If you are a normal person the show will probably affect you but after watching way too much anime, hentai and reading Doujins, this anime does not phase me. I can separate fiction from reality, If you cannot do that, this show is definitely not for you, even though I do like this show I do think It was excessive with it's nudity, very unnecessary to telling the story itself and maybe less of that would have made it more appealing to other people but anime is all about niches so it doesn't need to appeal to you.

every scene in the first 4 episodes was animated well, for some reason Paul looked ugly in every scene he was in, maybe to depict how scummy he is, but Rudeus was animated well so that falls flat, the show did start to get a little bad with the animation towards the second half, directing as well, In a scene in episode 10, Rudy is having a discussion with some guild members whilst Eris is doing something else, They try do do one of the simplest camera tricks but fail at it, Eris is supposed to be the closest to the viewer but what she's doing is minimal so she gets blurred, the focus shifting to what's important, Rudy and the adventurers. This scene would have worked fine if the background wasn't too detailed and blending in with the characters, I had to re-watch the same scene 3 times just to make sure. The bare bones architecture of the last city they're in whic I reallly love beacuse It's not a medival setting. should have given the production team breathing room BUT NOOOOO the animation worsened, and the quality dropped. I was hoping the show would stay consistent but the second half felt like a cookie cutter version of the first half, didn't even think it was the same show. The grooming and pedophilia was a lot with this one, I found it funny until a 40 year old man was trying to slip his fingers somewhere and I was annoyed, I didn't need to see this, it was unnecessary but It didn't remove my complete enjoyment of the show, most scenes were still funny to me. The other problem I had with the show was it moving from the slice of life isekai to a more action adventure type Isekai, Sure I didn't hate it but I enjoyed the more slice of life moments more and I wanted to go back, the first 8 episodes were supposed to get us invested in the main players of the story and they did that really well. For this story to work well, I don't think the perverted scenes were needed, you could skip them and still get the same content. Rudy's main conflicts are really well done and for a second it looks like it might go somewhere with it but then you remember this is an isekai show that supposedly started the genre itself. I say supposed because I think The familiar of Zero started it. I actually still like that show even today. It has my favorite Tsundere in anime.
I enjoyed this show because it has dots that connect us from one moment to the other and little bits of information that add to the story and make it seem thought out, like how Rudeus learns of Sperds, red haire beast peole with red gems on heir foreheads, who he then meets later on or how Rudeus gets a pendant from Roxy and it ends up helping them in a dire situation. Sometimes I do agree its too convenient, like when Rudeus learns how to speak Beast Language then in the next part he goes to a beast city. I just appreciate this aspect more because in most isekai the writers do not care for the small details, it's usually larger details.
This show doesn't have the most original concepts for characters, they really are sorta predictable but in a way that sorta helped me enjoy the show more, because I rely too much on my past experiences with isekai I always think I'll get something then I get something else, like how I thought Eris would be the same old boring Tsundere archetype and sure she was but it sorta makes sense with her character and she doesn't even stay a tsundere to the main character for that long, she has a horrible encounter with him and he saves her so she sorta decides she would be nicer to him, her history so far checks out, she's rich so she comes off as spoiled, she yells a lot because she's around a grandfather who does. This ties back in with what I said about how things sorta fall into place in this show, it really feels like the author thought up the story carefully. Although I did praise Eris, Sylphette was sort of disappointing, from the moment I saw her I knew she would be a girl but I was hoping the show would surprise me with her character and somehow actually have her stay as a shy boy character that becomes friends with the protagonist. Nope, and I can't even defend her somewhat boring character, I cannot think of her character and feel anything other than aww cute green haired Loli. Seriously, Rudeus wants to literally groom her, that's the most interesting thing about her character, getting groomed by some degenerate pervert. Ha life is not going well. Roxie was pretty interesting in the beginning and I liked her, she helps our main character get past his fear of venturing outside, sure it gets resolved pretty quick but that fear he felt, I felt and I also really liked this scene where Roxy is giving Rudeus the final exam, I felt like their bond had somehow grown and I liked that. TOO BAD her character becomes the subject of SA from an ugly Rudeus basically. Like seriously does every scene we see her in have to be with this ugly dude? Eh.
Paul is like the worst person in this show, he legit R words his wife, sis how you did get together with him? Yea yea I know they live in a different world so out rules don't apply there but I don't need to just ignore everything, I liked Paul and thought he was a general thoughtful and over sexual dude who loved his family, that bit of information about him R wording his wife cut me off from him. He also sleeps around a lot, did I mention he cheats on his wife with their maid? She said she seduced him but that doesn't mean he was right in doing so. this scene was. kinda funny and I liked how Rudeus was too scared to say a word, until he realized he had to. I fucking laughed when i found out, I can't. Anyways Lilia and The maid give birth to 2 girls who are both ready cute, when the lolis grow up , he's gonna need an extra supply's and I already see him trying to ask favours from the maid's daughter cuz she's gonna be like "Goshujin Sama" and imma be like I called it.
Now we can finally talk about Rudeus. Ok. I like Rudeus as a character, he has not been outside for many years so he doesn't know how to interact with people, yeas yeas I know nearly every isekai has a neet as the protagonist, the thing is the author doesn't try to explore what that does to a person psychologically, sure it's not as good as NHK in this aspect but compared to other isekai it's really doing something with this, Rudeus has a fear of going outside which really made me feel fear and pity for him, things that connect you to characters, I liked this scene and I really did enjoy it, I do wish this whole trauma was given some time to breathe, maybe give a little struggle to show us that he can't go outside, let him refuse to go out twice then finally solving the issue, not resolving it in like 3 minutes.
Another thing I found fascinating was how he gets freaked out by things, be it bullying, killing people and the thought of killing someone, these things really humanized his character, he also really cares for the people in his life mostly girls, because... it's Isekai. I found it refreshing to have an isekai protagonist have negative personality traits, have moral quandaries and is actually affected by things that happen in the world, you know, instead of the good boy helps people, basic Kirito ripoff who gets a Harem for breathing. Rudeus also doesn't have a large scale goal and I loved that, I love goal oriented characters, I love characters who work hard towards a goal, thee ules largely apply to shounen because a protagonist without a goal is hard to root for, Rudeus does goals but they are small in size and work really well with the story being told, he is just a man who gets reincarnated and tries to live his life in the best way possible and that's cool. his mini goals are personal to him and him only, goals like "save the world" or "defeat demon lord" tend to fall flat and become boring because no one cares about the world, we don't know why the protagonist wants to save the world, because they're nice? Yeah I don't care, it's much easier to understand, "I love my loli so I wanna take her back home" than "save world." It wouldn't work either because his character is sorta selfish and isn't perfect. Overall I love Rudeus and this side of him.
Now I can finally discuss His other side, If this show followed through with repercussions to Rudeus's actions like they do with the other stuff, this show would've mad me love it more, too bad they don't. Rudeus is extremely perverted and I find it really funny actually, like the maid finding Roxie's underwear or him wearing underwear on his face, him just being an observer of dumb shit. It's funny Until he starts actually groping people. like seriously dude. the only thing he gets as a punishent is a slap and that's it, how about Eris reporting this to her father? or Is this also normal in their world? to just let people grope you? I really wish this show would've stayed with realistic element till the end. I don't particularly find it amusing when he does touchy stuff, Yea sure you can have inner thoughts about your perversions, you can steal panties from people for comedic effect but the touching is not needed. I wanna watch an anime not a hentai bro.
Anyways, ignoring the touchy stuff the rest is pretty funny, Mostly because the voice actor who plays his inner monologue is really good, the expressions he makes just fit with the voice, I found the inner monologue a huge plus in this show and taking that away would've dulled the whole experience.
My favorite scenes in no particular order would have to be:
Rudeus tasting his mother's breast milk but not getting excited because it's his mother, oh look, some morals. Rudeus refusing to go outside but Roxy persuades him to, Rudeus getting slapped by his father, because parenthood actually exists in this show. Rudeus using Columbus? Cumulonimbus I find Rudeus and Paul's interactions very funny and sometimes even warm, sure they are both perverts but when they are communicating, or hanging out together I laugh. The scene of Rudeus meeting Eris, that shit was way too funny, So he understood the power of equality. Rudeus and Eris Getting kidnapped, Rudeus teaching Eris and beast girl how to do maths, Eris and the maids planning Rudeus's birthday, Rudeus and Eris's dance sequence.
This show isn't the best Isekai I have watched but the enjoyment factor was really high for me
Objectively I think it's just a 7/10 my enjoyment was an 8.5 so that's something. This was a great binging experience and If you don't mind the loli shit in this show as much then I would highly recommend.

I loved the first season of Naruto with my very heart and it will go down as one of my favorite anime of all time, Many people say Naruto starts to get bad in after the pain arc, I can't say I liked it that much even before the pain arc. I love the pain arc itself though. But the thing is, Once I started, no matter how bad Naruto got, I couldn't let it go, I wanted to get the same feelings I got watching the first Naruto, I wanted to see them as children again I wanted to see Rock lee, Gaara, Neji

and all the characters Kishimoto had built up again, and sadly to say, It never became as good as season 1, however when I finished it, It felt like one of the greatest feelings, Looking back and seeing all the stories finally conclude, Naruto, the sad boy swinging on a swing alone finally got his wish, to be accepted by the village, It felt like a journey and one I was glad to have been a part of.
And then comes Boruto... I honestly was pretty excited for Boruto because I saw the Kawaki and Boruto image and that had been the only thing that kept me interested, Boruto didn't have the best start, and I'mnot even sure if it has actually started... The thing is for Boruto to be good and develop it's own Ideas, Boruto has to destroy the conclusion we came to in Naruto I don't want that but I can't stop them from making the show, its not my place, I just wanted Boruto to be another Naruto but done better, honestly, I also wanted to see the characters I had come to know and love with their children, I tried to care for Boruto and his generation but I find it really hard. I think Boruto is sort of like our generation, we sort of have it a lot easier than previous generations. What made naruto fun and interesting was how everyone had a past. it's kinda hard to give the kids in Boruto something like than so they just suffer with regular issues that people in real life suffer with. If Boruto was another show, It might have succeed but because it is connected to the dark and gritty Naruto, it will look like child's play in comparison to what their parents had to go through and their issues become sort of diminished, even though they are real issues people actually deal with. Take for example, Naruto didn't have a father and found it really hard not having anyone in his life, Boruto's problem is having a father who's there but is absent. Boruto's issue is one that many people face and I actually feel for him, of course other people are hating on Boruto and are calling him annoying because at least he actually has a father and even if his dad isn't always there He has someone, he has a mom and sister. and so many people already disliked Boruto from the get go. I don't like him because He has no goals or aspirations so it's actually hard to even root for him Another example is Metal lee who has anxiety, His father had to endure life without being able to use chakra but he can, his problem is now compared to his father and feels miniscule even though, Anxiety is a real thing people deal with. Naruto exegerarting real life problems worked for it and now Boruto is trying to lower those exaggerations by making it feel more grounded in reality. I don't know how to feel about this myself, actually. I can't dismiss their problems because I know people who go through shit like this but compared to Naruto they really do look whiny. ANyway, another reason I think Boruto is a problem is the fact that all the technique development characters went through in Naruto are sort of thrown out the window, You know like how Gojou is the Power ceiling and is powerful he can sort of destroy things, and he is more powerful than everyone, in Boruto those people are the main characters for Naruto. t's sorta hard to give tension in Boruto because the Naruto characters are obviously stronger than the kids in Boruto and in Naruto there were Genins and the 3rd Hokage but the thing is, Naruto could make those characters seem weaker and get away with it, In Boruto, they can't get away with it because People actually care about those powerful characters this time around, to make Boruto do something, Naruto and the others are made weaker so Boruto can do something cool I will not count how many fucking times Sasuke kept running out of CHAKRA!. The other problem I have is Boruto is slowly shifting to Sci-fi, I loved Naruto because of the cool hand signs and the fact that the world worked like ours but without the modern look, Boruto is going for a more technological era and I don't like it. I'm a fantasy Bird and I don't like sci-fi these are just the problems that stick out to meant I can't ignore there. If I were to actually criticize Boruto for real, we'd be here all day. I won't edit a 1 hour video for a mid show. Please don't tell that the manga gets good, The Kara arc ain't even that good, I doubt it can scratch the surface of the lowest Naruto arc. The writing really isn't good. the only thing that carried Boruto was the fact that it was related to Naruto and the Kawaki Vs Boruto scene, which is basically Naruto Vs Sasuke . How much do you have to rip off a show? Nearly every character in Boruto is a watered down version of Naruto characters. And I'm surprised I waited 200+ episodes to drop this. If you like Boruto cool, but let's not pretend that it's better than Fairy tail and give it a pass just because it's related to Naruto. I love dragon ball super but I don't act like the writing is good. It's really not. But I still love it. If anyone thinks Boruto is more than a 7/10 please tell me why I'm genuinely curious.

Ummmm... three words. Best. Yuri. Ever.
Yuri/shoujo-ai isn't exactly a genre that has outstanding crops like sci-fi or shounen. So we treasure the few good ones we get even if they aren't any higher than 8's I've seen almost all the Yuri shows and shoujo-ai anime material there is, I support. But I've only given exactly 1 Yuri show an 8 and It's this one, Fragtime was very close but after reading the source material, the actual movie was bare bones and felt kinda rushed. Instead of going for 1 hour, it could've gone for two like A silent voice Everyone might be thinking, well what bout bloom ... into you? I read the manga first, amazing read, in terms of manga it's an 8/10, anime wise, it's very very very very boring. I love Yuri and I've seen the entirety of the genre but Danm did this show bore me...maybe it was the pacing? I mean I can control how fast I read the manga but would rather refrain from Watching anime in X2 speed. I almost dropped it in 3 episodes because of how slow it was. For anime-only fans, I doubt they feel the same way. I mean it did start picking up again after 7 episodes. Kase San was good, great animation and music, voice acting as well but, it was too short and I did not have time to grow attached to the characters or plot, same with NTR except the music and animation kinda sucked. I won't talk about other shows unless you want me to make a separate video in which I discuss Yuri anime because Im very passionate about gay whamen in anime, moving on. Gaaaaaah. Adachi to Shimamura is greeeeeat This show is everything I want in a slow burn Yuri, it's the Yuri I didn't think I needed. This show is about two girls who skip class to play ping pong, their names are in the title haha 🤭 Adachi is the adorable girl with short blue hair (but they call it black for some reason.) Shimamura is exactly how I imagine a person who flirts without knowing it is, she's the girl with long dirty blond hair. Adachi catches feelings for Shimamura and the whole show is about how Adachi tries to navigate through life after discovering her feelings. Oh and there's an Alien? 😂 I think slow burns go two ways, you're either gonna find them boring or find them thematic and deep. Evangelion is a good example of this.I wouldn't say this show is as deep as Evangelion but this show builds the main characters especially well. can't say the same about the other side characters who I feel could have been developed. Overall a 9/10 experience because I love Yuri

Wonder egg priority is basically Black Rock Shooter with extra steps, No, seriously.
This is a show that requires you to tap into your abstract and more thoughtful side, I do not like theorizing at all, I prefer watching shows with the answer right in front of me, like skip the metaphors and tell me the answer, I know many others like theorizing so this show must have been a great one for those people, I myself did like it because most of the things in the beginning made sense, and even if it didn't, episode 8 explained everything but I'm not even gonna try and ... guess what might've happened in the last leg of the show, I was going to watch videos explaining the ending but I didn't want anything to influence my raw opinion. Wonder egg priority follows Ai Ohto, a junior high school student who is temporarily not attending school following the suicide of her close friend Koito Nagase. During a late-night walk, Ai visits a deserted arcade, where a mysterious voice guides her to a gachapon machine that dispenses a "wonder egg." I like Wonder egg because the show had me asking questions almost instantaneously, why is a bug talking to Ai? Was this a dream? why is she eating her egg raw? Is she dreaming again? why Is there a girl in the egg? So many questions I found myself asking and that's a good thing, if a mystery show doesn't have you asking questions, drop it lol, my favorite thing about episode 1 was Koiko, everything about her is sort of shrouded in mystery and she is definitely one of the many reasons I stayed. the animation being the strongest reason, this show looked amazing from the start and stays consistent till the end, The soundtrack adds some extra finesse. By setting up many mysteries and keeping me visually impressed, the first episode did a very good job of starting off the show and getting me hooked. By episode 3 a pattern was established, Ai goes to the other world, breaks the egg, fights off the egg's trauma, returns to the real world, meets a new friend, repeat, I think keeping things relatively simple and repetitive makes the new information stick out. I love how each of the 4 main girls have interesting backstories, character designs and how they each experience people's suicides differently. My favorite of the girls being Reika, specifically because of this scene: she has nice hair, an interesting past, I mean I don't think her "wallet"'s suicide is as interesting as Koiko's but she still is the most interesting personality wise, my least favorite being Neiru, I don't have much of a handle on her character and I guess her past will be shown in the OVA or something I like all of them but Basically best face is Neiru, Best outfit is Ohto, she wears a yellow hoodie and has blue hair, she just looks so good as the main character, her design stands out the most and is the most recognizable from all 4, I want dat hoodie PLEASE best character is Reika, she comes off very rowdy and uncaring but as the show continues and we know more about her, she becomes my favorite of the 4 very and I don't know I think Momoe is sort of interesting but her past is shrouded in mystery, was she the reason her friend killed herself? It's not said specifically. I would assume, but I don't want to. and I'm not sure if she's a trans girl or a girl who just likes to wear boy clothing. I mean she looks really happy when she's wearing a dress so... I don't know. Now I said Like and not 'Love' because the show didn't give me enough time to know the characters well, I wouldn't say they are great characters, but they aren't far from it, they are like 2 dimensional characters who have been half developed, the idea and concepts are there but just a bit more characterization and they would have been fantastic, I don't really think the show should be longer for this, because NO, God No Please NO maybe clarifying character stakes would make me care more, like for example, in episode 4-5 where Reika gets turned to stone, I thought they would do something smart with how she comes back from that but Nope, she just unstones herself and they fight the wonder killer (the name sounds cool btw) and that's it, in the beginning they carried injuries from the fights to the real world but by the end of the series the idea is sort of abandoned, which was kinda sad, I mean it would've better if they experimented with that and Look, the fights looked amazing but the only time I felt threat or fear was in the last 5 minutes of episode 10 and the first 3 of episode 11 when Reika and Momoe have to fight Hyphen and Dot, Bruh those thangs are scary! The rest of the time I was OHHHH NO they DiDn't. Lots of blood oooooo I'm scareddddd I think I really liked that they showed us different ways people commit suicide, from being a crazy fan, to being sexually assaulted, to being a member of a cult to being haunted by ghosts, so many angles and viewpoints. I think what sort of makes this idea boring is we get the demon slayer thing where we have been fighting a demon for like 3 episodes then in the last minute we find out what happened. in this show we find out what happened then kill then kill the wonder killer. OK cool but I did not have enough time to care, I don;t remember any of the egg girls' names. my favorite one was the gym girl, really liked her character design, I mean all of the characters have fascinating character designs and they look so cool man, I want that HOODIE Episode 8 was by far the worst episode because It was boring asf and I did not find out anything interesting from it, sure they showed us a math problem and stuff to show us that Neiru is smart which we already knew, it's cool that they reinforced the idea but it was done in the most boring way possible. Then there is supposed to be some sort of moral quandary about killing the albino girl, which can I just say she has a weak character design compared to the rest of the characters but the representation was nice, as an albino myself it was pretty cool to see, still hella boring though, Like I really did not fucking care. Episode 11 was the best episode in the whole series, we get a self contained story that doesn't explain everything, but It was still interesting. I mean I legit thought Acca and Ura Acca were husbands but turns out they weren't which was fine, I liked Frill, she has a gorgeous character design and The Acca's moral quandary regarding her was way more interesting than Neiru's and somehow frill managed to be the most interesting character in the whole show after 1 episode lmao like how does that happen? I know she was ass-pulled and got thrown in there as the last minute but antagonist ehhh she's still fun, anyway the music in this episode was eerie and when Acca's niece did the popping sound, I legit got chills. Now that's how you build a scary antagonist. The Acca's treatment towards Frill after finding out what she did was sorta inhumane and that's what made it so much fun to watch, on the right I know shes not human, she killed people and on the left I know she did it because of neglect and abandonment, which wasn't technically her fault plus she looks way too human. It was kinda uncomfortable to see one of the Accas kick her and then burn her, then lock her up Burj anyways this episode played with my emotions and I really fucking Loved it. Can't say the same for episode 12 I did not like episode 12. WHY? why was? EH? it was a confusing cluster fuck, why was Ai's last egg herself? I get it was supposed to be deep or something but Why introduce parallel universes now? I think maybe the impact of the revelation would have been larger if we had seen some semblance of this parallel universe in other worlds, also when did she change clothes? also also why did Koiko kill herself? Regardless if how anti climatic the last episode was it and many others sort of touched me in a way, when Ai asks Koiko if she regrets killing herself made me almost tear up also when Momoe is too scared to go to sleep because she's scared she'll see hyphen again really resonated with me, because for about 3 months after I had a bad dream, I would stay up till 4 when the delivery guy would be making rounds just so I wouldn't be so scared to fall asleep, I don't like thinking about that point in my life because it was scary and I think for many this show allows many people to resonate with different parts, whether it be being trans, being sexually assaulted, being a relative of a suicide victim, this show covers a broad range of topics and I'm sure everyone resonated with something. I don't think it's a masterpiece like a lot of people are saying it is but it's okay I guess. That might be because I'm stupid and maybe missed the message? This show went for a very clear message and I understood it but also went so weird that I couldn't even try to predict what would happen next. Abstract shows aren't my thing BuT I really loved UTENA ehhhhhhhh The metaphors were all about how you interpreted them, it was fun because you could make as many assumptions as you wanted and they'd sort of line up with the story. In this show I get some parts yes it's pretty obvious yet unclear at the same time. I said before it's like black rock shooter the main characters are optimistic and want friends, trying to save a girl with glasses, have fights with 3 D people in a dream world. Kids having to deal with dark issues, I think Black rock shooter somehow managed to be more dire and scary, I Idk the tone and the music is really eerie and It makes me feel uncomfortable. I mean maybe if I hadn't seen black rock shooter I might gotten that feeling from this show, also no, this is 100 times better than Black rock shooter, black rock shooter had a great start but halfway into the show I was getting bored, The OVA for BRS is great though, I recommend watching that instead of the whole 8 episode show. SO here's my score 6/10

It's too generic
I doubt any shounen can ever be original, they can try but it'd probably be really hard trign to get new readers to read ur work. But like seriously it's not that hard being original. You just risk people not liking you story. People developed a connection with shounen tropes and always want to see those tropes repeated but the same people also want something new. You can't have both. Jujutsu Kaisen is a classic example of this. Everything it does has already been done before. A boy who is half of whatever an organisation is fighting against. Check A school of some sort because ... why not? Check A boy who wants to help others and has a strong sense of justice. Check A character that dies in episode 1 but contributes to the character motivation even though they only stay for one episode? Check An interrupted tournament arc. Check Lots of side characters that have one defining characteristic? Check check check check An overpowered sensei that acts like a goof ball? Big check A poorly defined power system so the characters have excuses to do cool shit? Big check Lots of cool sounding women on paper but never actually do shit? Check again Characters getting powers without doing anything to earn them? Some cool edgy shit to make the anime look mature? Check Pretentious dialogue to make the characters sound smarter than they actually are? Check Some good animation to hide the fact that characters just talk and do nothing outside of fights? CHECKKKKKKKKK You get my point, this show is hella generic but Eh.... that's perfectly fine, Slice of life anime is one of my favorite genres and the shows in that genre just repeat shit all the time, I still love watching it. But the thing is Jujutsu Kaisen fans try to make the show seem smarter than other shows in the same genre or demographic, It's literally just like every other shounen with good animation and a slice of edginess... Well, Even though it is generic I do think this show does some things really well, Demon inside boy is an overused trope, but my man Sukuna is definitely one of my favorites, and even though domain expansions are territories and Fate reality marbles, They are cool af, because they are still relatively new and haven't been overused yet. The Soundtrack for this show is definitely good. Albeit not as good to be in my top 20 soundtracks but it's up there. The animation is good but not great I guess. It's sorta inconsistent, but the moments they do get it right, It's amazing. That's where my praises end. This show is kinda Boring. Look, being generic doesn't mean you can be boring too, The characters that get introduced into the plot, and become a part of the story without actually having a proper introductions, this makes it sort of hard to build tension since no one cares about the characters in the first place. I sorta applaud older shounens for introducing important characters episodically because it helped ground their character with the viewer and the characters that didn't get introduced, were background characters until they were necessary, In Jujutsu Kaisen you could say that's the case but Whereas those other shounens left out some characters out of the action, and flesh out the ones in the action, Jujutsu Kaisen, introduces Characters then leaves all of them alone without development, Introduces more characters then leaves the ones it had just introduced. It happens throughout the whole show. You could say the Exchange event fleshed out characters but that basic characterization that happened in the arc was what we were supposed to get when we met the characters. It's not like it was proper characterization either, most of it happened with a backstory, Todou and Hanami are the only characters that feel like characters to me now, It's not like the backstories were bad either. I just didn't care for the character and their backstory was supposed to get me to, when it didn't A backstory should be given to the characters after we already know what they are like, adding a back story when there is no character foundation is like Throwing the cement without bricks on. It just makes the story seem sort of cheap. Sure it might "Get gooder" later on, but if it's not good from the beginning it isn't a masterpiece, Like people are saying it is. ITADORI My God Yuji Itadori by far one of the worst protagonists ever, He is boring. Why? Because, in an attempt for a realistic protagonist, Itadori just became a normal person but more boring, he just wants to help people... He has no proper goals in life, and The main reason for a story happening is conflict, this story rarely has narrative conflict, i.e. a character wants something but the antagonist also wants the same thing and they clash... Itadori doesn't have a goal like that. Itadori is just coasting in the world he is in, If he wasn't the main protagonist, I doubt anything would change the story......... the characters are automatically buddy buddy, the conflict we get later on is Itadori trying to kill Mahito but since I didn't care for Itadori in the beginning, I found it hard to care for his One conflict. He is basically Deku without the crying. Both of them are bland but at least Deku in season 1 had a strong goal and tenacity towards achieving it I was hooked into the show. (Can't say the same anymore but whatever) He has One rage scene that's a rip off the chimera ant arc and Doesn't take the good things about it. The reason Gon's anger was scary was because the whole show he seemed nice and I had grown attached to him, His anger came from a when close friend of his who had been a father figure to him got murdered. With Itadori, His anger came from a dude who he had met 30 seconds ago and we had known Itadori for less than 12 episodes making it hard to care for such an important event. The show might be going for "what happens when a good guy starts to become broken as more of his friends die and he becomes dark" approach but since the event that tipped the Dominoes wasn't founded properly, the rest of his outbursts seem angsty and broody to me, making me hate him even more. His personality is also inconsistent, one moment he's a childlike character, I liked him like this, The next he's a loud shounen protagonist, the next he's angry and angsty, the next he's chill and acts like he's the mature teenager. He also gets random boosts of power by pep talking himself. LOL THE WOMEN The JJK fans made it a statement that Jujutsu Kaisen has the best women in shounen but that's obviously a stretched lie to make the show seem better which they do a lot. I don't know where people got the idea that to have a good female character, They must be masculine, and they must be able to fight. The women in Dragon Ball are not even as powerful as the men in the show but they offer so much to the show, Chichi adds conflict when she doesn't want her son to do dangerous shit and just wants to be a good mother, Bulma is literally the reason Dragon ball Z is even remotely interesting, her character is so well defined and well written it bounces of Goku's creating a great dynamic that's fun to watch, 18 has a miserly personality and wants to have as much money as she can, she seems sort of cold hearted but she loves her husband and child. Erza from Fairy tail is extremely feminine yet remains one of the strongest characters in the show, she isn't heartless either she is a well defined character with flaws and actual motivation. None of the women in Jujutsu Kaisen can scratch the characters I just mentioned, Even the women in Black clover. Black clover has a variety of women, The ones who embrace their femininity, the ones who embrace their power, and of course the powerful ones, the closer we get to Black clover characters the more flaws we see. In Jujutsu Kaisen the female characters don't seem to have any flaws, Mai is the only who actually seems like she has some sort of flawed personality, I don't like her, but I appreciate her character, Nobara seems like a Sakura 2.0, the only difference she has from Sakura is that she doesn't have a crush on the broody dude, I heard she gets better but from what I've seen, she ain't it. I actually rally like Utahime and The blue haired money lover girl. surface level wise. People need to stop acting like having female characters in the show, that automatically makes it good, I'd rather watch a show without main female characters if they aren't going to be written as well as the men in the show, hunter x Hunter doesn't have any main female characters but the ones in the show are so well written and trample all of the Jujutsu Kaisen female characters no questions asked. and they don't even need backstories to do it. Random stuff that I noticed Jujutsu Kaisen introduces characters that seem important, doesn't develop them well then forgets about them, I.e Ijichi, The principal, Nanami, Ino-Kun who's never seen again after he's introduced, the bare bones characters make it extremely hard to care about the plot. Which I don't think has actually started... It's definitely not a show to find Sukuna's fingers, none of the main characters are that keen on finding them The pacing is weird, It went really fast up until episode 5 then it becomes extremely slow, things that should take a longer time to resolve, get resolved in a episode. Then the arc that follows is really slowwwww....This might be in part of me not liking Junpei and his edgy ass, I swear everything he says is supposed to sound smart but I come out of the scenes he's in thinking, who the hell talks like this? Like Danmm this man acting as if he knows the whole world. The thing is his character isn't even that consistent either, In one moment he's preaching at me, the next he's a goody goody, the next moment he's all shy, the next moment he's determined. I don't like him. I'd like to clarify: Junpei's personality being inconsistent, does not mean he's more fleshed out and realistic btw. Then the're the shameless exposition, In episode 6 Gojou explains his entire character in a place that's the least memorable, where no one asks,but the characters just say shit. Nanami explaining his powers to Itadori felt out of place, I know when they explain their powers they become stronger, Look, the curse he was fighting was a low level curse and he didn't need to get a boost. I have a question that wan't answered in the anime, If they speak their powers and they get stronger, does the strength the technique the last forever or does the boost go away and thy'd have to explain it when there is a new enemy? Idk Then there's the scene Miwa explains how her the school system works to Maki who already knows how it works. When the characters explain stuff to Itadori it's fine because he obviously doesn't know but when they start explaining stuff to each other u just have to wonder if they even had conversations before the plot started. I heard from Broken Ronin's video that in the manga there is narration so the exposition explains the stuff instead of just bringing characters that aren't in the conversation into it for the sake of exposition. All these problems are't as prevalent in the manga because you choose how fast you stay in a scene, and you won't even have time to think about these things, with the anime, you have a lot of time that just feels like characters talking... All they do is talk Ughhhhhhh I kinda get why the anime is popular, The manga readers who already like the story don't mind the pacing as much because they have already seen it. Most of the anime viewers are taken in by the hype of the Shibuya arc, If you don't think too much when watching this show, it's pretty easy to enjoy but when you start noticing inconsistencies... yhhhh The power system is In between hard and soft. It had rules but they aren't defined ofc. Most of my Friends who like this show say they had to watch videos explaining the power system.... so it's not that simple. if you think the power system is clear answer these questions Who can use magic? How is magic used? What is the source? What are the limitations/rules? Is there a cost to using magic? How does magic fit into your world? I can only answer one of the questions with confidence, The source of the power is cursed energy, but then again questions pop up like can d=you be strong only from cursed energy? Doesn't that mean if you're negative, the more powerful you are? And cursed spirits are pure Negative energy doesn't that make them pretty undef-eatable? I thought this show was just ok, a 7/10, and I told the internet that, they clearly didn't take it well and started harassing me, For a 7/10 show(at the time) I can't- anyways, I legit re-watched this show 4 times and I hated it the more I watched. Sukuna being the only interesting thing ofc he has his own motivations and does not conform to the plot. I have a feeling he's fit nicely in Hunter X Hunter. AND for people saying Sukuna got clowned by Gojou are wrong, In episode 1 Sukuna was only 1 finger strong, wait till he gets his fingers back ahahahah How I came about to ranking this show The main character - 0 The side Characters - 0.5 The plot - 0.5 The directing - 0.5 Consistency in animation - 0.5 Voice acting - 0.5 Soundtrack - 1 The Character design - 1 Lighting/ Change in backgrounds - 1 Genre - 0.5 Total 6/10

I have seen a lot of school anime in my life time and I don't think most of them come close to being as good as Gakuen Alice
A total of 5 things make Gakuen Alice stand out above the rest Handling A large cast of characters Most super power school anime struggle with the characterization of many characters, there's two major reasons why; when the writers make template for these characters they get attached to their characters and when tasked with writing those characters into the story, they fail to convey the character's personality properly because they've already do it in their heads, the second thing is ... dividing attention between the large cast. depending on the type of story you want to tell how you divide the attention is important, In romance anime, the focus is split between 2 main characters and about 4 side characters, in shounens focus is given to so many characters, in One piece characters get developed then they leave the story so dealing with those characters is simple. In MHA for example, since most of the characters dwell in a school and can't leave, the writer has to constantly be thinking of new ways to make those characters fun, what failed My hero academia however, is the addition of other schools. How are you going to add new characters when you haven't finished developing the characters you had first. Gakuen Alice was sort of in a hard place, the writer couldn't make the character leave the story after their arcs like in One piece so that was a problem, and just like in My hero academia the characters are in a school, how was Gakuen Alice going to deal with these problems? - One of the ways it dealt with these problems was restricting access from the outside world entirely, creating a secret society, by doing this, the writer limits characters from entering the story focuses on developing those characters the story has. -Students of different Divisions, Elementary, Middle school and High school wear different colours and uniforms that allow me to tell them apart, it's very important because Milan is going to spend about 6 years in the school and we sort of need to be able to tell divisions apart. - Giving characters One dimensional personalities then slowly building on them as the story progressed was neat, this way the writer can flesh out as many characters she wants because they have some basic trait viewers or readers remember them by Many of the characters are introduced this way, they seem pretty basic but each time we meet them we learn something new about them, the characters became so complex without me even noticing. This kept the story fresh. Anime examples would be Hotaru, Permy, Natsume, Ruka, Narumi, since the anime wasn't adapted fully I didn't see all the characters get fleshed out. so I read the manga -When New characters get added into the story they are anchored to pre-existing characters that were already in the story and If they aren't anchored, they come into the story with new information as well, so their introductions give me something new. Tsubasa is introduced in episode 6 and I found out new information about the 4 Alice types, In episode 7 Hijiri Yoichi is introduced into the story, anchored to Natsume, plus I found out about Central town, and dangerous Alice abilities. Hotaru's brother is introduced in episode 17 and gave me information about how some kids grow up with their parents and how cruel Alice academy could be. IT's a great way to always have characters involved in the story somehow. Handling the school aspect really well Gakuen Alice doesn't really try to be something it's not, it could've focused on the gritty Idea of children being trapped and manipulated by adults like in promised Neverland but it didn't. it goes for a more realistic approach, It's a story about a "child" trying to live life to the fullest in a school. but because the school is a secret society and it's governed by rules, that aspect sort of elevates the boring school setting and makes their slice of life episodic adventures more fun The most important rules are No.1: Students are allowed very little contact with the outside world once they are found out to be Alice users. this helps contain the secrecy. No.2: Students are ranked using a star system that ranks them on their grades and behavior, because their alices are something they cannot control. There are 4 levels, students with a principal star are the best students and are also rare, then come the three star students, followed by two star students, one star students and lastly No star students. The star ranking system also determines how you are treated, how much allowance you get, how much work you have to do, the room you get and the food you eat. How hard you work correlates with the rewards you get, making Alice academy function like the real world but instead of dealing with the whole world, the writer gets to deal with only a small portion of it. No.3: There are 4 Alice types, Latent type: Alices that are common and are easier to deal with, then we have Technical type Alices: Alices that reveal themselves through hard work, like paintings that come to life, or sewing a bear that comes to life. The somatic type use manipulation on living things, e.g, controlling animals, or people, manipulating your body to run faster, then the special class, a class of people who's abilities don't fit into the other categories and are considered weird. there is a secret category though, the dangerous Alice ability class, so far Yoichi who commands evil spirits, Natsume, a fire user and Persona, a man who kills what he touches have been shown. By categorizing students' powers there is some sort of order. No.4: Elementary students and middle school students of the different types have joint classes once a week, this helps younger students learn from their seniors. Mikan is in the special class. So she joins the special class with special class Middle school students. No.5: The person who scores the highest on their test is allowed to go home and visit their family, otherwise they are allowed to send letters to their families and get letters back. No.6: Students are allowed to buy resources and get necessities at central town, with the money they get from their star allowance. No:7: the festivals. these rules give it an edge because we get so many fun interactions out of them, like Mikan struggling to enjoy life to the fullest being a No star, or her truing to earn money, the festivals they have most of the time, because they are a rich school. Since it's mainly a slice of life story that focuses on their life at school, the students don't really have a goal, they do want to go back home but only one person can so they gave up trying, the rules allow them to aim for something, like getting a 3 star rank to get a better room or allowance. Handling 5 genres at once Gakuen Alice at most is a show about Mikan trying to make the best of her situation, mixed in with comedy, romance, Slice of life, school, and of course tragedy and all these genres are done realistically and not in an over the top way. Comedy is very subjective and what makes me laugh might not make you laugh so I can't say much about that. The romance aspect is very subtle especially in the beginning, it does become more as Mikan grows older. It doesn't overshadow everything else. The slice of life aspect is very mellow and chill, just students enjoying life, having episodic misadventures that do affect the overall story and the characters, I'm always kept guessing, what will happen next? The tragic aspect is children having to grow up without the love of parents. it's not really over dramatic except in Natsume's case but that's because he's a child who's forced to deal with the fact that his Alice killed a lot of people. Most of the children are home sick and before Mikan arrives they are in deep despair. Mikan herself does experience homesickness but she tries her hardest to become optimistic. Most of the children have been raised by the academy and have lost their sense of wonder, Mikan was raised as a normal child so it's only natural for her to be extremely optimistic. Together they all sort of help each other, Mikan learns not to be too trusting of others, whereas the other students adopt her optimism. It's really sad that this show didn't get the greatest anime adaptation nor a complete one, don't get me wrong, I love the voice acting, I love the music, I think it fits well with the classical look the academy was going for and I can watch bad animation as long as it's in color and it's not Bad CGI, I just think when My hero academia and literally any romance anime get great adaptations, Gakuen Alice didn't get that, IT DESERVES A RE ADAPTATION WITH THE COMPLETE SOURCE MATERIAL.... but Eh.. the manga is great. It's an 8.5 anime looking at it objectively but a 10/10 for my personal enjoyment

The new Demon slayer movie dropped and It was ok.
This movie Starts off very fun, optimistic, with Innosuke and Tanjiro Pulling Zenitsu up the train and the cast meets Rengoku, great way to start I must say their personalities are shining here Zenitsu is still a wimp, Innosuke is as Loud as ever and Tanjiro is helpin' out the oldies cuz he's Nice. Rengoku is basically any shounen protagonist. Then we get this weird over the top reaction in attempt to connect Rengoku with the characters for what happens later. but whatever Rengoku uses cool flame move thingy and I loved it, it was pretty and ... it kept me visually focused. We get introduced to the Villain who was probably the least interesting Villain ever, yes, he doesn't even get a sad backstory LMAO Like This man legit gave people good dreams. Oohh scary like seriously Maybe that's the reason I find it sorta empty. During my first watch I was eating popcorn so it wasn't too bad, I did find myself dozing off when the villain becomes the train. I really don't know why he did it, the stakes were probably the 200 people in the train who I did not care about so it was sorta pointless. but that's their Job. Okay whilst we are still on the boring Villain, WHY was he talking to himself?? If he was having an inner monologue that would've been much better But nope, he just talks to himself for absolutely no reason.When he explains his plan to the children that was fine and it made sense because he was conveying information to someone. The dream segment was nice actually, Tanjiro got to see his dead family, his Voice actor was probably having so much fun with this. I don't think it really characterized them in any way though, nothing new was really added, but the movie really wanted to show the audience his Little brother, I knew what they were doing and I fell for it, he's so cuteee Rengoku's dream was interesting, whilst everyone had a somewhat positive experience, he well I don't know, if your dad telling you you're a disappointment is the most positive thing your mind can think of... well.. I really think this dream sequence gave us some insight into him as a character, for the meager amount of screen time he got, the movie really capitalized on it, I know they could not give him a complete personality in a 2 hour movie but what we got was ok so I won't bitch about it. Zenitsu and Innosuke's dreams were a missed opportunity if you ask me, Tanjiro get to meet his core motivation, Rengoku gets to meet his family and talk to his brother, Innosuke's dream is an adventure.... it's cute that he cares about his friends now so nice way to show that, but come on, you're telling me this boy has no past memories with his family too? Same with Zenitsu, this dream sequence could have added something to them. I know that by giving Tanjiro and Rengoku deeper dreams and the rest funny ones, it sort of highlights the deeper dreams but damn they nerfed that opportunity. This movie really gave us a nice big helping of "Tanjiro is a good boy scout" cookies and I loved it, I do not like annoying main character who preach about kindness and how good they are, yes, it's hypocritical of me to like Tanjiro but his kindness is done in such an entertaining and over the top way that I was fucking impressed okay. when that dude entered his core and saw how peaceful it was, I was like damnnn Also this boy had to kill himself how many times?? I really like Tanjiro now He's not wimpy, he's not annoying, I can imagine having a nice conversation with this dude and using him for money, movies and food cuz If I asked he'd give me Then the last leg of the movie is The villain merging with the train and the CGI was horrendous, I tried to ignore it but really took me out of the movie. sure they were probably tired and had to use a substitute but the thing was ugly, I refuse to lie. Zenitsu and Nezuko didn't get that much screen time but that one bit he protected Nezuko was cute They defeat the Dream guy who I didn't care bout about, Rengoku and Tanjiro share a moment when he's teaching him how to heal and Akaza attacks This was probably the best fight in the entire movie, great colors, not the best fight choreography in Demon slayer but good enough, the downside was Akaza popping up from nowhere, then asking Rengoku to join the demons, you don't even know the dude, If they had told us they had fought before, him asking would have been justified. then he uses this ice looking thing which didn't do anything? Did it increase his speed? it's just a thing that happens IDK I'd like to applaud them for using the nighttime to hide the fact that they didn't draw backgrounds, animators should work smarter not harder. most people probably didn't notice cuz it was pretty clever. spoiler THE ENDING WAS FUCKING SAD OKAY I CRIED. RENGOKU DIED TOO SOON MAN TOO SOON EVEN THOUGH I KNEW IT WAS COMING CUZ MANGA READERS Tanjiro yelling at Akaza that he's a coward was too damn riveting, Innosuke telling others not to cry but Zenitsu tells him he's crying, Zenitsu crying, damn. It was too sad. It was not a perfect movie but it was pretty fun, I give this movie a 7.5/10 objectively, My enjoyment was a 6

Very disappointed with the whole Yuri bating
That aside, there were some bland moments in season 2 and the timeline was a bit confusing IDK if I'm just stupid Reina and Kumiko's moments felt really gay even when they say it's not lmao so I was trying to get that whole image out of my head, it was very Distracting anyway it's my opinion. U'd have to be blind to miss that whole yuri shit they was throwing in there. Ehh it was still a good season, the only reason I gave it a 7 was the Asuka arc It literally single-handedly carried this season, whereas last season it ... was the Yuri WHICH I FEEL LIKE I WAS ROBBED OF It's like the Free situation all over again
