Both anime have a powerful focus on romance, character development ,drama and music. Also both are fantastic watches and are a nice change of pace from the current popular shows. If you enjoyed one I hope you can give the other a shot.

You know what the anime world needs more of... fashion! There is a short supply of anime that focus on the more fabulous side of life, and even more so a female adult targeted audience(not to say these shows can't be enjoyed by everyone), both shows carry a more adult feel while still keeping their innocence and comedic sides. These shows display more mature relationship without turning to an ecchi route. While both showcasing great style and strong friendships.

A lot of anime portray the male characters as horny, sex driven idiots who can't help sneaking a peak or daydreaming about their ideal women, however not in these shows cases oh no, its the females who can't control their lewd thoughts and unbearable ideals about sex, even if they both actually haven't the slightest idea what its really like. Sex and a cute relationship are the main themes of theses shows, both tied in a nice 12 episode package, will the main heroines both get their cherries popped?

Nana and Carole & Tusday both have two similar main themes, female friendship and a love for music. Both start of with two girls meeting by chance and ending up living together in apartment, both shows have strong musical ties and people trying to make it big, and strange enough both shows use the two main characters names in their titles. The shows seem to focus both strongly on character development. They have nice character designs and kick ass music, though I'd have to note C & T's main characters are much younger so this may effect their choice, desires and the whole shows attitude towards more adult content.

These two anime get pretty dark at times and follow similar themes and character builds, to make it simple they both have the same kinda vibe, however Robins plot only really fits in round ep 15, at least it as one though ^-^
