Dear Mr. Sadao Maou,
My name is Merrian. I am one of your biggest fans and I come visit your MgRonalds every day. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker or anything. I just like eating there.
By the way, I've been meaning to ask you this, but, are you and Chiho Sasaki dating? I mean, you guys are surprisingly close and I even saw you two together at one point. Another thing, there's someone with pink hair following you around everywhere. I think her name was Emi Yusa. Is she any good for you?
Oh, yes!
...
There's another topic I'd like to bring up. What is your opinion on boys' love? A friend of mine visited your house and told me all about it. Her name is Suzuno Kamazuki. She told me that there's another boy in your house by the name of Shirou Ashiya and that he was acting like a wife. So, I was just wondering if you were okay with that.
Now that I've got the important topics out of the way, I'd like to talk about the whole magic and Ente Isla thing that Chiho and Suzune always talk about. It must be so cool to be some sort of demon king from another world! You have to demonstrate some of that magic stuff to me at some point. Seeing as your here now, you must have some sort of space-dimensional powers. Can I go there sometime, please?
On to the question , why are you here in the first place? Did you lose or something because that's what every demon king I know of in games and manga do when they lose. But, if that were the case, then, wouldn't the pink-haired chick be the hero that whooped your butt? Or is she in love with you? Then again, that'd make her a stalker either way. Creepy.
Anyway, I would like a response to this letter as soon as possible. I want to hear from you outside the register. Thanks, again for taking the time to read this!

3rd Review: (And maybe some spoilers...)
Remember that time that you believed wishing wells actually granted your wishes and you would always throw money carelessly down that well so that they would come true? Well, it's back in the form of a cat. A cat statue to be precise.
That is the plot device of "Hentai" Ouji to Warawanai Neko.
By the way, because this is cat-based, I will be typing meow in random parts of this review. Meow.
Story [8/10]
It seems like something is either wrong with you or the world is gonna end when a statue of a cat can actually grant your wishes and
...
that is exactly what happens to our fellow main characters. Although, things don't go as well as they should and now, they may have just gotten a turn for the worse and I love it. All the chaos that a wish-granting cat can ensue is pure genius, but also a little restricting considering that the main characters can't even pull their own weight and turn to their cat friend instead. Meow. Now, where's a well when i need one?
Art [8/10]
The art is...beautiful? Is that even the right word? No. Meow. The art is very cute and is clean. The characters were detailed and the eyes just spurred emotion from them. The transition was also quite smooth. Some improvement can be done for some parts to show more of the emotion, though. No complaints otherwise!
Sound [7/10]
Meow. The opening was quite catchy and the ending was decent but, nothing too memorable can be dug up from that. However, the voice actors did quite a good job for this anime and they were stable for the most part, especially a black-haired emotionless girl that we might know. The music for the entire anime didn't stand out very much, so nothing to comment on there.
Character[8/10]
Seems like the try-to-be-noticed pervert by the name of Youto Yokodera may not be as bad as he is at second glance, which would make him favorable despite his perverseness for a majority of the anime. Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi(too many T's, people!) could also be likable despite the emotionless situation she's got herself into. Or maybe people like Tsukushi Tsutsukakushi( who actually believes Youto has a twin brother) and Azusa Azuki (at some points, I thought she looked like a cat. Meow.) are one's preferred type. Either way, all these character's interactions with each other are what made the difference in this story and I like it.
Enjoyment[8/10]
I love cats(so, go away dog lovers). That is one particular reason I could enjoy this anime. The characters somewhat unexpected interactions are what kept me interested. However, what really got to me was the potential of the almighty cat statue. It is like the ultimate plot device of this anime because anything and everything that happens is because of it. Meow. Storms, personality change, the end of the world, you name it and I loved every second of the stony cat's crazy wish-granting. Period.
Overall[8/10]
By the end of this anime, I learned two very essential things:
1. Do NOT underestimate cat gods...or statues...or even rocks that look like cats. Or cats. Especially cats. MEOW!
2. Do NOT make wishes that you will probably regret in the future. Note to kids, don't randomly throw money down a well because you will probably regret it in the future too. (I've probably ruined all the children's hopes and dreams now..)
Between perverts, airheads, the uncaring and the popular, I do not have many complaints about this anime and enjoyed it through and through.
By the way, did any of you realize Tsukiko looks like a replica of Rikka Takanashi from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!?
~~Nyaaaaaaa!!~~

2nd Review:
My impression of this anime from the first episode was...well...me. I like to escape reality when I find it too difficult. I just daydream all day when I feel bored. I like to cos play and act like my favorite character sometimes, too.
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! or Regardless of My Adolescent Delusions of Grandeur, I Want A Date! takes a romantic comedy and combine it with all the cos playing and fantasies one could ever hope for!
Story [8/10]:
Despite all of it's comedic and fantasy-like moments, this anime twisted my emotions around. One minute, I was seeing the 'Wielder of the
...
Wicked Eye' attempting to summon the 'Dark Flame Master', and the next, people who are slowly trying to rethink and reflect on themselves while looking at the 'Horizon'. That's just the kind of story I had to deal with and it was all great. (A few tearjerker moments that really touched me, too.)
Art [9/10]:
I just want to thank people like those of Kyoto Animation for doing such an awesome job with this anime. The characters were well done, the background features were clean, I love what they did with the delusions as well. The transitions are smooth, for the most part, just a little bit choppy in some scenes. But, other than that, no complaints here.
Sound [8/10]:
Whether it's upbeat music or just a quiet, little tune on a piano, the sound in this anime fits well with many parts. They are, for the most part, what I though set the mood and atmosphere. The emotional scenes were set with something beautiful and the funny parts, well, let's say, were more quirky. The opening and ending songs were energetic and explained the story and what some of the characters were going through as well.
Character[9/10]:
I absolutely loved the characters of this story. I loved how they were making their delusions come to life. I also loved those that are trying to switch from those horrible memories they lived to a normal life. Take Yuuta Togashi and Shinka Nibutani, The 'normal' ones of the group. Then, from the mood-makers of the story, enter people like Rikka Takanashi and Sanae Dekomori who aren't afraid to clown around and say embarrassing things no one wants to hear. With all these characters, it made sure to keep me interested.
Enjoyment[10/10]:
This anime reminded me of what I don't have. Lack of embarrassment, love(I'm single, got a problem?), and all that imagination I would die to have. The eye-catching scenes in every episode, whether it'd be dramatic, comedic or those delusional battle scene performances are what kept me hooked, leaving me to want more of it. Almost every aspect of this anime also seem to fit together quite nicely in every episode as well.
Overall [10/10]:
If i could, I would give every person who contributed to this anime a pat on the back and give them a 100+ word comment on everything they did well. This anime left me wanting more of these goofy characters that I found insatiable. Thank goodness that they are making a sequel to this anime!

Danganronpa: Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei - The Animation.
Which can only mean it is..a game adaptation. Now, I have NOT played the game. So, I will be reviewing it just for the anime.
By the way, this is my first review. So, yeah.
Story [8/10]
I'm going to be honest, I loved how fast paced this was. It was what I was looking for for a while now. For every episode, there is either a new murder case or another of the infamous Classroom Trial. New mysteries lead to more questions and sometimes make me wonder
...
what could happen next or how could this lead to that, making that mysterious atmosphere. Then, the Classroom Trial comes and after figuring out all the clues and missing pieces, someone still had to die in the end. All because of a teddy bear. (This anime or the game is not recommended for the little of age.)
But, if there is one negative thing I have to say about the story, it is that it felt rushed to me(will be discussed in the enjoyment section).
Art [8/10]
Switching from 2-D to 3-D and back again was definitely news to me and though the 2-D aspect was not the best-looking, the 3-D part of it stood out to me, sort of. For the most part, the art is solid and the animation is smooth but it is not always constant, being that it is not clear sometimes. The characters are quite solid and a little simplistic(how I like it), but, again, is not always constant. (By the way, the fact that the blood is pink in this anime made the victims look awkward.)
Sound [6/10]
For the sound and music aspect of this anime, it is not anything particularly special. Certain music would play at the right time sometimes, and sometimes, not so much. The sound, to me, were more average than good.
The opening and the ending wasn't anything that stood out to me either. Although, the opening did surprise me with it's English lyrics and it sounded decent so, it was not all bad. Overall, it isn't very memorable for me in any way.
Character [7/10]
Being introduced to 16? characters of the anime right off the bat was a bit overwhelming for me and trying to remember every single name so I don't get confused was a bit of a chore at first. However, as I got to know characters like the optimistic Naegi Makoto or the ever-so-mysterious Kyouko Kirigiri, it turned out to be less confusing than I first thought. From average people like Sayaka Maizono and Leon Kuwata to people who have...other agendas like Monokuma him?self made it interesting for me.
Now, the main problem with this anime is that there isn't enough character development. Most characters either don't change or hardly change at all. The reason lies within the fact that there just isn't enough 'space' to put in that character development(which I will discuss in the next section).
Enjoyment [7/10]
Alright, I'm at the bottom of the bucket and I have but 3 words. Not. Enough. Episodes. This is where the problem of the anime lies. The plot definitely felt rushed to a point where I don't even get what I'm trying to figure out from the story and, since they are following a game, even just putting the plot into 13 episodes seems to leave, literally, no room for a filler episode or even some decent character development. Just saying.
I'm not saying it's all bad since this was the kind of thing I was looking for in a long time. A good fast-paced anime with some sort of mystery aspect to it. The whole thing about hope and despair was cheesy, but I was okay with it. Survival was also a big concept considering there's lots of blood(pink) in this...and lots of dying too, which I also enjoy in a show.
Overall [8/10]
I don't exactly have much complaints over this anime except that there isn't enough episodes to go around. But, overall, the thirteen weeks I spent to watch this anime was, more or less worth it in my opinion. So, if there will be an anime adaptation for the sequel of the first game this was adapted from, I am definitely hoping it will be better than this one...and more episodes. DEFINITELY more episodes.
