im glad you liked it lance :). You should try to keep watching fairy tail too :D, that is just as awesome as hunter x hunter :). Also has a slightly bad start (at least action scene wise).

Also can you trust me since I was right with hunter x hunter? Try Hajime no Ippo, its a series that you will think you will hate but it will turn out to be one of the best animes you will ever seen. I put off watching it for like 2 years cause I thought it would be crap since its about boxing; I was pleasently surprised that I was wrong :D.

I know more than that but I reckon those two will keep you going until you need more :).

Its a shame but hunter x hunter (2011) is a bit of a let down so far. (its just a remake of the old one but its just not as good)

For Boogiepop, the concept became clear(er) the more I watched. Kind of like Serial Experiments Lain. But again, I only had a vague understanding and needed the supplemental material to understand it. One day I plan on getting it, but... later....

Glad to know Hunter x Hunter is going well. Are you watching the orignal series or the remake?

I'm glad Gankutsuou and FMP! are good, because I happen to own both. Just haven't watched them yet.

Boogiepop was okay, but to really understand what was happening you kind of need the supplemental material, which I didn't have on me. I didn't find a whole lot of it shocking or disturbing- something I look for in anime that are generally considered horror. Strongest Disciple just wasn't my cup of tea- I don't really care for straight-up fighting anime where the goal is to get stronger and defeat X number of enemies to be Number One. My brother really enjoys it, though, so this is entirely personal preference.

I've been debating on watching or reading Black Cat. I might just do both, since it's considered an above-average series.

I like dark and twisted, so I should be fine watching Black Lagoon. I'm over 18 so no one's really gonna care! ^.^

I think Hunter x Hunter will go on my to-read list.

Glad to hear the comments about the rest. Those will go up in priority since I've heard similar things about them from other people.

Yeah, I got a MAL account a while! ago! It's definitely the easiest to keep track of what I'm watching/reading (I'd never be able to do it otherwise!!!).

warning tho :D, it starts off slightly slow... doesnt proper kick off until episode 6 onwards. That said, you will see an improvement each episode until your eventually hooked :D

try hunter x hunter, you will be pleasently surprised.

watch this one not the new one; so far the old one is much better....
