[spoiler]Chapter 15: Kill me baby!

I opened my eyes to respond to the sunlight that is bathing my skin..
The peaceful wabling of birds and sunlit coming through the window..
Outside is a clear blue sky reminding us that morning has already arrived..
It was another beautiful spring day.

Experiencing the soft sensation a warm and fluffy bed could bring to my back is really pleasing.
Compare to the cold hard floor, this bed is like a sea of clouds.
Finally, a good night sleep after what seemed like an endless eternity.

I'm lying on a bed too huge for a single person with my arms spread wide..
Currently, both of my arms are being used as an 'arm-pillow'.
I can understand Sophia on my right side since we did slept together for 'training' .
But when I look at my left side, there's a girl who is snuggling my arm for her own convenience without even asking my permission.
Her ruffled emerald like hair that is glittering with the sunlight is just too beautiful.
When I looked further down, I see... cherries? I've seen it before I'm positive.

" Pssst! Sophia! Wake up! "

With all my strength, I tried to move my numb right hand, but it was futile.
I'm quite confident with my physical strength lately mind you but I guess once you stop the blood from properly flowing through, it will result in this senseless feeling.
My fingers are moving energetically but all Sophia replied with was: " Ehehe, it tickles.. "
Conclusion. I couldn't wake them both up.
At times like this is where one gives up and wait for the other person to open their eyes.


An hour later...

Sophia finally opened her eyes on a dazed.
A moment later, she decides to stand up and free my poor right arm who barely survived the lack of blood flow.
Her nightgown in shambles and so is her chestnut brown hair while her cheeks are slightly flushed.
She was such a lovely sight to witness that my pants are bulging on their own.

" Yo, Sophia... Good morning? "
" Ehh? Why is Reimuz.... "

What comes next is the shouting I would supposed?
But Sophia just yawned and carefully observe to assess the situation.

" What is she doing here? "
" Beats me... I haven't had the slightest idea. When I woke up, she was already using my arm as a pillow. "
" Should I wake her up? "
" Please do... "

After that, Sophia violently shrugged this girl's shoulder as if she was a jealous housewife.
Anyone would wake up by such intense shaking but this girl is still soundly asleep.
What was her name again?
Aliphesee? Alice? No, no.. Alicia...

" Pssst! Alicia.. wake up! "

Surprisingly, that's all I needed to say to wake up our sleeping beauty.
She rose up from my arm while she rubs her eyes to adjust to the brightness.
Delicate pink cherries were bathed under the sunlight.

Once her senses picked up... she stared long hard at my face..
Her fiance's murderer...
The guy who conveniently used her as a bait just so he could kill...
Go on! Let those harsh words ring out from your mouth!
Consign me! Blame me! Hate me!

But her gaze wasn't any of those...
It was compassionate and warm, enough to make my heart feel at ease...

" Hehe... I thought... I had a nightmare that Ronald left me... But it was just a dream right? "

The girl started sobbing and bawling as she tightly put her slender arms around me...
I couldn't even react...
This feeling in my chest... it was bitter..

" Hehe... Ronald.. Ronald... "

She continues to burrow her soft hair onto my chest and tickles me while she calls her lover's name...
Her lover that I killed in cold blood.
It was too painful of a view I could not say anything...

" Sigh.. I'll be waiting outside. "

Probably understanding what happened, Sophia left the room with a sigh..
My last escape route has been sealed.

" Hey, Ronald... Who was that girl? Mou..! I'll forgive you this time but if I caught you cheating one more time! You know what will happen! "

I'm not Ronald.... Shit...!
I push her face away from mine..

" Look... do you remember what happened last night? "

She acts bewildered at my question while she hold her head steady with one arm trying to recall what happened.

" Last night? Weren't we supposed to stay at the inn? I couldn't remember after that... My head is fuzzy.. But, what's important is that Ronald is still here with me, right? "

Ah.............
What is this..
I feel like throwing up..
My hands are shaking..

I've read about this before...
When a person undergoes an extreme mental shock, they will forcefully erase the memories they would want to forget.
Those lost memories are replaced by lies their thoughts wanted them to convey.
Her putrid hatred for me has resulted in this cruelty.
It is no more than a convenient escape created by her longing.

For me, this is a punishment worse than death...
To deceive this innocent girl once more just so she could lay her mind to rest...
Will doing such things absolve me from this guilt?

" Eh.. Ronald? You've been quiet for a while now? "

This is torture... In her eyes, I'm Ronald..
It would have been much better if she loathed me instead..
Whatever, what's done is done.
Still, when I look at this girl in front of me, she really has nice melons..

" Ahahaha... Alicia, I think you should wear some clothes, yeah? "

The quiet household was bothered by a loud ' IYAAA ' and I was whipped by a slap.
Since she didn't have any clothes, we ended up borrowing some from Sohpia.
Sophia's wardrobe is full of expensive apparel and the robe that she fancies has at least five sets.

While she was busy looking around, we escaped to a different room.



Sophia even had some clothes prepared for me making me wonder how and why?
How did she know my size or was it a coincidence?
Why did she already have such clothing prepared?
Oh well, it is none of my business.
For once, I guess I should not think too much about things.

I ended up wearing this black fancy looking lab coat with silver linings paired with a comfortable pants and shoes.
The shirt inside is made of finely woven silk that makes it feel refreshing even with the depressing color.
Well, it's a good clothing to hide this demonic hand...
I've decided to call it "Vengeful Claw" because of the dark gauntlet-like and sharp looking scales covering the back of my hand.
Sophia advised me to use an eyepatch for my unseeing eye but I feel like Alicia will turn hysterical if she finds out.

" Ronaaald??! What happened with your left arm!! Quick!! Doctor!! Doctor!! "

Alicia's reaction alone was enough to drive me insane after finally noticing how demonic my left hand has become.

" It's just swollen... "

Whatever excuses I've thought of flew outside of my mouth.
In the end, she decided not to inquire further, for now..


Now, the three of us are finally leaving the town of Saphir through the horse carriage that Sophia prepared beforehand.

" Reimuz... Do you really not want to say goodbye? "

Sophia ask me with a worried tone after noticing my quiet demeanor.
Though she sounds worried, her poker face remains the same.

" As I've previously said before, If I see Eryn right now... It will be impossible for me to go. "
" Well, I just wanted to confirm if this decision is final or not.. "

After confirming my resolve, we all hop inside the horse carriage.
How should I react to this sitting position...
There's plenty more space for the two of them to sit in front but both of these ladies insist to sit by my side.

" So, would you please explain who is this woman? "
" Hmm... It's Sophia. "
" Sounds like the name of a bitch.. A thieving bitch.. "
" Ahem... "

Sophia acts like she doesn't care but she looks shaken inside..
Alicia kepts on babbling rude remarks about Sophia not knowing about the truth.
As for me, I simply smiled wryly at these two girls...

" Reimuz is my lover... That's why were here in this carriage.. Because he's ask for my hand in marriage.. He will meet my parents soon. "

* Snap *
I heard a vein snap after Sophia finishes her sentences.
There was no need for me to check where it came from..
A dreadful aura is emitting from Alicia, enough to suffocate us all inside the horse carriage.

" You must be insane then! This is my Ronald and we have already vowed to marry each other in the near future.. Neh, Ronald? "

Alicia just looks at me with pleading eyes...
Though bigger ones are not my fancy, this soft sensation near my arm is like a death throe.
What am I supposed to say?
I find myself looking at Sophia to ask for help but she's also irritated..
You would think she's a lot mature but perhaps not.
On my right calls me Reimuz and on my left side calls me Ronald.
Which is both not my real name.

Come to think of it..

To gather promising allies that could help them in the future, that is the purpose of this speech.
To show their charisma and gain more followers.

But to attack a student who holds one of the top authorities in this school, nobody would have thought of such things.
While she was gallantly introducing herself in front of the whole student body, a mysterious young man suddenly leap from the audience to embrace her.
The young man is a first year, a new admittance in this school.
He put his arms around her as if she was someone he knows.
[ Eh.... Ah.... What? ]
The young man's hand is moving around suspiciously. It starts from her hips then to her butt while he pant just like a wild animal in heat in front of her ears.
[ Ah.... My Godess... It's been a long time... ]
All of the students gathered in the stadium had their jaw's drop..
Nobody would have thought such insolence thing could happen.
The young man who couldn't contain his desires, finally did the unforgivable.
As the young man embraced her tightly, he sucked the pointed tip of her ears!
In front of the whole school, the one who was cold 'ice queen' was rendered immobile.
For the first time in her life, she experienced what it meant to be submissive.
The poor girl can do nothing but to cry in a cute yelp, her faced scorching with embarrassment.
[ I'm sorry... I'm sorry for leaving you... Eryn... I'm back.... Ah... Your ears is truly the best... ]
[ Ah-- ]
A moment's notice, a spearhead imbued with magical properties came flying at the man!
It's destination, his heart! An attack that was sent to kill him!
But using the young man's curse, he easily deflected the attack that could easily shatter a small house as if it was nothing.
The spearhead was caught by the young man's demonic arm.
[ Human beast! Get away from Ojou-sama!! ]
[ Ojou-sama? This is Eryn... What are you talking abo-- ]
* Slap! *
Finally understanding the situation, the girl on his arms whip her hand across the young man's face.
The sensation of being slap brought the young man to his tears.
Because for the young man, that slap was a nostalgic feeling.

How did such things led to this disastrous ordeal?
Is this person in front of the young man really his Goddess? Or is it someone else entirely?
What exactly happened 45 days ago?

i just finished eryn 2.5 and it's more golder than the previous one hahaha

also lumy, i don't see mushoku tensei in your list, i advise you to read it it's pretty awesome though you might struggle on certain volumes like vol 3 for me

there's also arifureta in japtem though the later chapter kinda went stale and dry but the beginning is freaking awesome.
i just think the mc was ruined for being too op or cocky guy rather than being a good dark hero or evil mc, i still advised you to read it though


also how's the phone syndicate going? xD

in the end he's just a regular guy after all.
i think the most would give chase to their opponents right away but i wanted him to be more realistic
and unlike rebirth protagonist that builds their way when their a child, the thing with a protagonist his age is that he has to learn everything by himself or find someone that will help him
the only reason why i haven't explained most stuff is because it's his point of view, he wouldn't know such things if he didn't learn about them
he's like a blinded man that is slowly getting cured

well galvin isn't that bad i think xD
though you are right about some points, actually he's always been there just silently watching and looking out for eryn but i guess when those two kiss he just couldn't hold his jealousy anymore haha

there's like a 2 day gap between her and reimuz, mainly to cover what she was doing in town
and if you read the previous version, galvin is about to make an appearance soon
though if he's really such a jerk, you'll see soon
and that is something that i can't explain... yet haha
