Its good for kids, but I rewatched some episodes as an adolescent and I must say the manga is much better. The anime is too cheesy and long. Usually I'm okay with long story lines, only if they have acts continuing on to each other (like in Naruto) The charcters aren't very identifiable at all. I understand Mako is the tomboy, Ami is the nerd, Minako is the wannabe idol, Rei is the hotheaded priestess, Mamarou is the useless love intrest and Usagi is a crybaby hero. But in the anime it really dosen't enhance those characteristics and makes all the charcters look the same
