A cute action/adventure featuring our favourite crew, The Straw Hats.

It was so strange seeing them animated and hearing their voices, since I've dedicated so much time to reading the series. So this was a weird but cool transition.

Luffy was the same old lovable, loyal and strong Luffy, and I always admire his love and dedication to his crew. He may be young, but he's probably a better captain than those double his age.

And seeing Nami's story broke my heart. She has had to carry so much strength, and such a burden. But seeing how much the Straw Hats love her and love having her as ... part of the team made my heart so happy. Because she is deserving, and so much more, of that love.

The animation, lighting and imagery of this film were absolutely stunning. And because of this, I felt like I wasn't just watching an anime film, but I was watching art.

It was beautiful to see Takaki grow from a sweet young 13 year old boy, to a kind and independent 17 year old, and then to a working class adult. Yes, Takaki grew and changed as a person, but his important traits stayed with him, like his kindness and strength.

Some may argue that the ending of this film was not right, because it wasn't what the norm would expect. But even though this film ended in ... an unexpected way, it was so well done that it actually still left you satisfied.

People will always come and go. People change and grow a part, go on different paths in their lives to others, and it is just part of life. Just something out of your control.

There are some people that will always stay in your heart, even if they are no longer in your lives. But there are also people who decide to stay, despite living a different life, possibly in a different place. Don't take those people for granted. Cherish them. Because they are the best

A sweet ending to my favourite anime series.

This film was probably the perfect way to end the series. This film was so sweet, yet still managed to hit you right in the feels.

I loved seeing the back story of Tohru's parents, and to be able to experience their story together as a couple, as well as the story of Tohru's mother.

I wish I could've seen more of the father's individual story, and a little bit more of Tohru's mother's story. The creators could've used the 33 minutes of recap to show this in my opinion.

Also, the ending with Kyoto and Tohru was beautiful, ... and it was fantastic to see how far they had come, even if if was shown in just a few short minutes.

Watching this made me want to experience the true love that was shown in this film.

Both the visuals and the music in this film were stunningly beautiful.

Unfortunately, this film did take a very long time to get into it. I'm not sure if that was because of how slow paced the storyline was in the first hour or so, or if it was just because of the fact that I've been in not the best head space, which results me pausing things and going back to them, which can take me ages to finish a movie.

Anyway, once it hit, it hit, and it hit well. Hina is incredibly selfless, giving her time away to use her gift to provide sunshine ... and happiness to others. Becoming a solo parent to her brother. And sacrificing herself so the people around her can have a proper summer, rather than rain.

You could tell how much Hina meant to Hodaka, because of how devastated he was when he found out she was disappearing, and went to go find her to bring her home. He made her feel so worthy, even when she wasn't using her gift. He made her feel like she was so much more than her gift. He made her feel loved, romantically and platonically, which was something she really hadn't had in a long time. So I really loved the ending of this film.

I also really loved the Christian aspects that were linked into this film, being a Christian myself. I thought it was a very nice touch

This film is raw, and heart wrenchingly beautiful, hitting you hard and making you feel every emotion.

You felt happiness seeing Hanna find her true love with Wolfman and them starting a family together, while feeling anger and complete devastation watching Hanna loose her husband, and grieving while raising two infants.

Hanna is so strong, determined and persistent, keeping on going and doing everything she can to raise two children by herself. Children with differences that no other children have.

It was amazing being able to see the children grow into two completely different people that you didn't expect, both taking completely different paths. But it made me ... happy to see both living the lives that they want, and following their own individual dreams.

Also, the animation was stunning. I've wanted to see real falling snow, and to feel real, fresh icy snow my whole life. And this film has made the urge even stronger. And every sunset and sunrise in this film was completely stunning

Some of the most beautiful animation that I've seen in anime, this film was so pleasant to look at, especially the scenery. Both the anime films that I've watched recently, Penguin Highway and Ride Your Wave have both had such beautiful animation.

The characters were interesting, and at times questionable and slightly unrealistic. Like Aoyama being a 35 yr old in a 10 yr olds body, and having an unrealistic fascination with breasts. But despite that, I really enjoyed the other characters.

I love how different this film is to anything else. Like the Dentist's Assistant being able to make penguins, like, how cool is that?! I'd ... love to be able to create Adelie penguins like that!

And the whole sea storyline was also so unique, but very cool. I'd recommend this film to others, especially if they love penguins and want to watch something different!

This film turned from a sweet romance, to emotional, to just plain funny.

The animation of this film was quite different to anything that I've ever seen, which made it very unique. I also loved how it was set in a beach town, as that is another rarity that I've found in anime, having just watched one other anime set in a beach town. So I really loved that element to it.

It was really quite sweet seeing the romantic relationship between the two main characters blossom through out the first 1/3 of the film. Then it was so sad seeing the grief of loosing Minoto.

But ... it was so funny watching him come back in the film through his crazy ways, such as in a water bottle, and in a blow up Porpoise. People must've thought Mukaimizu was insane, watching her talk to a water bottle and a blow up porpoise.

It was sad watching Mukaimizu not want to let Minoto go, while not knowing how to. So it was so nice to finally watch her let him go, and to find her independence and herself.

I've always wanted to learn how to surf, but watching this film has made me want to learn even more. And I want to properly learn how to be a barista now too, because I took a one off class a few years back, but never put it into practice. And nothing beats the smell of fresh coffee beans and freshly brewed coffee.

Both myself and a friend of mine have had this on our 'plan to watch' list's for a decent amount of time. So it was really nice for us to watch it together and knock it off our lists. It made for a really nice virtual streaming movie night.

Another easy watching, rom-com anime. My favourite type of anime!

It was just such a great series to chuck onto to just binge on a cruisy, cosy winter afternoon. No intense action, drama or storylines. Just a whole lot of light - heartedness.

I must say, Ryuji is the kindest guy for putting up with all the crap that Taiga put him through. She was constantly being so mean to him. But he took it like a pro, and continued to be the bigger guy.

And it was so nice to see Taiga redeem herself throughout the series. To loose some of her mean character and to ... become more kinder and softer, growing as a person. I wasn't the biggest fan of the whole "cute - angry, tiny girl character". Trust me, I'm very tiny. But I'm definitely not mean or angry. And I'm not particularly cute either.

Also, did anyone else want to slap Ami the majority of the time she was on the show. Her bitchiness, fake barbie storyline really irked me. But I was really glad to see her growth and redemption at the end of the season too.

Also, surely it wasn't just me who knew from like, episode 2 that it was going to be Ryuji and Taiga being endgame, right?! But when they finally kissed in ep 24, well that was the sweetest, most satisfying kiss that I've ever seen in anime.

One of the most wholesome anime that I have seen in long time. An breath of fresh air from binging intense and gory anime, like Demon Slayer, which, don't get me wrong, is an anime that I enjoy, but it's nice to have something that is a lot more wholesome and family - friendly to watch every once in a while.

I think that the winning factor of this series for me was Anya. You can't help but not fall in love with her. This cute little 5 year old girl who is just to pure for this hash world. Who is just too sweet. The ... early childhood teacher in me just wants to give her all the cuddles. Can't I just adopt her instead?!

I have to admit, it was quite rewarding seeing both Loid and Yor step into parenthood, especially Loid. Even though they're pretending, by the end of the series they had parenthood much more in the bag, and taking it by storm

A friend recommended this series to me, and I'm so glad I gave it a go. Would definitely recommend to others!

Such a beautiful film with a beautiful journey. Was definitely a film that once I started watching it, I didn't want to stop.

I loved watching the character development, as it was so different to anything that I had seen.

It was raw, emotional, and beautiful. There were moments where I was metaphorically gripping my seat, moments where I was rooting for the characters, and moments where I felt so sad for what the characters were going through.

Definitely one of my top anime films, if not, the top anime film for me, and for the person who showed it to me too, which is definitely ... one of the best of the many great films they have exposed me and introduced me to.
