"Oshi no Ko"

Both Oshi no Ko and Love Live feature the genre of music idols and have decent drama plots. However, Love Live has far more episodes and is more lighthearted in nature. And of course, it has the famous "Nico-nico-nii" catchphrase most people will get. Worth watching. :)

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.

Both series deals with friendship, loyalty, love and loss. In my biased opinion, the plot and character development are more drawn out than Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. In addition, Anohana offers softer and supernatural elements in the series. Kimi ga Nozumu Eien deals more with adult-like situations and consequences, so I would advise those whom are 16...maybe 18 and older to watch it. I have watched Kimi ga Nozumu Eien twice. I did not understand the series too well nine years ago as opposed to now. Kimi ga Nozumu Eien will not disappoint drama/romance fans though, so try it out!

Dark undertones and the vampire theme are in both anime. Both have nice animation styles (though Shiki will need some adjusting). Both female lead vampires are childish yet are bold and have a strong sense of their beliefs. Both series are intended for mature audiences.

Brothers Conflict
add

Both females are similar in which they are hard-working at achieving their goals, well-mannered and likeable. Oh and that they are surrounded by men in which they show harboring feelings (some more than others). Both ladies have more introverted or passive qualities as well. Uta Pri - plot is influenced by music and fame Brothers Conflict - focuses more on family relations and fits into the slice-of-life category

Mahou Senshi Louie
add

According to online sources, Mahou Senshi Louie is a sister series of Record of Lodoss War in that it takes place on a continent north of Lodoss Island. Now, setting and genre are that of the same fantastical plane. Lodoss = more intensity, more drama and it has more graphic violence and main character is more goal oriented (completed watching) Mahou Senshi = more comedy with same elements of fantasy, also has a bit of fan service--main character is a bit on the clueless side. all in all, still enjoyable to watch (currently watching)

Hanasakeru Seishounen

Both female leads are stubborn, reckless at times and funny. Hana Yori Dango's setting is school related while Hanasakeru Seishounen has various settings. Both shoujos have the right amount of plot, interesting characters and great pacing. Enjoy!
