Death Note is one of those anime's that after episode 1, its really boring but it moves on fairly quick to your excitement that I have to say from what I've seen, Death Note goes above and beyond your typical run-of-the-mill action based anime.
Where in other anime's, it relies on action packed battles and fights, Death Note has that refreshing feel that changes its pace. It's sneaky, slick, clever, and witty with the eccentric "L" who leads the investigation against the protagonist. This anime has a story that most of us will find very common, a high school guy who likes a girl but is too much of a coward to admit it, and then something or someone appears to change his life to give him confidence right? Well, its 50% just like that, except with a twist, he has to have confidence to do something he is destined to do that is not negotiable, and its not about love at all and that's what made me watch it after the first episode.

Ok, I have to say that SAO was probably one of the best anime I've ever watched. The storyline and the plot of this anime is actually very good since its not just about an RPG game online that gets boring afterwards, a completely unexpected things happens in the story that changes the plot from just being a normal game to something that's very enjoyable.
Although, I do have to agree with some people that the main character is a little too overpowered, and its basically like saying that he doesn't have any weaknesses at all and if you do find his weakness, he's eventually ... |
