If you like dark humour and a good psychological thriller, this may be your kind of anime
Coming to this series, I thought it would be another generic Sherlock Holmes knock off that would portray Professor Moriarty as another horrible villain and Sherlock Holmes as the all good, embodiment of god with an otherworldly intellect. When I did watch it I was happy to see the change in pace, portraying Moriarty as a sympathetic villain with a point of view most people would actually be for.
