With the beginning of winter 2024, we have quite a few adaptations. Most of them are successful at it, which Mato Seihei no Slave could not be counted in.
As a manga reader, Seven Arcs FAILED or decided not to use the mangaka's art style for the adaptation. This ruined the series from the beginning when the director made this decision. By any means, the art style is not bad, but you could say it tried to mimic that of a 2000s style, but in my opinion, does not go well with this series.
The ecchi scenes are way more "mwehehe" in the manga

Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru is a great example of an excellent manga with a bullshit adaptation.
As a manga reader, I find this adaptation rather disappointing. It failed to make the first impression for non-manga readers on the first-ever episode and did not improve that reputation throughout the next two episodes. You could call this the knockoff version of Kaguya-sama with all the comedy (?) that was poorly "translated" from the manga to the anime. I might have let my expectations go too high for an unpopular manga drawn and written by an ex-hentai artist. So, for those with ...

Mato Seihei no Slave is basically a hentai disguised as an action manga, but don't get me wrong, the fighting scene are as cool as those sub-sex scenes. Women in the manga are a bunch of mommies, and the MC is one hell of a sigma. Fan service: 9/10; It's sex but without the central part.
