Saint Seiya legend of sanctuary is a film that, at least for me, looked very striking and interesting from a distance, but in the end I was quite disappointed. I must say that this movie is not as bad as I had heard, I would even recommend it (even though it was not to my liking) for some points that the movie fulfills.
First of all we must say that the film is not decided very well between if it is a movie for very "loyal" or "hardcore" fans of Saint Seiya or for those who do not know much about the original work and want
...
to introduce themselves (it is true that I I am not one of the 2, I saw Saint Seiya recently and I liked it, but I do not consider myself a big fan). But this idea is very contradictory throughout the entire film, starting from the beginning where Tatsumi (Saori's butler) explains the whole "plot" of the original work to Saori in such a sudden and unbelievable way , literally exude all the concepts to the viewer suddenly, resulting suddenly for those who do not have much idea about Saint Seiya and being very hasty for those who did see the manga or the anime, I would say that this is one of the worst scenes of all the movie, but do not take much importance, since the film did not have enough time to develop in its entirety (the fact that the film did not have much time when 3 characters were very irrelevant and wasted).
Another point that disappointed me enough about the movie were the personalities and actions of the most iconic characters of Saint Seiya, Hyoga is someone "badas and cool" instead of that loyal, sensitive (he lets himself glimpse in the battle against Camus, against Isaac and when he sees the illusion of Camus) and intelligent gentleman that was in the original work, Hyoga may be the main character character with less personality in the original work for some, but for me it was well constructed throughout the scenes and the reasons that are known from the beginning, I would say that here you can see again the little time that the series had, the personality of Hyoga is not explored even in the battle against Camus, that is because the movie did not have time to show their past or motivations, so the battle against Camus does not generate an emotion or satisfaction for the fact that Hyoga has outdone his teacher, here in the movie was only to get some special effects of gall or, show facial expressions of pain and grief without any reason for the fact that the viewer is supposed to already know about Camus and Hyoga (I say and I talk a lot about Hyoga because he is the character that most contradicts the idea of the film being for all public that even know Saint Seiya), the battle in my opinion is by far the worst of the whole movie presided by the great difference of emotion and context between the film.
Unfortunately Hyoga is not the only one who undergoes such a drastic change, Ikki also suffers from the same, but much worse, Ikki, who is supposed to be the tough guy, but who feels empathy for your team and always tries to help them, it was the personality more suited to the character that always served to defeat the strongest enemy (see Shaka, Kanon and Aiocos in his part), in his part that was what made Ikki so iconic characterizing him as someone strong who does not waver (this personality even it complemented the fact that he was the eldest and always Shun called him older brother). The personality that Ikki has in the film in my opinion is very bad, starting from the fact that he has no outstanding personality, that is because he appears 2 times in the movie and his dialogue is very bad, he says nothing about it and It seems that their dialogues want to look great, but the fact that Ikki appears so little makes these dialogues quite empty and irrelevant, so I would say that Ikki is the worst character in the entire film, added to the fact that he does not defeat no one important in the whole movie, this is very disappointing because Ikki is usually the most surprising character in the series, but the character could easily be removed from the film without causing a big impact or even bother the viewer, Ikki happened to be a character that had an impact and that was strong to one that is simply nothing, neither in personality nor in actions.
I would say that Shun would say that he is the character most faithful to his original personality in a certain part, he is the most gentleman of the team and he knows how to speak with respect to all his team, the personality of Shun remains the same but he can not do good chemistry with Ikki nor with the others because of the little depth and because of the very bizarre changes that it has, one could say that Shun's personality remains fairly stable in comparison, but we can not see his side that does not want to fight because he does not have any battle, wait to talk about Shun to mention another very big problem that the series has, the changes of personality can be passable or even very good, but because of the little depth of the characters you can not rescue much of the personality, we do not know how they trained or that they learned through the years or the relationships they had with some characters, but the film wants the viewer to know that, cutting the important parts tantes of dialogue and wanting to create something different without knowing what the audience is focused on and that causes a lot of plot flaws, the characters want to protect Saori without any reason, they do it because if, by not deepening their past we do not even know if it is that they were raised for that, in the end the idea of wanting to create a Saint Seiya movie for people who are fans and those who are not fans results in a contradiction too great for all the failures.
Seiya and Shiryu are the characters that least bother me since Shiryu maintained a personality very faithful to the original and Seiya because I could notice a bit of evoulucion as Seiya assumes his defeat against Aioria before going to the 12 houses, otherwise I could say that the first personality of Seiya seemed very good to me, the fact that first of all its strength and the angle that the camera is shown when Seiya puts on the armor for the first time seemed to me a very good scene and that easily serves as an introduction for the great animation that waits in the following battles, the only thing that I would say about Seiya is that his personality is very annoying to me and also the fact that he has captured all the attention in the whole movie, the normal Seiya was recognized for being the stereotype of shonen acceptable for his time, is not the best, but certainly is better than an arrogant and pretentious adolescent, Seiya is a character who is very unpretentious because his topics are almost "I'm going to take care of Saori without reason" and nothing else, his goals to save it may be more justifiable by the little flashback that is done about how Saori healed his wound, but the flashback is too short to think that is important ( besides, that memory is never mentioned later). For me Seiya is the most passable character, the only bad thing is his annoying personality.
On the other hand Shiryu does not change much, Shiryu is still the wisest character among the 5 knights, without falling into pedantic or pretentious phrases Shiryu can be considered the wisest due to the caution and determination he has in battle, the battle of Shiryu against Death Mask does not convince me either for many reasons, the drastic change between the house of cancer, which motivates Shiryu to fight and the Death Mask personality made that at first he reacted in a rather negative way to his fight, the great change of Death Mask spoiled one of the best moments of the saga of the 12 houses, in the original work Shiryu gains strength because Death Mask attacked Shunrei, someone that Shiryu appreciates a lot, that made sense because of the context that had the battle, in the movie Shiryu gains strength for Saori, this seemed very unbelievable because Shiryu knew Saori for less than a week so Shiryu's motivation makes me very poor, outside of that it seemed to me that the battle is quite faithful to the original, so this battle at least has something salvageable, because they do not invent any kind of power to get out of the way of combat, although it is a pity that this is their only battle and I could not face Shura, that was one of my biggest disappointments, along with the fact that there is no battle against Shaka and Aphrodite.
Now that I mention Shaka and Aphrodite I want to take the opportunity to say that I expected their battles a lot, especially Shaka against Ikki, but in the end Shaka does not even fight against anyone in particular, Shaka is the strongest of those golden knights, but in the movie does not fight because of the excuse that he knew the truth during the 13 years, it does not seem so convincing, but I'll let it go (although that is relieved in a way that seems to be irrelevant in that dialogue), at least Shaka appears in an epic way saving Seiya from being finished by Aioria, that scene turned out good.
Aphrodite, on the other hand, is totally "erased" from the movie he did absolutely nothing, this in my opinion is inexcusable since the attacks of Aphrodite are probably the most simpples among all the golden knights, even with his battle could have shown another facet of Shun in combat, but nothing came up Aphrodite is treated like trash being murdered by the great patriarch in a very patetic and very hurried way, the great patriarch looked like a spoiled child who was angry and that's why I killed Aphrodite. Afroita was what bothered me most in the whole movie, instead of spending time with the monster form of Saga (which certainly has no explanation or logic) they would have spent in the battle against Shun, where his would have revealed that a of Shun's motivations is to avenge his teacher.
Saga also turns out to be quite mediocre because all its presentation and explanation of motives turns out to be very flat and hurry, I'm not going to take much time explaining this since the saga of this movie is just an enemy like any other, very different from the one of original work where he had a personality problem that was taken very seriously in the original work, its monstrous form was very elaborate and it does not make sense to be there, at least thanks to Saga the best scene of the film was produced, this is when the golden knights face a giant statue, not only the animation I like, but also the feeling of union and team that emerges, Saint Seiya has always been characterized precisely by the teamwork and brotherhood of the elect of golden knights , I saw that scene very much.
The way in which Seiya defeats Saga is very reminiscent of the classic, Seiya with the power of Athena and the armor of Sagittarius can defeat Saga, i do not have any complaints here, I would even say that I'm excited to see those scenes for the scenarios, the animation, the facial gestures and the music, all well used and complemented to create a good fight scene, although hopefully the end would not have been just about Seiya, it is true that he gets power from his friends, but in the end they do not do much more, in the original work Ikki helped a lot on that subject, but here it was all concentrated in Seiya (besides the arm that brings out the power of all his friends was amazing, I gave him a nod regardless of whether it is a power up or not).
Another of the moments that I found very elaborate is when Milo and Shura read the text that Aiolos left about Athena, literally reading that they went against the great patriarch without hesitation, there was not even a key dialogue to show their confusion (now I must say that my favorite dialogue is the one Seiya has with Athena before the arrow is stuck in him), Mu also falls in the same bag, appears intimidatingly looking like he wants to fight, but when he feels the cosmos of Athena he surrendered and I swear allegiance to Athena, if it were not for I saw the manga I would not have understood Mu's big change, but it's not the worst scene by far, if you're not very precise or you do not want to judge everything it's possible to overlook that scene of Mu, the part that if it is out of place and that in my opinion is horrible is the introduction of Death Mask when the protagonists enter the house of Cancer, that "musical" was so out of place and so far from someone as Death Mask which in my opinion had to have been eliminated, that can easily be the worst scenes of the whole class.
The setting of the film is quite peculiar, but not unpleasant, from the new design of the armor to the visual of the whole sanctuary, everything is seen with a new and attractive aesthetic, the fact that everything has a futuristic touch and cyberpunk I liked, the armor even seem like a wick in minatura, with the correct animation that idea can work and the movie showed that, so I must give a nod to the setting. The design of the 12 houses also seems great, in case the scenes of the film seem good, the 12 houses are no longer the typical pillars that appear monotonous (except for Geminis that does not even appear, that it bothered me a bit since I was expecting the fight against the great patriarch manipulating the Gemini armor), the use of scenarios is key and the film knows that, fulfilling in an exceptional way in that area.
It's time to comment on the beautiful and very well achieved animation, soundtrack and facial gestures, every technical and visual theme in the film deserves my applause, the attacks look great and are very consistent with the character that uses them, the soundtrack complement somewhat the decent battles that the film has (I would say that the best battle is when Shura and Milo appear), the music sometimes failed to be used at very wrong times and unfortunately, but that is not to deny that when they wanted to complement a battle with soundtrack they did, the facial gestures are beautiful by themselves, represent very well the emotion that the characters feel and that's why the facial gestures contain details that lets you know more about the character, that set of technical elements It made it totally worth seeing the movie.
At the end I just want to say that the proposal of this movie I liked, the CGI animation looks good and, although there are some characters that look horrible with the new aesthetics, most of them look interesting and complement their personality, even see Milo woman bothers me, I would even say that I liked it, the film tries to do many novel things, but that does not mean that this good, a bad idea taken ill is worse than a series of cliches since a novel series had more opportunities, here I think the same thing happens, some new things come out as the aesthetic, the animation of the attacks and the scenarios / setting, but others are horrible as the characters or the rhythm of the story that only consists of a short confrontation without depth because we do not "know" the characters, I would recommend the film to a certain audience, but it is not a movie that I like very much.

Love Live! School Idol Project

I'm a big fan of the Love Live franchise, so I'm sorry if I look like a mired person or with bad judgment, but the truth is that I like all seasons of Love Live (including Sunshine and the movie). But that does not stop me from wanting to give my opinion about this anime.
History: Love Live is an anime that does not have a deep, ingenious or innovative story. This does not make this point weak or anything like that, the series creates a simple story for the characters to "develop" the way they see fit. The story is developed based on training and training ... until you can perfect a choreography. The story is not more than that, a day by day of 9 girls who give their best effort to achieve a goal, but it is more than that, the events that arise in history make it good in my opinion. There are moments like the first concert they do that showed me how serious the girls were, the story does not want them to be the best ones singing automatically or because they are school idols stand out in a first concert, that's why the first concert was a total disaster (although Star Dash is one of the favortias songs of the fans), because it has to be, a group of idols is not done from one day to the next, that would be totally illogical. Although the time spent in choreography, costumes and calling people for the concert was totally useless they did not give up, they had a credible goal and an "answer" to their problem also credible, it was admiracion and hard work, it has not but, at no time I find it strange that being school idols was something stupid or irrational, the world that presents Love Live makes it totally clear that school idols of that age are very normal and attract public, being a school idol is simply something that would assure (for Honoka) attract public, under that point of vsita it sounds very credible that she has been serious about being a school idol and convince her friends to do it, because that way the chances of saving the school increase significantly and, something that I consider important even in real life, they could turn their responsibilities into something special and very comfortable for them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Characters: The characters (along with the music) is what gives Love Live the essence, since the main objective of Love Live was always to produce good music and create very "beautiful and tender" characters to make the aesthetics of music have cohesion and so make both components are in a way that the public likes and can make any of the 9 girls in the group are liked by someone. And the 9 girls together form the group u's The Love Live characters share the same goal or main objectives as the others, this is something that is obvious taking into account that all live in the same school and that same school will close. Honoka Kousaka: she is a character who has the character of a boss, not because of being bossy or being a kind of drastic boss, she is simply determined and cheerful, which I like, is like what I said before; she transforms her responsibility into a way to get closer to her friends and a way to have fun. Honoka is the typical person who is always happy and knows how to make her group happy, and there is the grace of the characters, to take types of people to make a group of idols more diverse and with different and at the same time similar personalities. Honoka works very well as head of the group, I do not have much more to say about her; She is friendly, kind, often funny and very determined to fulfill her goals (although in a certain part of the Honoka series she became very depressed and left the group for a while). Simply a character with good function of boss and who manages to become more responsible in the second season to be president of the student council, so she learned to tormase more seriously their responsibilities. Umi Sonoda: is the typical girl who is good at sports and academically, Umi is the childhood friend of Honoka and Kotori, so their closeness with both characters is very present in the series, Umi despite being another type of common girl in animes does not take away the merit, this is due to his participation in the group and his way of helping the group. Umi is a very shy girl who dislikes wearing mini skirts for concerts, but due to the insistence of her best friends she decides to put on the clothes she thought was shameful, Umi demonstrates in the first instance to be a good friend and shows it With all the other girls that join the group, Umi is a character that is distinguished from the other characters because of how indecent finds things like kisses or that indole, this causes pretty funny moments in the series (like when they are watching a novel), Umi has a very strong personality and fulfills his goal of trying to be different from the other characters (although it looks like Maki, they turn out to be very different), it shows the love that has Honoka and Kotori for be childhood friends, and Umi likes to practice archery. Kotori Minami: she is in charge of the creation of the costumes for all the concerts, so it can be said that she is one of the most important in the series. Kotori shows (just like Umi) the affection she has for Honoka, I emphasize this because it is very important, it would not make sense if they are friends from childhood and they do not show a credible friendship for what they have been together, their friendship It has to be made credible, this is achieved through their friendly dialogues and the memories they have of their childhood (especially the one that show a time when they climb a tree and Kotori and Umi scares them), I consider the friendships of these 3 girls very well achieved, many people may say that cliche, but that is irrelevant, taking into account that the story tells the day to day of a group of idols and adding the fact that they are normal people is a cliche well implemented, is that they simply showed their relationship in a simple way as people in their day to day, the moment that Kotori has to go proves it even more, Honoka gives all their effort to convince Kotori to stay in Japan , And it is Kotori has other motivations besides saving the school, she wants to be a designer, that would give her reasons to join the group of idols. Kotori is the personage of the series that demonstrates to have more motivations in addition to saving the school and it is possible to appreciate his great friendship with Umi and (especially) with Honoka. despite that she does not have a personality "as" marked as the other girls, Kotori is more responsible and somewhat more shy than the others (she is almost as responsible as Umi), but what differentiates her from the others are her goals and things what she does (make the wardrobe, want to be a professional designer and be a kind of "maid" in a local). Rin Hoshizora: Rin is a first year at the Otonokizaka academy, it is one of the smallest members of the group, it is often childish (but without falling into stupidity imensa). Rin is quite extravaganten his mania to finish his sentences with "nya" also comes to be a type of girl known in Japan (come on, the typical "Neko girls"), so they did the right thing by making Rin the most childish member and the smallest of the group, because although it is unnatural to listen to someone finish the sentences with nya, the series wants this to go more unnoticed and not feel forced, this because the series does not give emphasis to its strange mania to say nya, so if someone came to dislike it would be very easy to ignore. Rin is also one of the members of the most sensitive group (only surpassed by Hanayo) and that is noticeable since she was little, because she was annoyed to look like a man, which caused a constant denial when talking about her beauty, even saying that She was not pretty enough to be able to enter a group of idols, it's not a traumatic past or anything like that, it just caused her great insecurity, the bad thing is that it may seem quite exaggerated. Rin manages a good relationship with almost everything (if not all) the group, this is because she always tries to have fun and it feels good to have that support in the group, it is as if she often raised spirits (despite the fact that she often gets sad), but she proves to be mature when she has to be mature (especially when she had to be the center in a song). In spite of everything, it takes time for Rin to find a real reason to belong to the group, since she joined the group only because Hanayo did it. Hanayo Koizumi: she is the most timid member, that is the basis of her main charm, we must give special emphasis on her shyness, because that is what stands out the most. Hanayo has several good relationships with Maki and Rin (those of her school year), Hanayo had a great affection for school idols, even she was one of the few that came face to face in the first concert of the u's (since all the others were hidden). Hanayo is a friend of Rin since they are small, that is why they are always together and that several times they meet together, often both find themselves progressing to be better school idols, but that is not why Hanayo does not have good relations with the others members, Maki is someone who can hit Hanayo a lot in terms of personality, but that does not distance them or anything like that, both, being first year, they get along very well, it is natural that in Love Live the members that belong to the same year get along, because they have the same class in common, but outside the school, Hanayo still gets along well with Rin and Maki, Hanayo being shy does not speak much, but with Maki and Rin speaks a lot, that She already says a lot about her relationship as friends. After a while, when Hanayo gets used to doing concerts, she changes her attitude and does not feel ashamed to sing and dance in front of many people, on the contrary, seeing things from her in stores is joyful and emotional, so in the story could leave his shyness aside Maki Nishikino: she is very mature, has different hobbies than other members since she knows how to play the piano and is often busy as a resource to make songs, Maki is intelligent, but despite that she believes in things that are childish at her age (Maki believes in Santa), but that does not make her silly, obviously. Maki is the daughter of a millionaire father, although this does not have much relevance in the series it has to be said that at a certain moment the u's go to the summer house of Maki's parents to spend some time (it must be said that in that part they occur many fun moments). Maki also has a great relationship with (besides her school year) Nico, Maki often has funny conversations with Nico because she can turn out to be very crazy, is how Rin, despite that Maki never says he dislikes being with Nico and Len at certain times are treated very well as friends, Maki manages good control of their friendships. a very remarkable attitude of Maki is that it seems "tsundere" and in a moment even Nozomi tells him a comment of that type to laugh at her for a while. This attitude causes that Maki often reacts of graceful form or that says phrase that, at least the fans, consider memorable Eli Ayase: is the president of the student council and one of her first actions in the series is to ban the group that Honoka was planning to do, and at the beginning Eli demonstrates an absolute denial of the formation of the idols club, but through the story advances and due to the determination shown by Honoka, Eli decides to help the group so that they can dance well, Eli changes her mind in a way that is well constructed, she simply decided to help the last hope of her high school (since she was the president then logically it was the most worried). Eli has a very good relationship of friendship with Nozomi, the viscepresident of the student council, Eli knows Nozomi since they are small and in short, it happens the same as with the other members, when they know each other since childhood their friendship is very well achieved and demonstrates in a very credible way, especially by the way they help at certain times. Eli also has a more firm and responsible personality, she is not strict (the strict one of the group is Umi), but she often shows her great concern for the group, even though at the beginning she wanted to prohibit the club of idols Nozomi Tojo: is undoubtedly the wisest and smartest member of a group, even before joining the group of idols she helped giving advice, as I said, Nozomi has a close relationship of friendship with Eli since they are small, but all members of u's have a lot of respect for Nozomi, that's not why they have a more formal relationship, but they do estimate it a lot (in a chapter Maki finds out about Nozomi's past and feels that she can get along better with her). Nozomi also has a very strong personality, as already mentioned is wise, but besides that she likes to joke with the members of the group, thus playing a good role of "counselor" and how a very good friend to have fun. Nozomi, has a past that is not the big thing or something deep, but it serves to better understand the reason that gets along so well with Eli, Love Live in general stands out for the relationships formed by the characters and how they are shown Throughout the series, with Nozomi they chose to use another flashback to demonstrate the beginning of their relationship. Nozomi also has the habit of grabbing other people's chest, it's weird, but when he used that it gave me grace Nico Yazawa: Nico is the member of u that most admired by the school idols has, at first part hating the group of idols saying they are mediocre, but then he has to give the club to Honoka, Nico felt the same as Eli, he disliked the fact that there was an idol club, but for totally different reasons. Nico had previously formed a group of idols that had come far and Nico was emotionally excited by the fact that his dream was becoming reality, but the other members left, because of that she denies the fact that there is another group of school idols. Nico has a more than justifiable motivation to join the group of idols, she admires the idols in the same way that Hanayo does, that is precisely why Nico and Hanayo become good friends, Nico is the most open member to express herself , she does not feel ashamed when it comes to being idols and that is noticeable when she makes her "Nico Nico Nii" to show that she "knows" to be an idol. Nico in general is more similar to Rin, both are very crazy and funny, but Nico takes his idol job very seriously. Being Love Live a series that focuses a lot on the charm of the characters is normal to try to make them more distanced in terms of design is concerned (and if it does not do so by personality). This is an excellent factor taken by the series, since, regardless of whether his personality is distinctive or not of the character, his design will make him feel more detached and special. In Love Live the designs of the 9 girls is done in a very good way, they did not try to make the designs very strange, they put an exact amount of intonation to the colors to make the hair and the eyes of a color neither realistic nor unreal. It is also worth mentioning that the characters are also distinguished by the excellent work of the dubbing actors (or seiyuus) that make the voice feel different from the other members (which was to be considered taking into account the budget behind it). ). In my opinion as far as designs are concerned, Love Live did it very well, knew how to create a nice design for the view and knew how to take advantage of the lyrics or "aesthetics" of their songs to make characters that in my opinion are very charismatic and distanced from others, very good characters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rhythm and events of the story: Leaving aside that which I just told about the ed u's members, it is also worth mentioning how to develop the story based on them, they constantly have scenes that demonstrate their passion for what they do and their bonds of friendship achieved with time together. Such ephemeral scenes as the flash-backs that have until more transcendental moments like when the u's present their first concert, all those parts are important for the plot, not only because they cause a change in the way of training or to see the work of being idol, but also because you can get to emphasize more with all the members of the group, that's why they have so many different hobbies and they get to know each other throughout the series. With everything said then you can see a very good convinacion or "synergy" on the part of the members demonstrating that although the work of idol is difficult, they continue to strive and continue to advance naturally, they simply combine with each other, all are different, but try to fit for the same goal, become school idols Events happen at a good speed for what is normally offered by a series that presents the day to day of a group of idols. The series is well accompanied by moments where the u's make concerts, making the soundtrack good and the series is not monotonous, there will always be a song to raise the mood at certain times. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ animation and soundtrack: How I mentioned the soundtrack is very good in the series due to how the series makes the u's have a workout and then a dance, try to make the different songs, the soundtrack of Love Live is good because that's what the series is based on, music. The animation is in CGI due to the difficulty to animate dance movements, but the scenarios in which the dances take place, the same dances that make tune with the music make it something remarkable, it is not at all an easy job to animate dances and final does not end badly. Animation is well achieved for how complex it is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enjoyment: I enjoyed the series very much, it calms me a lot listening to the songs of the u's are songs presented in the anime or not, hopefully someone feels the same as I feel with this series, I do not want to sound dramatic, but it generates mixed feelings. Undoubtedly enjoy them, you will especially like if you disriutas the music and you like the characters that go more to the "cute and tender" than anything else, but for me no doubt Love Live fulfilled its goal

The movie of "Dragon Ball Z Movie 08: Moetsukiro !! Nessen, Ressen, Chougekisen", is in my humid opinion, entertaining, it is not an excellent film by far, but it fits with the things that I appreciate from a movie of Dragon Ball Z The history of the film is, to say the least, interesting. In the movie it shows other 2 warriors of the almost extinct Saiyajin race, the way of presenting them and their motives are very far from the archetype of common enemy (which is not bad), since the first antagonist of the film, Paragus is someone who wants to reconstruct ... the whole planet Vegeta, is a goal that, despite sounding outlandish and idiotic, it makes sense if you consider the scenario they were in, Frieza had died and his soldiers too (taking into account that his father died and that, if he became canonical in the film, Cooler, Frieza's brother had died), they had nothing to lose and everything was conveniently suited for Paragus to carry out his plan. Therefore I consider that the motivations of the first villain of the movie are justified and logical, also it is different motivation to the other enemies (although their objectives were false, but by that time they were very good). The bad thing is that after the villain changes to the typical "I have a super powerful ally and with the governor the universe", this type of enemies is too common in the movies and in the very series (except for the Dragon Ball with Goku small), this is passable because the antagonist motive goes to something deeper in Broly's personality. Broly has a special grudge against Goku and this is due to a big problem they had when they were very young, not because Goku has frustrated their plans or destroyed their ambitions, the problem Broly has with Goku is much more interesting and justifiable than that of other enemies ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The characters in the film do not stand out, this is because the characters are the same as always, the only "remarkable" new characters are Paragus and Broly. Goku does not show changes, Vegeta does not, nor does Krillin and a long etcetera. This is not particularly bad since being a franchise film that left many chapters behind it is understandable that it does not have evolution, it would feel very strange and unnatural (although this applies much more in this film for the time and moment in which he left). Paragus and Broly are enemies with an interesting story, but it can be easily incoherent, it is assumed that Broly has a power of 10,000 ki, it is only said that he is the legendary super Saiyan and that is never explained, Paragus was not very special and it is very strange that he was the father of the legendary Saiyan, this after all is only a convenience of the author. Broly is saved from a super nova occupied by Frieza and survives with his father because his power was very immense (which I think is a great exaggeration), his story had potential, but was pretty wasted. On the other hand, the design of Broly, the approaches given by the film, its range of colors and design cohesion in a spectacular way. As the film always tries to focus on its attacks and muscles to inflict respect (which is very necessary if we take into account that the villain is the legendary Saiyan), even when the film takes up the experiences of Broly the film is about to make it look like a very powerful monster that simply has fun destroying planets (a special scene is like the one that is going to exterminate a small alien race, but instead prefers to change the trajectory of its energy ball to its planet to destroy it in front of all its inhabitants). You could say that the range of greenish colors that Broly gives to his attacks and hair is aesthetically good, is very differentiated from the other Saiyans of the series and also when transformed releases a green wave that fits very well to add something epic to the scene Its design is something that has much to do with the focus of the camera and the same series gives the character, his design of someone weak and harmless to his muscular design and more evil is spectacular, from the simple as the fact that his pupils are lost until his suit that gives him a mystical air they look good, it can be seen from a distance that he is the legendary super saiyan. The bad thing is that Broly does not give off a new or attractive personality, its base form has almost no personality and its form in legendary super saiyan is limited to just saying "Kakaroto" and not much more, it is superb, it is selfish and evil, come on, The aforementioned archetype of the enemy may well suit his personality, but it does not take away the fact that his personality is already very predictable and quite boring. In general Broly was very unused, excellent design, but unfortunate personality. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The scenarios of the film are basic, they are not surprising nor is it something that fits perfectly with the battle, they are not bad, but they are not good either, you do not feel a very good atmosphere due to the very powerful that they did to Broly reaching seem absurd, although this is easily forgivable because of how the battle was developed on the stage, all the characters being beaten by Broly while he sent it to any building to make them suffer, at least they knew how to use the stage, but it was not perfect (obviously ). The soundtrack is fine, personally I love the soundtrack of Dragon Ball in general, in Broly's film this factor is well used, especially in battles when it is shown how powerful Broly is, this generates a good contrast. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A little about the end: At the end of the movie they defeat the antagonist in a very impractical way, the only thing that happened was that Goku asked for energy from the others while giving him a beating (something quite common), at least his power up had a justification, besides creating a scene that can be exciting for some people, seeing Goku defeating Broly is something that is quite disappointing, but this is compensated by the way they focus the punch and see the characters giving Goku the energy despite that they knew they could lose ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The movie has some inconsistencies; how the fact that the master Mutenroshi has been drunk for about 2 days, Broly's past or why Paragus left the planet in a very carefree way that caused his death. But if we remove that the film can get to entertain enough, to last an hour takes its time in battles and animation is well implemented with the antagonist Broly, the story, although it has notable failures, is entertaining and can reach generates a great interest for the historical value Saiyan that present the 2 antagonists, scenarios and acceptable soundtracks.

The Dragon Ball movies in general end up being good, this movie is not at all the exception. The movie "Dragon Ball Z Movie 12: Fukkatsu no Fusion! Gokuu to Vegeta" is undoubtedly my favorite movie of this whole franchise. I just liked it very much. The story, despite being simple, manages to present very interesting topics. The fact that to go to hell you have to "purify" the soul and remove all negative feelings is something that, at the very least, can give possibilities and be something quite curious, because the evil of all enemies who defeated Goku before is stored in that ... place. The film took advantage of its very little used scenario (beyond, hell) to propose interesting things. The way in which this whole issue of the beyond is presented is done in a good way (adding everything implemented in the anime / manga), so the story is not searched or forced, because the whole incident occurred by simple carelessness which cost very expensive, in general it seemed a simple story, but very effective. The characters in the movie are many, but very few end up importing; what happens on earth is entirely secondary and feels without emotion. Goku and Vegeta remain the same (which is to be expected), but in the middle of the battle against Super Janemba, Vegeta accepts that Super Janemba is a very strong enemy for him, coming to mourn the frustration (Vegeta very rarely does this , he is very proud) and agrees to merge with Goku. His first fusion fails miserably due to an error of Vegeta, but despite that Vegeta continued to accept that the fusion is his only salvation, showing that he can come to reconsider his chances of winning a fight (I repeat, Vegeta rarely does this) , so it has an acceptable "evolution" for the duration of the movie. Goku is the same as always, loves the fights (so much that he even wanted to continue battling against Paikuhan despite the rumble caused by Janemba), Goku never comes to hate Janemba or thinks arrogantly against him, Goku is just as always, what does not get to emphasize its evolution or things of that nature. What stands out of Goku in this fight is his battle against Janemba, since Goku faced off against the most unpredictable enemy of all (Goku even goes so far as to say that Janemba or Super Janemba has been the strongest enemy against which he has fought ), Goku's surprise at seeing Janemba's attacks and how he plans to defeat him was something good and quite exciting. Paikuhan is a rather minor character in the film, his only important activity was discovering Janemba's weakness, but that does not mean he can be devalued or belittled, Paikuhan is someone with an "air" or very chivalrous personality, so it's funny see him insult the crystals that Janemba did. Apart from that, the other thing he did was to make a very short battle against Janemba, so in combat it is quite disappointing (although he won time for Goku and Vegeta to merge). Paikuhan in general is quite deceocionante by its very short battle and because I spend most of the movie with the crystals of Janemba. Janemba, on the other hand, is an enemy that arises from a very ingenious idea, the badness made person (literally) and Janemba is not at all an untapped enemy, her silly and childish personality in its first form passes to a personality much more serious and that emits terror, their movements are very varied to be a Dragon Ball character where most of the times are limited to throwing waves of energy, does not emit decent dialogues (only says Janemba), but is a very well used enemy and thought. The atmosphere of the movie is very good, hell was turned into a very eccentric place (more than it already is), full of crystals that seem sweet, that complements very well the personality of the fat Janemba, an excellent scenario. The film also has a soundtrack very much in line with what was presented on the scene, the most remarkable being the one that sounds when Goku confronts Janemba, transmitting a feeling of madness and mystery. Another soundtrack that is very much in tune with the moment is when Goku and Vegeta transform into Gogeta to defeat Super Janemba, an epic music. A movie that I think is very good from Dragon Ball, feels the frenetic and crazy of the combats in this movie, the fusion does not feel gimmicky or something that is convenient (since the fusion was implemented before the movie, besides the first fusion failed), a very enjoyable movie if you are looking for something that is "style on substance", but without leaving the "substance" obsolete.
