Both are about players who have been put into a world where they once enjoyed gaming in. Btooom is more brutal, realistic, and much, much darker while SAO is very light-hearted and more in a fantasy genre.

Both are about a smart guy who is protected by girls who know martial arts and both are harem-Ecchi-comedy-actions.Both male MCs are usually cold to the girls but the diffrences is that in Maji de Watashi ni koi shinasai! The male MC is a little perverted but try's to fight even though he cannot do much,while in Sumomomo momomo the main guy just avoids violence.

Both are about a powerless guy who is protected by superpowered girls,and both are Harem-Action-Ecchi.Differences are in Sekirei the girls are who's being targeted while in Sumomomo momomo it's the guy,also the Male main Charcthers are almost opposites,In Sekirei he is trying to protect the girls even though he can hardly do anything and attacks obstacles head on while in Sumomomo momomo the main guy hides behind the girls and try's to weasel himself out of everything.

Both are shounens that surprisingly have emotion.Both are regular worlds but with a supernatural twist that draws the charcthers together.Both focus around one of the stronger and uniqer groups of a larger organization.

...then you might like Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. add

Both are about a group of childhood friends who lost one member(In Myself;Yourself he moved while in Ano Hana he died),and now they have returned and reunited with their friends only to find they have changed and both are drama-romances.Ano Hana has a supernatural twist while Myself;Yourself is much more dark.

Both start out very light hearted school based romances with lots of drama which quickly turn much more dark,and both have simlar art and have a clueless male lead(In Myself;Yourself he just isn't told what is happening but in School days he just is oblivious to everything).Differences are Myself;Yourself isn't a harem and actually has likeable charcthers.

Both have a strong female lead who has to protect the male lead because in both series they are trying to be killed.Both have some Horror and Action, and both can be very dark and bloody.

Both main charcthers are women who have suddenly acquired a supernatural ability that helps them with their job,which is killing, and the male leads in both series are pretty much useless.Both have action in them that usually is with the main charcther having to fight against a large group,and both can be dark but where Canaan is only dark a minority of the time,Claymore is dark pretty much the whole series with nothing to lighten up the mood.

Both on the surface look like typical harems mixed with ecchi,but it's suprinsgly much different than that, because both series have alot of unexpected action.Both have a main Charcther is a skilled swordsman and is suddenly introduced into a new environment which he must adapt to.Both main heroines are very powerful(In Asu no Yoichi! in strength, while in Princess Lover! in status).There are many more similarities,as in events and the antagonists,but I don't want to accidentally write any spoilers.

Both are about a guy who has a random meeting with a very knowledgeable female lead.Both Are set in older times and both series really on focuses on the couple.Also both relationships in both series seems similar.

...then you might like Ladies versus Butlers! add

Both have unexperienced butlers-master relationships and both are harem romantic comedies with some ecchi.Their is really no main story until the end of both series because up until then it's mostly the main charcther serving or focusing on different girls.

...then you might like Hyouka add

Both are about child detectives that for the most part only solve mysteries when persuaded.In Hyouka the Main Charcther is the detective while in Gosick the Main Charcther meets the detective and is the one who persuades who to solve mysteries while in Hyouka it's the opposite where the Main Charcther is persuaded by the female lead.Both are very enjoyable and can make you think but in Gosick it's much darker were as Hyouka is mostly every day mysteries.

...then you might like Elfen Lied add

Both are stories about a guy that moves to a new place then suddenly finds a girl who has little knowledge and can only say one word and he names them the one word they can say.Both also have ecchi and both female leads has a dark past an have lost their memories.Both have some romance,but Chobits seems to focus more on the romance where Elfen lied has mostly horror.But unlike Elfen lied,Chobits is much more slow paced and can be harder to watch in one sitting.

Both are thrillers about a guy who shuts himself up in his room and has hallucinations.In both the main charcther is slowly getting used to the real world with the help or women for the most part and both main charcthers have these hallucinations for the whole series and both shows can be creepy at times but for the majority they are both very enjoyable. Welcome to the NHK is more of a spice of life drama where as Chaos;head seems the same at first with a little horror quickly turns into a supernatural action.

Both main masters look similar and their personalities are almost the same.Both are romantic comedies but they are my noble masters is a harem so it doesn't quite focus on the romance.

Both are action shows with a lot of government involvement and super humans. Also, both have human experimentation in them, but Canaan is a seinen whereas FMA:B is a shounen.

Both have near to no story at the beginning but develops into one(torradora does a much better job)and Ookami-San has many references to torradora and their are many similar characters. Torradora has alot of romance while Ookami-San has alot of comedy and parities.

Both are about a group of students who help others and for the most part the whole series is random student encounters but developes a plot in the later episodes.

Both female leads are extremely perverted and the school they go to is most to all girls,both are hilarious comedies and both don't follow a plot.

Both male MCs are average non-perverted guys while the female leads are aggressive towards the male Charcthers for perverted reasons.B Gata h kei has more romance while Seitokai Yakuindomo has a lot more comedy.

Both female lead presidents drag the male MC into the student council and both presidents have high approval rates and suggestion boxes(more of a main theme in medeka box),Both also don't seem to follow a plot but in Medeka box it somewhat gains one near the end,and both are comedies.

Both Are female presidents in a School that has recently became co-ed and both are trying to integrate the newly intergrated sex and make them feel even,maid sama has a romantic story while the other is just a plotless comedy.

Both are about deitys who one day appear in the MCs life and both MCs have a supernatural past and both series have some action in them.

Both are about gods/deitys that is suddenly thrown into modern times where as they were isolated before and both are romances.Tayutama Is more of a action while Spice and wolf is more informational.

Both have beautiful art and are about seemingly normal girls but have more supernatural things going on in their lives then meets the eye. In Toki wo kakeru shoujo the girl is aware of the supernatural aspect of her life while in Black Rock Shooter she has no idea about.Both supernatural aspects of the girls affects others memories around them.Black Rock Shooter is more of a action/drama while Toki wo kakeru shoujo is a ScyFy/drama.

Both shows have the common theme of service in them(Body guards and Maids).Both are romantic comedies where the Charcthers have a secret they must keep hidden.In both series both male leads annoy the female lead with constantly following her around and both have a variety of different art they fit into each episode.Other than that they are quite different.In inu x boku they female lead is from a rich family while in maid sama she's from a poor family.But Inu x boku has a suprinsgly fun twist where as maid sama is a regular setting.
