Ao no Flag

On the most basic level, both comics are about teenagers dealing with relationships, understanding their own sexuality and that of their peers and dealing with homophobia from society and the people around them. The main differences are that Ao no Flag focuses more on the development of relationships between the protagonists while Shimanami Tasogare is a lot more introspective. I would say that Shimanami Tasogare also has much broader LGBTQ representation and just a more diverse cast in general, while Ao no Flag is almost purely focused on high school students. Despite some differences in content, both share a similar pacing and tone. Ao no Flag has a slightly more comedic vibe, but they share overall themes of identity, gender, sexuality, romance, love and friendship. If you enjoyed reading one of these comics, you would probably enjoy the other.

They're both funny and dumb but also sweet and cute BL gag manga. If you enjoyed laughing at one, you'd probably have the same experience with the other.

Sarazanmai
add

Both series focus on a trio of youths who have found themselves in inexplicable, otherworldly challenges that they have to overcome while utilizing the power of friendship. The shows have similar styles and relatively lighthearted tones to them. The biggest difference is that there is a lot more focus on buttholes in Sarazanmai as compared to Tsuritama.

Kimi no Na wa.
add

Both Kimi no Na wa and Koe no Katachi are romantic films featuring young people who are on the cusp of adulthood. They are both emotionally moving with beautiful artwork and animation. Koe no Katachi doesn't have the same supernatural element that comes with Kimi no Na wa, but it has a similar impact. However, while Koe no Katachi is appropriate for adolescent viewers, it does deal with some severe bullying and darker themes that are absent in Kimi no Na wa, so if that is something that is difficult for you, you may want to avoid this film.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
add

Although GSNK has a stronger shoujo/romance feel than Nichijou, it is definitely more focused on comedy than actual romance. I wouldn't put it on the same level as Nichijou in regards to "randomness" but it has the same sort of "wtf?!" sense of humor without being crude or crass. It is a fun, somewhat simple anime. If Nichjou made you laugh, I would highly recommend GSNK.

Main characters have a similar demeanor and there is the same theme of what is justice? The conflict between Lelouch and Suzaku is very similar to the conflict between Light and L.
