One Punch Man is excellent and I hear ya about marathoning the show, I remember doing that to season 1 of Sword Art Online, watched all 25 episodes in a single day! I'm eagerly awaiting Season 2 of One Punch Man myself, not sure on when that plans on airing. The OVA's weren't anything amazing just some weird humor and see more of the characters. In the mean time slowly collecting volumes of the manga.

One Punch Man was really good! I think you'll get a kick out of it.

Ah I see you watched the Steins;Gate movie! I just got it in the mail the other day. APM and I are planning on watching it sometime here pretty soon.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it so far! Watched the entire first disc already! Its very similar to the manga. I've read (I think) 6 volumes of it; though I'm not sure how many there are in total.

Hey! Glad to see you've started up Steins Gate! That is my second favorite anime, behind Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It takes most of the series for the story to come all the way together, but it does it in such a great way! I've watched through the series twice now; and the second viewing was just as good as the first!

Thanks for letting me borrow Ghost in the Shell! It'll be the first anime series I've watched in a while.
I finished the movie last night; I honestly didn't care a whole lot for it as it left WAYY to much open for me. I understand that a movie often does this so I kind of expected it.
I started the Stand Alone Complex series this morning. I'll try to get in at least a couple episodes a day!

Akira is one of those Animation classics you hear a lot about and if you read into the series you realize its based on a manga series of the same name. At the time the manga wasn't finished and this is based on roughly the first two volumes (and there rather sizeable volumes). Many anime series leave out tons of details from the manga as they wouldn't fit into the pacing of the show (unless they extended it). I contemplated on my score and lowered it down to a 7. The animation for 1988 is unreal, the animation quality is amazing. As for the story itself, I'll admit it's a butchered version of the manga (at the time an unfinished manga) but it's historical significance to the anime industry is well deserved.

My plan is to attempt to watch every single episode, it's gonna definitely be a slow journey though. Just moved into the new place and be a couple weeks before internet is set up. Afterwards though will continue my journey

How is Chi's Sweet Home? I recalled seeing the manga book last time I was at Barnes and Noble and figure its a cutesy type series. The episodes particularly long?
Gotta meet up one day and I can show you my anime collection in person to give you some ideas on series you can check out (or avoid)
