If you're curious, here are a few of my thoughts concerning my most favourite hobby: animes! (You didn't except somthing else, did you? ;D)

At some point in my life, I set myself the goal of watching every single anime available out there in my lifetime. I know that's quite a far fetched goal, but I'm determined to at least try, because among the sea of animes there are real gems born from human fantasy and it would be quite a shame to miss one of them! (If I find one of those, I just can't stop binge watching them from the beginning to the end, because I get some sort of emotional high from them, followed by a feeling of loss at the end of a series. Maybe you know the feeling too?)

Because of that, I also don't want to drop a single anime. I've actually had quite a few cases where I watched the first few episodes of a series and thought it's really not my cup of tea. I put them on hold for a long time, but when I continued watching them I was quite surprised to realize that the story got really good in the later episodes. After that experience I stopped judging animes after only the first few episodes.

With all of that in mind, there aren't any anime genres, that I won't watch. Now that I think about it, I actually like all genres equally, may it be romantic comedies, typical shounen adventure stories, sports anime, slice of life or mystery/psychological/horror stories. I especially like a plot-concept in animes where the main character has set his/her mind on a certain goal and tries to achieve that goal, with many obstacles and hardships on his/her way but in the end succeeds.
