kind of fetishes?
Story 8/10
The story is quite unique- the idea of the main character meeting four different girls whose fetishes are attracted to him is certainly original. However after a few episodes of the same pattern, you can predict what happens in the next episodes. (E.g in the first 2
...
episodes a girl with a particular fetish took a liking to him, in the next to episodes ANOTHER girl with ANOTHER fetish takes a liking to him.
Then, obviously in the next two the same thing will happen!)
Art 6/10
I am not really into judging anime or manga arts, but as far as I am concerned there was nothing painful to look at, or exceedingly wonderful in this series.
Sound 5/10
I am even into judging sounds less than I am in art, so I gave it an average score.
Character 7/10
I really cannot say that the characters change at all. In fact, the first scene could have been replace with the last scene and would still fit well enough. Despite this, most characters are likeable- I mean the characters and not the fetishes- as they all have their own different ways to get what they desire the most. Sadly, (spoiler warning) the only character without any visible fetish his sister, was rejected at the end of the series.
Enjoyment 8/10
Enjoyment totally depends on opinion. The comedy side of this was quite high to be honest- perhaps the helplessness of the main character was the most humorous (I am not entirely sure). If you are into incest, harem, ecchi, and having females bossing you then you might want to give this anime a shot- it has got all of the above. Trust me.
Overall 8/10
I give this an 8/10 because of its unique story, characters and jokes. Honestly, if you don't watch the anime the you don't get what is so great about it.
