If you're already deadset on not watching, then don't bother. But if you're putting it off because it looks like lolicon-bait, then that was me.
The story, characters, and slice-of-life style was pretty refreshing along with the ADORABLE artstyle. There are some wholesome familial moments between the two main characters and every interaction, despite the situation, feels natural and realistic.
Of course some things you might find weird, but a lot of these events are things I relate to, as a girl. (eg. first period, getting used to the 'feminine' way). I also find the identity issues of finding your role in life relatable too, as I

always fear I'll end up like a NEET. This story gives comfort knowing that, there is always pathways available, and you'll never die as a failure.
Some may say it's lolicon-bait, and depending on how you see it, it may be. But I, as someone who's fond of lolis and shotas but hate the sexualisation of them, I just see it as a story about growth out off a NEET lifestyle and growth between two siblings.
Maybe it's because I just don't see some scenes as but, if the stigma of the show being lolicon keeps going, no one will get to experience the sweetness of this show.
