Personally, I do like slice of life anime, and I do think this anime was cute.
However, since it's clearly just promotion for a mobile game westerners can't play, I can't be sure if I can recommend it to people.

I'm pretty sure this anime is based on life before the plot of the game starts.
Since all of the anime is just the daily life of these magical girls, going to class, playing games, and eating snacks.
It's very clear, that life outside of their comfy school life is not good, but are they going to talk about that? No, no they aren't,
you have to play the ... game for that.

The art, animation, and music was all very nice in my opinion.
But plot? There isn't really one, just cute girls doing cute things.

So maybe just watch this for something to do to waste time.

I think this would have been a cute series, if not for the main guy.
So this will mostly be a rant about him XD

In my opinion, I feel like this is more of an obsession then a romance.
And he's not really the nicest guy around, since it seems what he wants
in a girl is who fits his chubby fetish and is also easy.

Throughout what I've read he just seems to push his ideals and has to realize
that he's wrong, be it pushing his girlfriend to be even bigger or
telling people other people they will never be happy in their body if they ... can't
like their body the way it is.

He also just always seems like he's depressed or in a bad mood, and it's not for me.
All of the other characters are very cute, so if you can look past that or like a male mc
like that then I guess you might like it.
