Review based on Ousama Game manga! It's only my personal opinion.
The explanation
Ousama Game The Animation is made out of 1st and 3rd manga. I believe it is due to the fact, that it follows the main character, Nobuaki.
The 2nd manga is the first King's Game story. Chronologically it is the first one to be. However they decided to focus on further than that story.
The story
I believe the whole story's main focus is the game itself, not the characters. Even though you can't really say from only watching the first season of anime.
The story is in fact focused on Nobuaki's new class at first. Unfortunately producers
...
started putting 1st manga's throwbacks in the whole anime. It is really hard at times to tell which are memories of Nobuaki's previous class and which are present actions.
Even for me, who read 1st manga it was confusing. Due to that it was more of reminding myself the 1st manga, not feeling and enjoying the whole anime.
For people, that did not read the manga, it's a hot mess, not a story. It is because there are 2 classes Nobuaki attended. From how short the anime is and how randomly the memories of his are put in it, there is no way to understand which is the previous class and which is the present one, without paying much of attention and focusing.
It can be said to be a rip off of Mirai Nikki, but I believe Ousama game is more about survival, not the reward at the end of the game.
I also get a feeling that most of Ousama Game characters are threatened, which gives me different points of view.
The art
It is not so bad, but what is disgusting me are gore scenes. Not themselves, but how badly and cheaply done they seem.
At each death I wanted to laugh. Blood spills through all the anime and usually characters are left with only a 'cut/scar'. A bleeding that causes death is not a cut of the finger length and width.
I feel like the producers were disgusted to do more of a bloody scenes, full of guts etc. They also make it super quick (compared to how well drawn they are in manga), which shows even less suffering and pain of characters. It looks extremely unrealistic even as for anime. There are deaths in anime, that does not look as bad as these.
If you are here for gore, leave.
The brutal, painful scenes feel like nothing here.
The sound
There is nothing to it. Opening and ending are not this bad, but I think this anime is missing a lot of emotional music, that would catch my attention. There's not a song that would remind me of a certain scene, like love confession or death. It feels like the music is almost absent.
The characters
There's an overwhelming number of characters in only 12 episodes. We could categories them as previous and present class of Nobuaki, but due to how messy the stories are, even that is hard to say. Each class counts over 30 characters. Together it leaves us with over 60 characters in total. You can remember about 5-15 max, after watching the whole anime. You might even forget about the cover characters. The number of them in so little episodes leaves you without getting attached to any of them.
There's only a few of ones that get stuck in your mind. The rest is there just to play the game, play the mini roles and literally die. You can not get any of their feelings. There's just too little about them.
The enjoyment
None. Whether you are here to see the story for the first time or were waiting waiting for the realese after reading manga. It only leaves u disappointed and confused. It's way too messy. Even 12 episodes make you regret watching it after not a while from starting. It feels too short. Too disorganized. Bad.
The overall of anime
It's a waste of time. Totally unworthy going through. There's nothing to it. It's just another anime you will barely remember after adding it to your list.
The overall of anime and manga
Manga is so far better. Manga is clearer. It's nowhere confusing unlike anime. It looks more emotional. The story of each class is separately put in each manga. It does get you more into it.
The anime destroys all the potential of manga. It makes you feel like there was literally nothing. It makes you disappointed and even frustrated.
Meanwhile I cried rivers to 2nd manga, not involved in the anime.
I think it's just wasted by the limit of 12 episodes, that could make over 24. The mixed together stories. Manga felt nowhere this bad.
I know my review is long, but I wanted to point out some things, even if it meant repeating them.
Please respect my opinion and thank you for your time!

Trickster.. I found the very begining of the anime on social media. From just a minute video I was really interested in whole thing and couldnt wait to watch it.
If I would have to compare this anime to something.. I would say House MD. How can I compare these two?
Both are mostly focused on solving the cases. From time to time you get to know about characters.
Even though the anime is focused on so called Boys' Detective Club, you do not have to be interested in detectivistic anime.
I see it more as a mystery hidden behind all the characters. And I took a lot of
...
interest in getting to know them.
The main character - Kobayashi - lost his memories. He dont know who he is, where is he from.. he just knows his name and that he cant control the power he holds. He also dont know the reason why at first place he has this power.
I couldnt wait to see the next episodes. It was definitely worth watching til the very end, because sometimes some actions might be predictable, but the end is totally a surprise to me. Its far different from what I imagined it to be.
I find this anime underrated and not really apreciated enough.
Personally I wish to see more of Trickster episodes. And after episode 24 I have no idea how to feel about the whole thing. But the one things sure. I definitely enjoyed it.

One of the most well-known fairy tales from your childhood with a-.. lot of spice! Yup, that is the erotic fairy tale of "The Little Mermaid".
The very beginning of this story is the same as it was in our childhood fairy tale. Our Ariel's name is Lotte. And her prince Eric is Abel.
Lotte just got to the age when she's able to swim freely, all alone in the ocean. However, what she is interested in, is the human world. The one that's forbidden for mermaids.
As soon as she gets her head out of the water she realises there is a storm going on. Lotte sees
...
Abel and brings him over to the safer place. Of course she is amazed by Abel and treats her tail for legs with a demon that appears besides her.
In exchange of having a human legs, she needs to recieve a "human energy". Without it she's told she will die in pain. When lord Abel finds her and hears about it from the demon called J at first he don't have any interest in it. But as he thinks on about it he wants to help Lotte.
Sounds very similar, doesn't it? But as we continue reading we discover that prince Abel has an older brother! Which also seems to have feelings for Lotte.
The little mermaid steps into the world of a dirty pleasure, new feelings she could never experience before and.. plately troubles.
Do you think the story's going only around the castle of two brotheres? As well there must be the one who wants to destroy everything. But not only one someone.
Read this manga yourself if you want to know more about lewd story of manga Ariel!
Personally I loved it and recommend it especially to ecchi and drama lovers!

There's a beautiful girl, loved by everyone to the point where they are too scared to even speak to her properly. And there's a boy.. almost hated by everyone.
Kuroiwa - the main character of this manga - is found as a delinquent. The truth is he does get involved in fights sometimes, but not for the bad cause! Unfortunately because of his apperance it happens, that everyone sees him as someone dangerous.
One day there appears a strange old man, calling himself a God. He tells Kuroiwa, that from now on the shadows of death will always be all upon him.
To avoid it Kuroiwa have to
...
stay besides popular and loved high schooler girl - Yuu.
Surprisingly Yuu is not scared of Kuroiwa. As they spend time together their feelings start to bloom.

Love Death.. is kinda parted in two different stories. Which got me confused at the begining, because I couldnt say if the other volume is actually continuation of this manga.
Just after reading other reviews and recommendations I realized its one manga.
First part of Love Death tells the story of girls, that love each other so much they could kill one another..
I really enjoyed this idea and from the first page of manga I got so into it, but as I was reading on I got quiet dissapointed.
The repeating scene of fights got me bored. I hoped for something else, that would move the plot
...
on.
Second part Nikochuu was much better. The plot was slowly moving on. The love between two girls was blooming. I found second part just great.
What I truly hated about this manga is the lenght of it, but the idea of both parts was GREAT..
Still each part could be definitely MUCH LONGER. I would like to read more of it, but every single chapter was so short I couldnt get to enjoy it as much as the idea of whole manga offered.
If you dont mind the lenght of manga and you are looking for a bit of crazy love, you might like this one.
