The story is totally laid back and tries to let you see the wonders of camping, either solo (thanks to Shimarin) or in good company (thanks to the Outdoor Activities Club). It really soothes your mind and let you enjoy a cute slice of life.
The story itself even lets you know good recipes to enjoy while camping, to actually help you if you happen to decide to try it out!

This was one of my first animes ever watched.
This series tells you the story of a boy in a period where robots have the form of humans and most humans decide to start relationships with them as they are created to be exactly what you need.
He is not a weirdo neither a person with money that finds one of those robots (persocom) in the trash.
That's how it all starts and it's a love story I would really like to live as the love told in this story is beyond anything else, a pure and simple love where all that matters is to stay together forever ... and enjoy life.
No wonder it's my favorite anime of all the ones I saw until now, even though it's been 10 years since I started!

It's a slice of life with love and "computer issues" with a really loving slow pace to enjoy every bit of it, take it into account if you want to watch it

Let's start with the only reason I watched the series: the manga.
I liked the manga so much that when the announcement about this anime adaption was a miracle for me as I never thought it was that loved in Japan.
First episode: oh, they decided to skip all the initial parts and go for the big part? Uhm ok
Second episode: wait, you decided to get into the start? Why not before instead of making it a suspance lasting so many episode? Oh, well.
NO WAIT NO NOT THIS why is the main character, known for having always had white hair a blonde girl that gets her hair ... white during the use of her ESP? How are they going to explain the thing that she hides because of that after all the things that happened? Oh, easy, ignore that. Sure... uhm, there's something missing. Right. How people will understand who she is when she decides to announce herself.
The anime adaption was really lacking and I was really mad about a lot of things left unsaid and all, but still watched it to the end.

My recommendation: READ THE MANGA.

I cannot talk about this series without mentioning how many tears I shed in every single episode.
Watched it on Netflix, with a 49" TV and max. resolution because this series deserves to be seen with the highest resolution and space you can afford/have in your house.

The story is already tear jerking from the start, with a female protagonist that never had a life outside of war and killing that needs to adapt to a new world without any of that. Struggling and struggling to understand what the worlds of the only person she cared of, she decided to find it... in her own way.
A ... story about finding yourself in an unknown place and society. A real rollercoaster of emotions if you see how much she could change people while struggling to understand herself.
Something to watch absolutely, but remember to have the tissues near, for the tears!

This is explicitly shown directly in the title, so if you're not into Netorare, DON'T watch this series.
I like the fact that this series shows a different kind of "how to handle love" as not every love story is "First and Only Love" or "No Cheating Ever even when sad". Almost like Scum's Wish, this wants to open the eyes to people to not make the error of tagging everyone that cheated into the "horrible people" list as every love has a situation behind and not everyone can have a mutual love with the one they truly love, since sometimes ... a person doesn't understand their feelings and this could lead to a huge amount of possible scenarios (even the "mutual love but not going to stay together" path).

The series has a share of "domestic abuse" too, so make sure you really want to see Netorare and Violence towards a partner.

I was reluctant to start this series as the plot seemed a bit dull, but I knew Nanachi would make my heart throb (seeing her figures). I even stated "if I start this series, I'll need her figures". Yeah, a bit weird when I think about what I thought about the plot.
Fast forward a few months and suddenly the idea of watching it grasped me and, in the end, I watching it in one shot, without any pause or anything. I was totally wrapped by the Abyss and the story itself, it was different from what I liked, extremely different, but it still touched my ... heart in a way I didn't think would happen from a series.
I call this series "A travel to madness" as the plot gets darker and darker with blood and pain and a lot of crying, but it still was worth the time.
Nanachi became a waifu in a rampaging way that I'm unsure my 6 years long 1° placed waifu seems in a dire spot.

Only watching it you can know if it's in your tastes or not as it's unconventional and different.
Bought both the first volume of the manga released in my country and the map attached to it, now I'm waiting my first Nanachi figure and the Abyss will totally capture me
