After watching Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo, it had basically reaffirmed by belief that old hentai is just leagues better than anything that I’ve watched recently. Ane Yome Quartet continues to prove that my belief in older hentai is absolutely warranted. It has a great ensemble cast making up its harem and each girl is as loveable as the next so while the story is basic, sometimes making something basic and executing on it extremely well can lead to a much greater experience than trying and failing to make something complex.
Story : 7
Like I said, the story is pretty mid as far as I’m concerned.
...
MC-kun’s family is pretty close with the neighbors and when MC-kun’s parents decide to go on a trip abroad with the neighboring family’s parents, they unanimously decide to let MC-kun stay over at the neighbors’ house so that he can get to know the daughters and choose one to marry because the dads being bros want to become one happy family. So yeah it’s pretty basic and it's definitely something that has been done to death not only in hentai but in anime as well, but it fulfills its purpose in a non-offensive way. You can’t really have fun with hentai if you withhold your suspension of disbelief, but I honestly give it a pass as a cheap method to get our MC into these whacky erotic situations. The writing itself is pretty uninspired, but what really makes this hentai good is the character interactions which the story facilitates and while the harem girl archetypes I leaned towards got a lot more dialogue and felt more fleshed out, two of the girls were quite honestly snubbed but I’ll get into that later.
Art and Animation : 8
The art and animation isn’t everyone’s cup of tea as many may be conditioned to enjoy the much more “high quality” art that comes out today, but I implore those who think the art is bad to look past the shiny exterior of new hentai and really take a closer look at how they are drawn. You can see how the animators of Ane Yome Quartet put the time and effort to create these environments and distinct character designs while in a lot of hentai I see today there is this pretty offensive trend in background art where it almost looks like they just took a picture of a room and added a blur or displacement effect in order to make the picture look drawn leading to a lack of detail that disconnects the characters from the setting. Furthermore, Ane Yome Quartet never lingers too much during the ero-scenes and they are constantly switching up the scenes in order to keep the viewer engaged in what is going on.
Characters : 8
This is truly where the hentai shines in my opinion. We have four girls of various personalities vying for MC-kun’s love in an unexpected and sudden situation thrust upon by their parents. Each girl opens up to him and we basically let them make their case as to why they should be the best girl but as I said two of the girls got completely snubbed and while the score says 8 it’s because I really like the girls that were focused on.
Saori Hanabishi - the NEET shut-in maid
I really like Saori and upon first meeting the girls she really stood out to me as this mellow dandere girl who needs to be loved and protected from the atrocities of the world. She also has a more distinct design with the maid outfit making her stick out like a sore thumb but genuinely she made the strongest first impression despite being the most reserved of the bunch. The writers make it very obvious that she hates the outside world and I can personally relate to that struggle which just makes her a very endearing character and although it is a very short character arc I have to give her props for braving her fears and going outside because she is worried about MC-kun. As a viewer, I’m basically getting hit over and over by a barrage of ‘must protecc’ signals and even her out-of-character forward approach to MC-kun when they get back to the house is actually a result of the shifted paradigm where she had taken care of MC-kun before but now he was the one who takes care of her which causes her to realize he has grown and that her affection for him is valid in some sense. The ero-scenes reflect this further as at least in this environment she is taking a more proactive approach and breaks out of her shell which creates a cohesive story circle for her specifically. (Also she basically reminds me of Kaede from Bunny Girl Senpai, I mean she’s wearing an animal onesie in the final scenes)
Yurina Hanabishi - the out-of-reach older sister
Yurina is one of the two characters I found was somewhat underdeveloped and I attribute this to the limited time they interact before they fuck. To kick things off, she suddenly just unzips his pants and sucks his dick randomly which feels really odd in terms of pacing. I like their back and forth banter during the entire scene though and we can see her personality shine through but it's basically just the older sister archetype we all know so well. I felt that she was more plot device than actual character though as the result of her part of the story was really just to remind MC-kun that there is an ultimatum he has to meet and that he needs to face it. The saving grace for her character is further on when she tells MC-kun to go after Anzu and is confronted by Saori over why she told him to go. Her motivation that she wanted to let Anzu to realize her own emotions so she wouldn’t feel regret puts into light her previous conversations with MC-kun that she really is this caring big sister who despite having her own interest in MC-kun would still like to help her sisters cultivate their feelings and growth.
Momone Hanabishi - the airheaded big boobs sister I guess?
I don’t really know how to classify Momone, she kinda just feels like that one character with big boobs and she wants to smother you in them which I’m not opposed to but leaves her as the weakest character in the show. She has some dialogue that tries to be introspective of their whole situation and create this metaphor for the show but it kinda feels tacked on to give her some personality then they just fuck. The best thing I can say about her part is that it was pretty hilarious when their sex transferred his cold to her.
Anzu Hanabishi - the tsundere (what else can I say we all love tsunderes)
Anzu is kinda annoying at the start, but it reflects her immature mentality perfectly so I just let it slide. She is the youngest of the sisters and while Momone wears her heart on her sleeves and the other two girls have no problem talking to MC-kun, she also has feelings for him but in her adolescent insecurity she just can’t talk to him which builds up frustration inside her leading to her outburst. By herself, she finally faces her feelings for him and by finally having a chance to confront MC-kun alone without her sisters around, she can finally face her feelings for him. Is it perfect? Far from it. It’s actually kinda weird since she 180s really quickly but the ero-scene makes up for it as she lets out all her emotions for MC-kun in a moment of catharsis.
These girls being able to grow and bounce off our cookie-cutter MC is honestly really good and has some good character development. A majority of the runtime is dedicated to small character interactions and since we already know what to expect from these kinds of stories, what’s important is that they were able to execute it well with compelling girls that compel you to choose your best girl
Enjoyment : 9
I really enjoyed this hentai, there were a few glaring issues but all the girls are so loveable and cute that seeing their moment in the spotlight was really satisfying. Visually, it was executed really well and makes me reminisce of a better time for hentai so while it may look dated in style, it still stands the test of time in my opinion. It is very vanilla I will say and for those looking for a more exotic show this definitely will bore you but if you just want something cozy and safe then this is the way to go

Kohakuiro no Hunter The Animation
(Anime)
add
Recommended Preliminary
(2/2 eps)
TAG WARNING : Futa but guy doesn’t get fucked in the ass but he does suck the dick
EDIT : Episode 2 is dogshit for the most part, the ending shows Erica going off on her journey which is pretty nice but for the most part you could just leave it at Episode 1 It has been a hot minute since I last watched a hentai, everything I tried in the past few months has felt bland, unoriginal and lifeless. However, during a Discord call while getting my friends to name a hentai based on the synopsis I stumbled upon some hentai that actually piqued my ... interest including Kohakurio no Hunter (also the futa tag helped quite a bit). Finally after so long I sat through an entire hentai and found myself not disgusted at the horny monster residing within myself because not only is this hentai rather wholesome but it also had heart. Story : 6 This hentai actually lacks much of a story, which is to be expected since it is just a promo for an erogame so in that regard some of the glaring issues, such as cutting to snippets of another character, can be forgiven. While the world building isn’t super interesting off the bat, it does intrigue the viewer and invites them to come and explore the world of Kohakurio no Hunter. What it does well is in the characters, emotionally involving us in our female lead while exploring her past and how it will affect her future, giving us context for her actions and building the foundation of her character. So while normally I would give the story a 4 or 5 since this is a one-shot and it doesn’t make sense to leave it as it is, I will forgive it under these circumstances since it is meant to be a precursor to the erogame. Art and Animation : 8 There may be people outraged over the fact that I gave this hentai such a high score however I will stand firm in my statement that this hentai earned every single point. First and foremost, I am not blind and I do see how unrefined the artstyle is with certain animations being very obviously cycled for a bit too long, yet to my eye it still looks a million times better than the rest of the new age of hentai which are in my opinion much too shiny and formulaic. To me, this hentai has heart behind it and while it makes sacrifices in quality, it makes up for those sacrifices with little details which overall build up to a great viewing experience that feels novel in this day and age. During the sex scene, they play with difference camera angles, adding the drops of liquid obscuring some of the view and as they dance together into the night the light dims and we begin to feel the intimacy between the two grow with the cooler blue tones enveloping them. These little things just express that real people who care about their craft worked and thought this through which really made my viewing experience that much better. Characters : 7 Within a single episode, we are introduced to our main leads Erika and Azul with the opening shot quickly establishing the dynamic between the two, with Erika being very comfortable around Azul and Azul’s romantic interest in Erika being laid out plain as day. With Erika’s conversations with the priest they establish the monster problem of the village leading to the actual fight where we see Azul lose his father who dies protecting him. In the aftermath, Erika’s discussion with the priest and sister introduces us to Erika’s backstory of how she was saved and also how she is able to understand Azul since she has had her fair share of traumatic experiences. We see the culmination of this in the final act when Erika gets Azul to open up to her and through reciprocation of love she is able to comfort him and help him face the future. Within a 30 minute episode, this hentai is able to establish the framework of the character as well as providing the motivations for her future actions to become an adventurer which sets up for the erogame. Once again, the characters aren’t the most interesting ones in the world and really it falls to the art here as to why some of the character development doesn’t work out too well. We see the harrowing tale of a boy seemingly losing his only family and yet it doesn’t feel that impactful as his reclusivity is way too quickly washed away by Erika’s embrace. Ideally, this opening story would’ve worked much better given a better budget as I envision something akin to Vinland Saga’s prologue where Thorfinn loses his father and that's where he withdraws himself however it is a hentai at the end of the day. Personally I would’ve cut down on the sex and had Erika spend more time drawing Azul out of his depressive state which would’ve felt more natural however the end goal really seems to be adding greater stakes to Erika’s journey as she connects with someone who would be crushed if she perished. While it is generally quite mediocre, they had to cram that all into 30 minutes which is plenty when there are more adventures to be had in the erogame. Music : 10 I’m going to take this section to gush over the opening song because it bops, it bops hard. Honestly in terms of the audio of this show, it was a bit lackluster and while the VAs did a serviceable job the real issue was the ambient sounds and the audio mixing however that isn’t what I want to talk about. I just need to link the song on YouTube(https://youtu.be/CgulqzaQJ_Y), take a listen as it makes a world of difference in comparison to how it sounded on the hentai. Of course they had a decent budget considering it is the opening of the erogame itself but for a hentai this is something I would legitimately put into my playlist, I mean I already have. Enjoyment : 8 While objectively this is quite a mediocre hentai, I personally had a great time. It has been a while since I felt life from a hentai as I’ve watched a couple bad shows in a row which either scarred me far too much or just hit me the wrong way. In comparison, Kohakuiro no Hunter was filled to the brim with personality in all the stylistic choices it was allowed with a great OP to boot. It has been a highlight of my month so far and has gotten me back into the swing of things in terms of watching hentai. Also the elf dick was good, I mean it wasn’t necessary but like all the other little things in this hentai it just made the viewing experience feel that much better.

To say Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo has been the greatest hentai I have watched this year would be an understatement as it just shows how low the hentai industry has declined over the years, a glaring indictment of the current state of hentai as compared to its former glory. This hentai is absolutely brimming with substance, from the intriguing plot line to the cinematography of critical points in the story and the characters with their distinct and unique identities, it really makes me nostalgic for that bygone era when hentai was expected to be good whereas nowadays the attitude seems cynical and sour. There
...
aren’t enough words to summarize why this hentai is just so damn good so let’s just get into each section, shall we?
Story : 10 What starts out as a typical “my childhood friends who are all sisters and their parents have died so I’ve come to live with them” shtick quickly evolves into a journey of rediscovering bonds long forgotten. Our MC hasn’t seen these girls in a long time and while we have seen this “oh my god she’s hot let me fuck her” over and over again, this hentai knows how to take its time and slowly build up to the actual explicit scenes with a few caveat (i.e. the train scene) but its a hentai so we’ll let those slide because when you look at the pacing as a whole, it is much slower and calculated rather than just jumping into it like most hentai nowadays does it. It is just generally refreshing to have a more realistic experience with the lucky lecher slider still pushed pretty far but not to the absolute extreme. We slowly build up this harem and through the non-explicit scenes we see how each girl reveals their feelings to him and while we see their tropey side on display, in these moments of intimacy they reveal a side of themselves to MC-kun that just adds a tangible depth enhancing the overall experience. What really sets this hentai apart in terms of storytelling is the way the story is divided out into the three episodes. The first episode introduces us into the world, establishes relationships and eases MC-kun into his new life much like we are being eased into the hentai, this is followed up by a more casual episode where we get more character interaction while a secondary plot line introduces the main conflict of the show and the third episode addresses and resolves the conflict while solidifying the main character relationships. This approach allows the viewer to enjoy the story at a leisurely pace and has a lot of creative visual gags and jokes which kept me engaged. Furthermore, they added a lot of little details throughout the show hinting towards the main conflict and those details you pick up on make a lot of sense once the resolution is revealed which adds extra rewatchability and satisfaction when finishing the show. Art and Animation : 9 The art and animation of this hentai absolutely blew me away and I feel like I say this every time but truly with these older hentai, while they may have a certain style that is subjective, objectively you cannot deny that you can feel a lot more love and passion put into these frames than modern hentai. Add on the many visual gags, with chibi versions of the characters as well as that Alien reference, you can tell the production team definitely had fun with this show because there was no reason to add that much detail but they still did it anyway. The camera angles were also a big differentiating factor as the camera is not static for long, constantly changing to different angles while reusing as few animations as possible so it never felt like animation cycling. Visually it was very dynamic and each character had different traits that played into their personalities reflected in their movement and helped give each and every character their unique presence. Characters : 9 While arguably, these characters didn’t go through much development, you don’t always have to have development especially in a SoL comfort show type of hentai. As long as these characters interacted well with each other and were all generally likeable, it thrived on the relationships being rebuilt and strengthened through experiences. As a viewer, I was moderately invested and the feel-good ending helped solidify this comfort-type experience the show was trying to provide. Out of all the girls, it felt like Mafuyu’s trope of sadistic loli was played out the best but each girl still shined in their own way. No single trope was overplayed as a lot of the casual interactions were cut with jokes in between to keep things fresh and more serious interactions were played up to their best possible form which made the typical “hentai protag just fucks all the girls” a lot more believable because they all loved him equally and it was less of choosing a single girl because he had been through so much and shared so much with all of them. Best Boy Honnouji I’d like to just leave this section to appreciate the glue that kept the comedy of this show together. My boy Honnouji was the poor comic relief in a hentai and got absolutely nothing for it so let’s pour one out for the realest one. Enjoyment : 10 This hentai was a good trip back when I first got into hentai. The story didn’t feel cheap or rushed, there was deliberate care and thought put into this show in every single aspect. It didn’t need the crutch of explicit scenes to carry it because people would still watch it regardless in my opinion. It was just so much fun, with not a single bad character, with not a single moment of dead weight, with just the right amount of comedy and a plot that wasn’t mind blowing but kept me intrigued in more than just the fucking to be had. Such a solid and well-rounded experience you’d be pressed to find anywhere else

Isekai Harem Monogatari
(Anime)

Mixed Feelings
This hentai just makes me sad. I swear I can’t find anything good to watch these days and honestly “anime” like Ishuzoku Reviewers and even goddamn Redo of Healer in all their censored softcore glory do more for me than pure, unadulterated hentai. I admit I have some unrealistic expectations for hentai but nothing really entertains me anymore though with such a generic title as “Isekai Harem Monogatari” I assumed it was a satirical hentai that made fun of the isekai harem anime that are so prevalent season after season, boy was I wrong.
Story : 4 The story starts out rather comically and accepts the ... ridiculous situation of our MC, who is a self-proclaimed jerk-off addict spending upwards of 10 hours a day fapping. Straight off the bat it's pretty funny with it’s self-awareness. In the middle of his daily session, he is summoned by adventurers in another world to aid them - with his semen. Apparently our hero’s semen has the ability to amplify the physical strength and magical aptitude of those that take the mystical bodily fluids inside themselves with the convenient caveat that it wears off after a few hours. After defeating some monsters, the cast of four take up residence in an inn where our MC bones all three to sleep then proceeds to bang the innkeeper the next morning because of course he can. He then goes to see each girl of the party and bangs them individually as they prepare for their excursion to the capital. Then the hot spring baths open up in the inn because of course they do and they bang some more. To spice things up they add a dog-girl to the party as they head out and she gets so incredibly horny listening to him bang all three girls to sleep that he also ends up banging her. On their way to the capital, they are met with a horde of monsters so, you guessed it, they bang again to power up and beat the horde (which is barely shown) then they proceed to the capital and that’s it. This hentai had so many opportunities to be interesting, to world build, to be funny or even just to shake things up in a fantasy setting with either the fucking or the fighting. Instead they just give us a bunch of lackluster boink exhibitions and end it. I guess it’s a promo for the visual novel but as Kohakuiro no Hunter has shown us that level of intrigue can be achieved in fewer episodes while this hentai is just plain and boring and even if the VN was interesting I wouldn’t know it based on this introduction. This is just bland, boring and uninspired so while it has great potential, I barely saw that come into fruition at all besides the first minute or so of dialogue Art and Animation : 7 Just because it was poorly written doesn’t mean it can’t look good. This is definitely a good looking hentai with great character design and good animation for all the scenes where there was any movement at all. Every character is visually appealing with my personal favorite character being the innkeeper, Natalia. Other than that, there isn’t much else to say as I can’t complain about something if isn’t there given the apparent lack of scenes that don’t involve sex. Characters : 4 Besides our MC, the other characters just kinda meld together and while each girl has the own identity it just never stuck out much. They all basically gave in to our MC-kun besides a few quippy lines here and there it was pretty basic. The only character that stood out to me was the absolute gigachad that is our MC. His early line about shooting out a lifetime of semen as he died definitely made me laugh out loud and in general he is without a doubt the hero of prophecy. He is able to bang three trained warriors to sleep every night, proceeds to bang the innkeeper the very next morning and it seems like he has a bottomless supply of semen at his disposal given that he jacks off ten hours a day. He is just built differently from us mortal men so he has the chops to save the world from the demon king. Enjoyment : 4 It's not so much that this hentai is bad or anything, I even think the majority of people who watch it will absolutely enjoy it as its 7.51 MyAnimeList score suggests. It's just the most boring and basic shit I’ve ever seen and the only reason I could fathom gave it such a high score is that it is risk-averse and vanilla with almost no wild fetishes being involved making it a universally likeable hentai. Personally, I just thought it was painfully boring as if you read my story summary, which is basically verbatim how the story progressed over 4 EPISODES then you understand my frustration as a 4 episode hentai, which by today’s standards is fairly lengthy, has a plotline written conceived by someone with the mental capacity of a child. But if you want the safest fap you can get, something far away from rape, NTR, ugly bastard, torture, domination than this might be your safe space but I could recommend a bunch of much better vanilla hentai

I love sports anime and you know when I heard this was a lacrosse hentai, I won’t lie that there was an inkling of hope in me that it would embody some of the sports anime energy that gets me so pumped. Looking back, I was a real idiot to have hope because believe it or not a lacrosse hentai barely has any sports scenes and its just plain fucking. This is just another run-of-the-mill hentai with minimal extra content between the sex and its just kinda boring despite what a colorful cast of characters would have you believe.
Story : 5 Basically this hentai has the ... barest semblance of a plot where we have an introduction to a situation leading to a conflict or problem that is resolved in the final act usually via fucking. If that sounds boring than as a person constantly immersed in hentai then yeah it definitely is boring. The hentai takes an episodic approach with the first episode serving to introduce us to each character in an overplayed narrated sequence going over each character’s personality, which is frankly just lazy, then leading to fucking and we just get more of the same in the second episode. It is just bland and uninspired as I have definitely seen better approaches to an ensemble cast of characters and being able to use every character effectively such as Eroge! H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai. Given such a great lineup of characters that were unique in your own way, it felt like a waste not to use them all by cutting down on the sex scenes and giving us more variation which I believe even the most degraded coomers wouldn’t be opposed to as it just creates a more exciting experience for everyone. Art and Animation : 7.5 Surprisingly this hentai is quite well-made despite my qualls regarding the basic plot structure and overall content of the show. Nothing feels too repetitive and it has a kinetic energy about the scenes that help you feel a little alive in such a dull viewing experience. While I still hold up my stance regarding motion blur in hentai, especially in Master Piece the Animation, I will admit it is done well here. I’m not sure what exactly differentiates this approach to Master Piece but it didn’t give me a headache which I would consider a vast improvement. If I were to take a shot in the dark, it would be that there was a general rhythm to each scene that I could follow and didn’t disorient me. Furthermore, the character designs are quite well-done and no two characters feel alike which enhances the voice acting as paired together they embody a well-defined character. All of them have a distinct style and seeing as first impressions are important they help reinforce each identity to a great extent. All in all, this hentai definitely put in some effort visually and is a stark contrast to most hentai that have this “blurry” style which really takes me out of the experience most of the time. I would say the first episode left a greater impact visually with the night time setting and every gleaming surface enhanced by that midnight backdrop. Characters : 7.5 Imma be real with you here chief, I watched the show yesterday and besides the two main girls most of the characters left my mind so while on first viewing they all individually stuck out to me, by no means were the characters ultra memorable. Of all the girls, I felt that Kise had the greatest character arc with a decent resolution but it felt like every other girl was left to the wayside, including episode 2’s star Momoi. Within this group, there are a dynamic bunch of characters from the tsundere to the kuudere to the childish tomboy with this diversity accentuating the identity of each other. There was great potential for an exploration of each character or even storylines involving multiple girls at the same time which would’ve also given us deeper insight into the characters through their interactions. Instead we got nothing. Kise and Momoi feel like they’re on their own islands apart from the other girls who serve as minor characters which they aren’t set up to feel like at all. Momoi has the weakest storyline with her development being “sensei fucked, horny gone”. Meanwhile Kise had a rather strong arc as she went on to defy character expectations of, even me the viewer, along with the sensei through which experience the hentai. We got a peek into her internal struggle of fitting the mould she was cast into as well as her true identity which comes to a head when she forces her sensei to be the first person to acknowledge that side of her own she had ever known. It is a great subversion of a hentai/anime character tropes and actually makes the audience develop a bond with the character. I’d also like to give a shout out to the voice actors because they exceeded what was expected of them for this being a hentai. Each girl got their own distinct voice and despite this hentai’s attempts to sabotage its own character development, with the character designs and VAs genuine effort they established a strong foundation for each character that shone through, so props to them. Sports Anime Spirit : .5 I mean they showed some sports at the end and showed the equipment as well as kinda explaining some of the roles in lacrosse but overall there was nothing here for a sports anime fan like myself. Like come on, don’t cheapen the breakthrough of a character’s internal struggle to overcome a wall they hit by “do thing once and you’re good to go”. I don’t know what I was expecting but with the lowest of expectations I was thoroughly disappointed that they didn’t give me anything. Enjoyment : 6 Overall this hentai is fine with good characters, one somewhat compelling character arc, great voice acting and above average animation. If you’re looking for something deeper or any actions besides fucking you’ll be hard pressed to find it here, but if you just need to get your rocks off then be my guest. You won’t regret picking this up, it's a very safe bet and you’ll part ways with it amicably.

Love 2 Quad
(Anime)
add
Recommended When you read the synopsis of Love 2 Quad then actually go and watch the show, the only reaction you’ll have is “Huh?”. You will experience the purest, unadulterated form of confusion as you start the show, hoping for some sort of explanation halfway through but you keep marching forward and by the end you still have no idea what is going on. I was going to play the visual novel so I could provide the viewers of this hentai with some reprieve and quench that curiosity as to what the hell the story is actually about however I am sad to say that I ... could not find an English translated version of the visual novel. However disregarding the absolute lack of story in the show, the pacing and visuals were still onpoint with some of the greatest voice acting I’ve ever witnessed from a hentai. Story : 4 The synopsis provided on hanime.tv shapes this hentai out to be some wacky time travel mystery organization fighting an out of this world enemy adventure however we barely get any of that from the hentai. Even within the first episode, we are just thrust into the thick of it with two characters we are never formally introduced to with the “flashback introduction” creating even more confusion. By the second episode, you will definitely feel like you’re not supposed to be watching this, as if you had randomly clicked on the 14th episode of a 25 episode story-driven show with nods to characters and past situations that the show is expecting you to know. While this may work for the fans of the original visual novel, for the unfamiliar this all comes off as a hentai with just a trace of storytelling put into it jumping from character to character. So unless you actually played the visual novel, then this hentai will be just downright confusing. Art and Animation : 8 Now as I mentioned in the introduction, while you may not understand what the hell is going on as you ferociously beat your meat, at least you’ll have a good time not understanding what the hell is going on. Visually this is definitely an above-average hentai and once again shows how older hentai was visually superior to what has come out in recent times. From the character expressions, backgrounds and animations nothing feels ‘budget’ and it never takes away from the experience which is what I believe visuals in hentai should aim for. It isn’t like I don’t want some ufotable UNLIMITED BUDGETWORKS type of hentai but if we’re being realistic the artstyle and animation should at least not detract from the hentai watching experience and Love 2 Quad’s art and animation do not disappoint. Characters : 7.5 The characters along with the voice-acting were truly the highlight of the fap for me. While I often gush about a hentai being able to convey great character development efficiently given the nature of hentai running for few episodes where most of their screentime consists of fucking or being fucked, this show has some truly spectaculary VAs that brought the characters to life. While contextually I was lost, every moment with Honoka or Ermalit helped build a strong image of who these characters were, how they related to our MC. We were able to see, in Ermalit’s case, the struggle manifested within her psyche that our MC somehow saved her from which shows her true feelings towards him. We see towards the final act how this comes full circle as she expresses her deeper feelings towards MC-kun and lets down the walls she held up from some unknown past trauma. In Honoka’s case, much like Ermalit’s tsundere archetype, we are treated to a great incarnation of that beloved younger sister archetype we all know and love. In both girls' cases, there isn’t one outright thing that makes these things special but rather it is a slow burn build up where the characters aren’t special, rather we find value in the sum of the parts. Every little thing they do, from how they speak, how they act, how their inner monologues go slowly builds a beloved character in our mind that differentiates from the moulds these characters are initially cut from. All the silly things Honoka does, how she treats MC-kun with this feeling of unease and trepidation at losing him, how she fapped with his boxers over her head. In all that hilarity, we find something not quite relatable but still endearing in an imouto, so while he does fuck her and I wouldn’t do that in reality, you come out with this adoration for the smol imouto who is trying her absolute best and you can’t really fault her for that can you? Voice Acting Performance : 10 (Ok I know they aren’t siblings but they give off a bro-sis dynamic so just go with it) So while there was great character execution, I’m not quite ready to give it an amazingly high rating because much of that character comes through in the voice acting and boy is this one high class affair. Both main female character VAs poured their everything into this performance and you can just feel it as you get such a strong image of these characters from their very first line of dialogue. With Ermalit, you are introduced to her with a cold, masochistic line oozing with her very disgust for you yet you can feel it isn’t quite as harsh as it first appears. Layers and layers of the character are prevalent in each line of dialogue and as we unpackage that complex performance then does it become so brilliant. At no point does Ermalit sell some utter hatred of you, in fact you know that she does like you quite a great deal yet if you look at it from a surface level that is nowhere to be seen. Yet when she has a bad dream, in one line you sense her vulnerability and like a perfect embodiment of a tsundere, the VA is able to snap between those two sides seamlessly without it feeling unnatural. While casually browsing the anime’s page this, the reason why she was voiced so well becomes all too apparent. There, like a rare gemstone, I saw it “Hiromi Igarashi”, an actual VA’s name. Such a rare sight to see a VA who has done other non-hentai works being in things as big as Overlord and Isekai Quartet to the legendary Oni Chichi franchise’s leading lady. Obviously she, unlike some voice actors (yes I’m looking at you Daisuke Hirakawa voice of epic gamer Kakyoin who voiced Tamotsu from Boku no Pico), actually isn’t ashamed to voice a hentai and thus she is able to put a great deal of passion into her voice acting performance no matter the medium. On the other side of the spectrum, we have an uncredited VA who voiced little sister Honoka or better known as “The rapper Eminem is too afraid to diss” because she’s spitting out more words per minute than Twista (ok I don’t know anything about rap I googled “fastest rapper” and this is what came out). This is initially what inspired me to watch this hentai as I saw a clip of Rap God Imouto over here and I just had to watch it and for me it is pretty fucking funny but it also helps convey her timid nature and how she’s always trying to please her MC-kun. When she’s with him clearly her mind is going a mile a minute and all she can think about is to please the person she loves most in the world. These are probably two of the best voice acting performances I have ever encountered in my hentai journey. Enjoyment : 8 I thoroughly enjoyed this show, it has great characters, great animation, great art and some top notch voice acting. All that’s holding it back is that I have no idea what the hell is going on and I wish I could help but I don’t speak a lick of Japanese and couldn’t find an English version of the VN. I’ve already gushed about the voice acting but that alone should get you to watch the show as it is also genuinely quite funny with some absurd scenes like MC-kun getting a girl off using the built-in bidet while Honoka just watches. This is a pretty solid watch if you don’t mind not knowing what is going on in the overarching story but it's a wholehearted recommendation from me.

Koakuma Kanojo The Animation
(Anime)
add
Recommended
Score - 8/4
Viewer beware : Futanari included There seems to be a trend in hentai where it feels like in the middle of production they either chose to give up or forced out a new episode without any source material left. I can’t exactly tell what attributes to this all too common occurrence but it can take a great hentai and leave me with a bitter aftertaste. Koakuma Kanojo falls victim to this trend as we have one of the greatest first episodes I’ve seen in some time with great characters, great animation, funny dialogue and while the premise of “My Succubus Girlfriend Can’t be this ... Cute” has been played out many times it still is refreshing to see it executed in a way that elevates it past fap material. Yet the second episode pales in comparison to the first and while it starts off strong you slowly begin to realize that they prioritize the fucking over anything else which cheapens the whole experience. Since the first episode consists of two short stories that do not tie into the second episode, I recommend anyone considering watching Koakuma Kanojo stick to the first episode as it would be a waste of bandwidth to download/stream the second episode. Story - 7/5 The first episode of Koakuma Kanojo, as previously stated, consists of two stories - girl becomes succubus and fucks crush, girl grows a dick and fucks her sister. Both aren’t too wild however they are a bit wilder than the norm and are both themed around the “cursed DVD” trope however they don’t take themselves too seriously and just have fun with the concept i.e. the girl’s sister watching the DVD so she can revenge-fuck her sister. They are sweet, short and simple stories that quickly establish the plot, do some fuckin and leave room for gags in the lulls. Although the jokes themselves aren’t laugh out loud funny, they are still quite amusing and sets a much more chilled mood to the whole experience you know it won’t be some hardcore rape/humiliation/torture shit so you can just relax. The difference between this and the second episode is that the second episode, while starting out with poking fun at the osananajimi trope, just gets really sexual real quick(yes I am aware I’m watching a hentai) so while it may be ideal for a quick fap, it let me rather underwhelmed as a follow up to the first episode. While both episodes have fairly simple plots, the first episode played around with the concept much more which made it more interesting to watch and since each plot was allotted 10 minutes, it felt like the perfect amount of time before the novelty of the premise ran out. In the case of the second episode, taking almost 30 minutes for a half-baked concept that gets dropped almost immediately turns it into one of the most generic hentai I’ve watched in a while so I quickly got bored. Now comparing the two, it felt like the writers had better grips on the concept in the first episode and it felt like their creative taps dried out by the second episode. Art and Animation - 8.5/5 My biggest gripe with the hentai was actually the sheer drop in quality between episodes which absolutely baffled me considering they were both of the same series. The first episode, while not the best looking, had a style that suited its light-hearted and comedic attitude complimenting the jokes and dialogue very well. This style was also much more distinct and left an impression on me when I watched it, with dynamic animations, it never idled on a frame for too long. In stark comparison, the second episode looked like your bargain bin hentai that you’d pick up if you had a couple extra cents after buying that new hentai game you’d been saving up for. Visually it was extremely uninteresting and added to my growing boredom for the episode as I continued watching it, acting as a sort of red flag that this episode would definitely not be up to par with the first episode. I just felt genuine disappointment after that first episode had sparked an enthusiasm in hentai I haven’t felt for too long, the second episode comes around to stomp out that flickering flame. Characters : 7/4 As for the characters, they really are just one-offs so there isn’t a need for them to be engaging as we won’t be seeing some rapid character development in 10 minutes. For the first episode, they had such limited time with each character but they were wise enough to just get straight into things while letting the audience get to know the character contextually through the events and character interactions rather than giving us one-on-one time with the character to start. This approach gives you a sort of “thrown right into things” feeling which can be refreshing compared to shows that take a slower start to things and can appeal to the fapper on the go. While little development is given to these characters, they are loveable from the get go meaning by the time your journey has ended with them, it's just all smiles around. Meanwhile, in the second episode, they are given much more time albeit with a three character ensemble, one over the pair presented in the stories of episode one, however these characters just come off as uninspired, cookiecutter characters that just fall flat after what I had previously been treated to. Coupled with the worse animation quality and art direction, the standard hentai characters just added to the unpleasantness of the whole experience and I was ready to turn it off the moment the credits started rolling Engagement - 9/3 Engagement seems like the most apt way to differentiate the two episodes because with one I was completely engrossed in the experience while I began to feel very indifferent a quarter of the way into the second episode. Characters stood out more, the art style felt unique and vibrant and the hentai seemed to have a voice of its own during the first episode which excited me after a long break from hentai however the second episode showed me what hentai usually is like which was to my greatest disappointment. Enjoyment - 8/3 Being as objective as I can be, the second episode isn’t bad compared to the sea of hentai but it just isn’t good either so I wouldn’t bother with it. If you’re looking for something quick and fun that won’t leave you wondering what the hell you just fapped to then just watch the first episode and be done with the series. It really is a good time and personally futa is an added bonus to the whole experience and with the addition of a little incest sprinkled on top how could I resist? The second episode felt like porridge that lacked any seasoning while the first was a juicy steak with an exotic yet familiar spice rub that surprises you while never becoming tedious to eat.

Kiss Hug is a hentai containing four different scenarios packed into two 20-minute episodes, with just the right amount of bite to incite that slight phantom pain from the old wounds darker hentai has left on your morale with one of the stories being somewhat edgier than the others. Overall the hentai feels quite safe as it doesn’t take you too deep into the pool of degeneracy with many probably categorizing it as simply “vanilla”. With many visual gags and wacky scenarios in this hentai, you’ll never be bored with each scenario being about 10 minutes which is great for someone looking for a quick
...
pump-and-dump without all the emotional hang ups of a more involved hentai.
Story - 7 Kiss Hug has four different scenarios as mentioned before briefly summarized as : Saleswoman sells guy “Cockzilla D” supplements (It’s straight out of a normal porno) Girl stays over at her childhood friend’s apartment who is 10 years older and confesses to him (Yeah they do be fuckin’) Sad loner boy makes friends with two girls who fuck him then turn him into a sex slave for the entire female student body (They’re basically raping him over and over again, it gets pretty bad at one point) Childhood friend friendzones MC by using him to help her masturbate so he fucks her into submission (What an absolute Chad) These are some pretty damn vanilla storylines with the third one taking a slightly darker tone but having a happy ending anyway. They will fulfill your horny needs, albeit being quite boring, however they get the job done and there’s nothing to complain about. It’s honestly impressive how they’re able to setup the characters and scenario to an acceptable depth via implied characterization so not a moment is wasted, there’s never a lull in the pacing and it works great if you don’t give a flying fuck about the story. Art and Animation - 8 Surprisingly, the art and animation were some of the best I have seen in a while from a hentai. Usually hentai has a certain look with blurry, abstract or washed out backgrounds and character lines and details also being quite blurry so you just know its a lower quality of animation however this is much less evident in Kiss Hug where you could almost convince yourself you were watching an anime (Looking at you Redo of Healer). I really liked the character designs and they weren’t too out of proportion with great animation to boot. Visually, it was something I didn’t expect considering that the concept of the series isn’t exactly mind boggling. Characters - 6 The characters in this hentai are rather forgettable, they are cookie-cutter characters at best and in that aspect they do their job fairly well. These are instantly recognizable archetypes leaving room for the character relationships to develop and although there isn’t much depth to them, their familiarity lends itself to such a short runtime for each story. They’re just characters in a story and there isn’t much else to say. Enjoyment - 6 Kiss Hug was a pretty meh hentai for me, I had a good time but I’m definitely not looking it up to show my friends anytime soon. As vanilla goes, this is pretty much the Amazon Basics of hentai so while its not great, it doesn’t take up much of your time or energy and while the quality leaves much to be desired, it looks pretty much like a safe bet so you don’t have to go digging around through an ocean of hentai, it's just instant delivery. Would I recommend it? No. However if you just need a quick fap, it is quite convenient to have waiting on the sidelines.

Betsu ni Anta no Tame ni is a cautionary tale in nostalgia, because sometimes those hazy memories hid a much more underwhelming experience that looked much more enticing through rose-tinted glasses and the mystery of something lost to the past. I had actually watched this hentai in my early days, getting into the medium as a young lad, and as I recently became more and more involved with hentai I wished to relive the glory days through some of the first few hentai I had watched, perhaps rekindling those precious feelings to a simpler time in my life. Of the three hentai I remember watching
...
I have found two, this hentai and Itazura the Animation which I had also reviewed, with the latter living up to expectations much greater than this hentai. Betsu ni Anta no Tame ni has been my lesson that sometimes things in the past are best left in the past rather than being dragged through the mud and under a spotlight and today I’ll be breaking down a previously fondly remembered hentai.
Story - 6 So what exactly is BetsuAnta about? Well as the translation of the title “It is not like I grew up like this just for you” suggests it tells the story of a young lady of the tsundere persuasion. This young lady is at a party one night and becomes flustered upon hearing terms such as “fellatio” and “paizuri” thrown around as she is unfamiliar with any and all things sexual. Being so thrown off by what she can only assume is a massive gap in her general knowledge, she calls upon her trusty butler to assist her and obviously this leads to sexual misconduct. Straight away I was ready to slap a barely passing 5 on the story as it really is quite generic, boring and generally uninteresting. It is the age old story of a guy making fun of a tsundere and her getting understandably frustrated leading into a one-sided game of chicken where the guy eggs the girl on and on. Anyone who’s watched anime can see where this is going from the first few minutes as the tsundere trope and teasing master archetype are quite commonplace so really the only saving grace for the story is that it is taken to certain extremes which bring out an unintentional humorous quality to the two characters. I remember this premise being much more amusing but now seeing it fully, it didn’t have the same oomph that I remembered which is quite disappointing. Art and Animation - 7.5 We have to cut this hentai some slack obviously, it was released in 2011 and for the time it does quite a serviceable job with the animations not feeling lazy and our main character being appropriately designed to be as tsundere as possible. The backgrounds were also quite good and the ambience of late night sneaking around was captured well creating an environment and mood appropriate to accompany the embarrassing nature of our tsundere’s requests. Visually it satisfied me and honestly reminded me of a better time for hentai, a very much “back in my day” vibe as today’s hentai exhausts me with its subpar artistic direction that feels unfocused and at times lazy. Characters - 7 There isn’t much to work with here as we really only have one character to judge as you, the main character, are a silent teasing machine and there is no one else but Kaoru the Tsundere. So how does Kaoru do? She’s basically your boilerplate tsundere but her performance does take her to another level and makes you question the limits of your own sanity dealing with the tsundere because actually the MC of this hentai can be whoever you want it to be since this is a rare POV hentai. Kaoru stretches your limits from the cutesy tsundere to the pulling your hair out in frustration tsundere while keeping you hooked with her going along with whatever the fuck you try to pull next. Overall the unique experience of seeing your tsundere from the first person gives this overall bland experience a slight flare aided by the most tsundere thing you have ever seen. Tsundere Levels - 10 As I have used the term over and over again, yes indeed this is the most tsundere shit I have seen in a hentai. I have never seen stronger mixed signals in anything before as she relentlessly berates you as a massive pervert while also going “What’s next?” which really makes you understand how annoying this shit would be in real life. How else would you define peak tsundere if not a pink haired, twintailed, well-endowed girl saying “It is not like I grew up like this just for you” while continually fucking you, then I don’t know what is. Kaoru switches from anger to love as often as faulty lightbulb, really giving the viewer the purest condensed form of tsundere there has been in a hentai. Enjoyment - 6.5 If I had watched this hentai for the first time, I would’ve probably given it a higher score like an 8 or a 9 where I would explain that this hentai hit me with a wave of nostalgia that manifested seemingly out of thin air, reminding me of a bygone era of hentai which the new age of hentai barely stacks up to visually. However, I was actually nostalgic for this hentai and had fond memories of it until I accidentally clicked on a link while working on my Shoujo Ramune review leading me to a long, lost memory of my adolescence. Sadly, I did not enjoy this hentai as much as I wanted to since it had been built up so much in my mind recently that the reality shattered my image of it being such a great hentai. At the end of the day, when you think back upon some obscure memory in your past perhaps that’s because it belongs in the past and reliving those memories may not be as good as you remember or may drudge up some less savory details which may ruin said memories. Instead of touching those fond memories of the past, we should all look forward towards a brighter tomorrow filled with new hentai to make new memories with which we shall carry on throughout our lives and perhaps in 20 years we will all be looking back on our degeneracy with a proud smile. However, this hentai was not my proudest fap and while it had strengths such as its focused art direction and unique first-person perspective, it just did not live up to my nostalgia, so for now I'll be putting this hentai back in the box.

Shoujo Ramune
(Anime)

What in the fuck. That’s all I could think as the horny haze that had enveloped my mind began to clear. I was in utter disgust at myself and a deep shameful guilt settled within my very essence, this felt completely wrong. It took me a good 10 minutes to collect the pieces of my broken mind and haphazardly put them back together, in a state barely fit to keep my body going through the motions of the day. I wasn’t until a week had passed that I could laugh off the experience of watching Shoujo Ramune yet that deep seated guilt would always be
...
there at the peripherals of my consciousness. It had broken me unlike anything else.
Story - 7 Shoujo Ramune is a cautionary tale exploring the all too common scenario of adults taking advantage of the inherent trust children place in them to gain sexual favors. While we may all laugh off certain types such as those demonstrated in Boku no Pico or Muchi Muchi Kyousei because “they’re just hentai”, Shoujo Ramune truly captures the reality of such encounters reflected in the real-world which leaves viewers with this daunting unveiling of reality which is hard to imagine especially if you place yourself or those around you in those kind of circumstances. Shoujo Ramune cuts out the shits and giggles of a hentai and you don’t treat this as a laughable bit of fap material, it ends up sticking with you and making you contemplate the real world consequences of such actions. This type of exploitative behavior is demonstrated by our male lead Oi-chan who runs a shop frequented by our three girls. Over the course of these four episodes we see Oi-chan take advantage of each girls vulnerable states to coerce them into having sex by bending their logic or using their words against them into tricking them into thinking this is what they want. Each episode builds upon each girl’s needs and Oi-chan looking to solve that by suggesting sexual activities which in turn creates a bubble of isolation for each girl where they have no one to turn to but Oi-chan creating a cycle of dependency fostering unhealthy relationships where they can only turn to Oi-chan. While the story isn’t the most inspired, what sells it so well are the characters and their relationships which I will go into more detail later on. Art and Animation - 7 There isn’t much to say for Shoujo Ramune, it does a serviceable job visually and never put up something offensive enough to warrant a lower score. Backgrounds were vibrant and interesting, choosing a variety of backdrops to every scene from the show which kept me engaged. The character design for the girls was extremely moe, with each girl having their own visual flairs that kept them distinct from one another and there were usually certain visual gags that kept each scene leaving an impression on me. While the art started off strong, I noticed a shift in style towards the latter half of the series that was still tolerable however I found myself more attracted to the style of the earlier episodes where the character felt much more defined and detailed. Other than the artwork, the animations weren’t overly recycled and they kept it fresh with different motions and camera angles which kept skipping through a section much less frequent so overall a good job by the studio Mary Jane. Characters - 9 For me, out of everything Shoujo Ramune had to offer, it was the characters that elevated this show. If you had described what happens in the show and shown me some clips of the hentai, I would’ve thought it was an average hentai that would ultimately be a forgettable hour and 20 minutes of my life which I would quickly move on from. All the depth and the underlying message would be completely lost on me so when I actually sat down to watch it I was blown away by what was offered to me - a haunting reality check on the sexual exploitation of children. Personally, news stories don’t tend to affect me, even those recounting children being raped and exploited by close family members or members of the church. Yet Shoujo Ramune was able to get me to face those horrific acts much more seriously than anything else due to it’s characters. So what’s so great about the characters in Shoujo Ramune? They reflect reality and they make us feel that. I’ve watched my fair share of fucked hentai yet the stakes never truly mattered to me. Sure she’s getting literally raped to death or her mentality is getting torn down bit by bit until nothing of her identity is left, however it never felt quite as real as this. Three loveable girls make up the cast of Shoujo Ramune, from the outgoing Chie to the reserved Komako and the bubbly budding idol Tenka, we are greeted with a variety of characters for our main baddy Oi-chan to fuck around with. Each girl has a special relationship with Oi-chan which he abuses in order to maneuver each girl into situations for him to exploit, often using their desires to achieve this goal. With Chie, he is simply using the fact that he is a family friend (turned stepdad later on) to make her do seemingly innocent things such as “eating some yoghurt(off his dick)” or helping her cool off Baka na Imouto style. Chie then begins to normalize these sort of sexual behaviors which Oi-chan uses further down the line to engage with her again. On the other hand, Komako is more sexually aware however she is still as innocent as the other girls which allows Oi-chan to exploit her lack of knowledge as an excuse to “teach” her how to pleasure her crush Chie. By dangling her desires in front of her, Oi-chan gets another girl to fall into this normalization of sex with him while having her deepen her dependance on him as he had done with Chie. Similarly to Komako, Tenka is exploited by her limited knowledge of being an idol. Oi-chan once again exploits this gap in knowledge to trick her into doing sexual favors, chalking it all up to experience that she will apparently need to grow as an idol. She begins to depend on him and seke him out sexually thus exhibiting the third instance of this trap being utiliized. This in and of itself is quite creepy but nothing we haven’t seen before, however Oi-chan’s character changes everything because he embodies the essence of those real life child predators. Firstly, we see how calm he is about the whole thing, he’s done this before and for him there is nothing morally reprehensible in getting his rock off to the children around him. He gives off a creepy energy through this calmness where he never sees the immorality of his actions. Secondly, this cycle represents the patterns of real life child predators who do go after multiple children in a set in stone fashion by exploiting these weaknesses. However the crème de la crème which completes this perfect predator profile is his actions outside of the fucking, he goes and treats them like his beloved children. Most prominently, we see this with Tenka when he goes to support her idol activities and this was what drives Shoujo Ramune over the edge, where it became way too real. He wasn’t just close to them when they were alone, he kept up this intimate relationship thoroughly. Each episode we see each girl fall deeper and deeper into his arms, not just because of the sex but more importantly because he supported them outside of the sex which cemented him as sort of a father figure to them which turned my stomache. Mental Health Damage - 85% The only way to describe myself after watching this hentai is the Withered Wojak image Enjoyment - 1 As much as I loved how much Shoujo Ramune was able to capture this horrifying reality into a different medium and I praise it’s brilliance in bringing out the creepy in the mundane, I just did not have a good time with it on a personal level. These kinds of things happen in the real-world and people are genuinely afraid to speak up about the abuse they suffer, while others may not even realize they have been exploited by those they are close with, they respect and they perhaps even love. Shoujo Ramune is a clinical biopsy of a case of exploitation and lays it out bare in front of an audience to provide us with a solemn glimpse of what really can happen and it teaches us this genuinely occurs in real life by instilling a gut-wrenching sense of disgust.(Or it’s just a stupid hentai written by a really perverted person and I’m once again completely overanalyzing it and giving it waaaaaaaaay too much goddamn credit for being a hentai)
