Mean-spirited comparisons aside, i want to like this manga, i really do, hell i even had a good time reading it but it's just ok at best. The amount of generic shonen anime shit is just so boring at this point, you have a new fantasy world with a new fantasy organization hunting new fantasy monsters by using, yet again, a power system that nobody knows how it works and it really doesn't seem to matter outside of being an excuse for characters to ... do cool stuff. It honestly feels like is ticking all the boxes on a list of things a manga needs to have to be popular with shonen fans and is doing so in the most boring way possible.

Funny enough really don't mind generic shonen stuff, my main problem is that EVERYTHING is here and is being rearranged in the most lazy way possible (it's honestly debatable if it's even being rearranged at all), everything in favor of a manga that would have been the shit, like, 10 years ago, but by today's standards just doesn't fly at all.

I'm kind of disappointed at how bad this is because i think the manga is very aesthetically pleasing, i like the idea of reverse london, the dragons (even though calling them dragons seems more like a thing done for branding purposes since a lot of them don't resemble dragons in the slightest), and the witch organisation has some cool ideas going on, but that's all it really is, some cool ideas, not much outside of it.

Yeah it's pretty bad. I'm generally not a fan of 4-panel comic strips since they are only as good as the jokes you write for them, but eventually i'll come across one that's based on a kind of trope i like and end up reading the whole thing even if i find the jokes to be very mediocre. This is exactly what happened here. I'm a big fan of "the office lady" as a trope and i like office romances so this really hit the spot for me by having all of these things packed in an easy to consume little packet. The jokes ... will give you a chuckle at the very best and while i haven't read all of it it's pretty clear there's no intention of taking the romance anywhere but it was an easy read and i was bored so whatever.
