While in a writing mood I might as well give this one a go as well.

Watched the series a short while ago and what can I say:
It’s pretty good. For the first part…

The series has a thrilling plot going on… in the begging. It’s interesting, you feel for protagonist (since anyone can get in similar position for no reason what so ever), the atmosphere, which starts off with the series, suits the theme and you start craving to watch one episode after another.

Mo Dao Zu Shi (Anime) add
Just finished the series in a big run and I need to get this off my chest. The series is THAT good! G.CMay, please, make more anime this cool, I don’t care how many Cornetto’s you’ll be showing in my face (you’ll get it if you’re not an abridged fanboy)!

Anyway, the review.

If you're tired of the common japanese style anime, take a look at what guys at G.CMay are doing. Visuals are gorgeous, characters are gorgeous, sound is beautifull, the atmosphere is ... good. Yeah. The story actually works out great in showing how not getting sht done, getting sht done and pushing waaay to hard to ...

Unfortunately, that once you completely realize that the protagonist is a Sue, which happens by about 6th episode, you sadly keep watching because the world and story surrounding the protagonist is quite decent.
It’s interesting most of the time to watch how world works, skipping through a ton of pretentious dialogs and fights of the protagonist.
It even gives a slight feel that the world might be living outside of the protagonist line of sight!

But alas, ...
