*NO SPOILERS*
Let me just say that I really did enjoy this movie. Hosoda Mamoru is a great director and every work of his I have ever seen has touched me in so many ways with it's beautiful animation, compelling story or well written characters.
"Mirai no mirai" is no different. It's a fantastically written aventure exploring the importance and influence of older siblings on the younger ones.
*STORY: The story is very good, different from other Hosoda films, that so far have explored mainly fatherhood and motherhood, this movie centers it self in the relationship of Kun (that is maybe 3/4 years old) and his newborn sister ... Mirai. Jealousy, anger and revolt are feelings Kun ends up developing towards his little sister, since Kun was a only child he was used to have his parents attention all to himself and he could understand why Mirai changed that, eventually he starts understanding and even sympathizing with Mirai throughout the movie.
*ART: Art is Hosoda's movies doesn't suffer major changes, maybe a little more detail here, a little less detail there but it's a Hosoda movie so you can bet the art is amazing. The characters are simple yet delicate and the setting is a simple beautiful modern house that it actually looks like there's two little children living in there! The rooms always messing, toys everywhere, those little details count not only to the general beauty of the scenario but also to the story's filling. When we change scenes you can expect great smooth transitions and a lot of color in the "peculiar" setting you will eventually get to.
*SOUND: As expected the soundtrack was also good, we had the right beats at the right time and the right feels at the right scene. I especially loved Mirai's theme, a well written piece of calm and satisfying melody to listen to while cooking or cleaing your windows.
*CHARACTER: As for characters we have the main cast, Kun, Mirai and Yukko the dog. All of them really interesting and easy to attach to. Kun is a cute and stubborn little kid that eventually, with some help from the past and the future, learns how to see things a little different from before, he learns how to care for his little sister Mirai, how to, or at least try, help his dad and even how to insert Yukko in this family again, since the poor dog stopped getting much attention since Kun was born. All of the characters were important and had some kind of major role in the story development, even if they only appeard for a couple of scenes.
*ENJOYMENT: Like I said at the begining I really enjoyed this movie, I don't know if it's because it's so relatable but I really liked it and had a really good time watching it.
I really recommend this show, if you're a fan of Hosada's films or not, this is something that you won't regret watching.

So... This is my first review so go easy on me.
This anime is basically about 4 couples, all of them constituted by one human (a teenage boy in the case) and one supernatural creature (that goes from a kind of yellow and superfluffy bear to cyclope twins, being the twins married with the same guy). It shows their daily life basis as a married couple, the "wifes" taking care of the house and sometimes even doing more romantic stuff like going on a date.
Story: I give it a 6, although I enjoyed it I recognize that the story is plain, there's no drama or ... what so ever, it's a pretty white and simple slice of life I would say.
Art: I give it a 6 again, the characters are cute, especially the creatures, but , again, simple. There's nothing wrong about it being simple but there's nothing that you could call eye catching.
Sound: A 7, I liked the score, it wans't bad, especially the ending, through out the 12 episodes there was not even a single time I skipped the ending, it was fun and it goes pretty well with the whole anime.
Character: It's a 7, again, some of them are cute, pretty adorable but... I mean, they are a bunch of guys that married a bunch of creatures, they have moments when they are really adorable but sometimes they can also be a little way too boring.
Enjoyment: It's a 8, despite all I really enjoyed it, it was different, it's not an anime for all the otaku community to watch but it's worth watching, for the right people.
Overall: Its a 7, I liked it, it's not the worst anime I ever watched, also not the best but I still had a really good time watching it. If you want a little romance, a little yaoi, a small slife of life and a ending you can dance to, this is a good shot.
