I was born in 1988 in northwest Alabama. I began playing video games around 1990, with Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Entertainment System being my first game. A little later in life, I discovered a couple of interesting shows by the names of Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network. Thus, my interest in anime was sparked. Fast forward about a decade later and I finally get the chance attend my first anime convention, which was PersaCon 2008 in Huntsville, Alabama. I had little to no knowledge of cosplay before that convention, but I was immediately drawn into it after I arrived. I debuted my first cosplay, which was ANBU Kakashi Hatake from Naruto, at JAMPcon 2008 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The rest, as they say, is history...
