Well, in my opinion this series is looked over too much as "A imitation of Cowboy Bebop". This is NOT an anime that reserves to be in the shadow of any other anime, even if it is as awesome as Bebop.
The weapons in here were stuff that blew my mind as a kid and still kinda do now. The music is some of the stuff that got my hooked on OSTs (The Opening and Ending Songs especially) and the characters are some of the people that got me hooked on anime.
