Ousama Game The Animation

While these two shows are of very different genres, both shows have tons of characters getting killed off, in very over-the-top and gory ways, that fans of mindless killing will enjoy either one, or both shows. Do note that some of the later deaths in Ousama Game have some weird censorship to them, while the early Terra Formars episodes had censorship so overbearing that people made memes out of it, although there are uncensored versions of those said Terra Formars episodes, showing off the said over-the-top gore. The two shows also suffer from similar flaws, despite them having ambitious concepts to them, moreso with Ousama Game. The huge casts in both shows, results in character killing speedruns, even before you know who those characters are, and some of those characters don't even speak before they die. The lack of engagement with the characters, and the sheer high kill counts, will leave you feeling nothing with most of the death scenes. The two shows are also heavily dependent on flashbacks to explain things, with how Nobuaki survived the first Ousama Game, and the character backgrounds in Terra Formars. The flashbacks for both shows also slow down the pacing of the current time to a crawl, which can be frustrating to watch.
