Makes me say "Just one more chapter..." every night.

I'm having trouble expressing my thoughts with this manga, although it's not too heavy nor too light to read. I'm struggling because I can't put into my mind who's the best girl even after I finished reading it. Still, it's a great manga that somehow gives the vibe of "School Days" anime.

The story tackles bands and their popularity, including the struggles which they face every now and then. You know, like your favorite band member having some controversy suddenly spilling out and such. It also shows the struggles of those who know them and their sufferings they ... get just because they know famous people personally.

To be honest, I only got interested in this manga because it's been marked under music genre. Reading the manga, it felt like I was watching some sort of play or a musical movie, complete with all the characters singing on every scene.

I like the last volume, although I didn't expect it to end that way (talking about the last two chapters). I could probably compare it with "School Days" anime, only this manga has a somewhat happier ending. Almost every character changed after the timeskip, and the last chapter feels like it hints for another story.

Oh yeah, this manga was also tagged as ecchi. I underestimated the possible contents of an ecchi manga, specifically this manga. My mind was not ready (LOL).

Okay, this manga should have the psychological genre tag in it. Plus, the sexual scenes almost worked perfectly with the psychological impact this manga gives (every chapter has it).

There were some things that pissed me off, though. It was too predictable, the ending felt rushed and that main character was a slut (just had to say it).

The reasons for the guy's actions are way too obvious and it feels like the manga is giving away the ending already. Unfortunately, it did end the way I predicted, though the "action" in the ending was unexpected and giving me WTF thoughts at the same time. ... Somehow, it gives me the impression of a rushed ending. It doesn't make enough sense to me.

As for the MC, she pissed me off big time in the ending. I'm not looking for a surprising/shocking type of ending (might be cool though). I get that "she got abused and liked it" kind of plot, but that ending broke my image of the MC. She just becomes as twisted as the abuser.

6/10 because the art was nice, the characters were fairly depicted (disregarding the ending here) story development kept me wanting the next chapter, and it gave me a hanging question of "Why was it his fault anyway?"

I'm not good with reviews and I don't really want to write them, but I just had to do it for this one. This is my first time reading a doujinshi and I can't say I'm not impressed when I really am. For those who are like me, looking for good stories and seeing the depths of the stories, this is worth a read.

The story is almost just as the synopsis is written here. The synopsis didn't say it was all about "onanie/onani" and, well, it really isn't and it's fine. I don't need a story that circles all around it in the first place.

Quoting ... the synopsis, the manga is supposed to be about "blackmail, bullying, revenge, heartbreak and ultimately, redemption." Blackmail? Meh. Bullying? Probably a lot. Revenge? The clue is the title. Heartbreak? Err, I don't know, didn't feel like it (probably because of the story development until it's end). Redemption? It made the whole thing almost perfect. There were a few things I expected from the story which were not met exactly, rather it was satisfied by the chain of events, and it made sense (for me, that is).

Characters were portrayed fine. The main male character is portrayed nicely, being the "master" and all. I can't find the main heroine, though. Somehow, it felt like there was no main female character, although I like the girl in Chapter 31 (this doesn't count as a spoiler right?). As for the art, can't really say anything. Should I say "It kinda fits the story" or something? Maybe I should leave it at that. It's a doujinshi, can't really judge it the same way as the others.

Overall, I loved it. Could wish for a spin-off or something like a rerun with more chapters and more of the story. Gonna check the sequel for myself, but I still want more. I'm not disappointed with how it ended, though I'm not exactly amazed. "Impressed" is be the right word for it. Still, it's a great story and I admire the author for it. Thumbs up!
