ah, I caught up to HnK's manga the week chapter 95 got published, so I never got to know about any major fan theories - though I'm still not into the fandom yet considering it's still on hiatus. I do plan on moving to CSM and HnK's fandom once SnK ends (Also, a re-read to see how retrospectively the series feels after the reveals). The art does fit the atmosphere and the overall vibe of the story - and the paneling is incredible.

Vinland's Artwork is also incredible - gives a realistic feeling to it. Vinland's Character designs are very underrated.
The anime did a great job though. I don't have a strong opinion on the anime original scenes, and they were only 2 episodes (and a few scenes at the end). The pacing is slow and Yabuta's a great director. Might be a bias but I kinda love WIT studio's approach. They adapted the prologue arc, so I guess season 2 will cover only the farmland arc, the slave part of the story. That arc's a strong 10, so it's obvious that I'm hyped for the anime adaptation.

m' kinda optimistic about HNK's end, because it does have a well thought-out plot structure. Just need Ichikawa-sensei to get out of that hiatus, it's been more than 100 days already.
I'm also catching up to Vinland Saga, lol - had it on hold after reading farmland. Definitely looking forward to season 2
