Story: 8/10

It's a thriller and I guess for the number of chapters, it has, it does it pretty well. The story starts of simple but progressively gets more and more complex and intricate. My only flaw with it is the pacing, which at times can get really fast.

Art: 8.5/10

Well, objectively speaking it's not the best but it does the job. The art style fits the theme really well and the manga is able to express the mood and feelings of the settiing and characters perfectly well. The multiple faces of Ayana is enough of a testament to this.

Character: 7/10

This is the manga's weak ... point, I just think there's not enough "flesh" given to us to care about most of the characters. Ayana is probably the only one with enough "flesh" for us to care about but even she's lacking...especially for a main character. Maybe if they focused more on the bullying instead of jumping right to its climax would we be able to care more aboout tthe characters.

Enjoyment: 10/10

Well it may be a bit dumb but never the less it's enjoyable. It got me hooked and got me reading again, so yep, I find it very enjoyable. I might be a bit biased cos' I do like these kind of themes but I cannot deny the fact that this is the manga that II've enjoyed the most.

Overall: 9:10

This is one that you read for pure enjoyment, don't try to look to deep into it, you'll just end up disatisfied.

Story:7/10
Slice of life so there's not much going but the events that are presented and occur throughout the manga are quite good in terms of quality. One thing that annoyed me the most was the way the romance was handled, it dragged out superbly long and the payoff was disappointing.

Art: 10/10
The character design in this manga is something I love, it's simple yet detailed.

Character: 7/10
The main cast somewhat memorable, I won't be forgetting the main characters soon and they're not copies of popular tropes. My ... only gripe is that Fujimoto's side of the story isn't as fleshed out as I'd like, we get nothing much outside basketball.

Enjoyment:8/10
I binged the whole thing and didn't get bored even once so yeah. Minus points for the frustration the romance gave me but maybe that was what keep me reading so intently but it was not enjoyable to experience

Would be a 10/10 if the romance was handled better and Fujimoto was more fleshed out, it would certainly benefit from more chapters.

A journey; a trek; a voyage, that's how watching Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 feels like.
You know an anime is good, REALLY good, when 26 episodes completed in 4 days feels like 26 episodes completed in a year. This anime just drags you in.
Now let's get to the review!

Story:10
The story of Uchuu Senkan Yamato is a simple one: A story of trials for salvation, just like those legends of the ancients. Though simple, it's executed well and remains entertaining throughout. There are no annoying sub-plots that detract the story, everything that happens is related to the main premise that is to reach Iscandar, which is great ... and makes it epic.

Art:8
The art is matches well and is good, that's all. It remains consistent; no quirks or anything. and he art is attractive and conventional; not too flashy nor shabby which is great as it fits the more adult oriented nature of the series.

Sound:9
This score is mostly because of the main theme. UCHUUUUUUU SENKAAN YAAMAAAAAAATOOOOOOOOO. Instrumental or not I loved it. The voice acting was great too, and lively, many characters spoke uniquely such as Sado,Katou and Kodai Mamoru. The sound effects were fine too, nothing too unrealistic or crude.

Character:9
There were interesting characters from all the sides(Terron,Gamillian.Iscandarian,Zaltzi etc.) and none of them felt empty, you will give a damn about most of them. The only thing I didn't like and the reason I deducted one point was the lack of romance , I mean romance obviously played a part in the plot but there was not much of it. We get to see the outcome of the romance but not much of the buildup nor the transition.

Why would you watch a series that you cannot enjoy? As said earlier, Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 is a journey and it's a very entertaining one. Dull moments are few and are quickly forgotten. I highly recommend this anime, like you should watch it now, like right now, what are you waiting for? Go!

Amagi Brilliant Park, KyoAni's next masterpiece or not?
Amagi Brilliant Park, is an anime about the revival of a park by Kanie Seiya(Kanye West) and the people of Amaburi.

Story
The story started of well enough, with Kanie-kun being given the responsibility of saving Amaburi, it was good enough to keep you hooked, but 3 episodes in...the plot seemed to have disappeared, it was more like a slice of life anime though the last 3 episodes were plot heavy which saved the story from a 5/10 rating.

Art
It's KyoAni, what do you expect!? Excellent animation and character designs, ... I love how goofy some scenes where,like when Macaron was putting the pill inside Sento's bento. Also even the background characters had faces. The only thing I didn't like was Kanie's character design. Excellent art and animation made me give it a 9/10, though there's nothing unique about it.

Sound
The voice acting was great, I liked Sento and Tiramie's voice actors, I think there's no problem with the voice acting in this anime,the only thing lacking was the bgm, it was forgettable and the only OST I remembered in this anime was the OP which was decent. So unmemorable bgm and OP but great voice acting made me give it a 7/10 rating.

Character
This anime was clearly character driven, most of them were fairly decent though other than the main cast, the side characters were also good and were fun to watch, especially the elves or the three human girls. Though the lack of a clear antagonist and backstory, were disappointing, Kirisu Rakku rarely had screen time and never actually felt like an antagonist while only bits and pieces were explained from each of the main character's backstory excluding Latifah, I was satisfied with her backstory. So I give it a 8/10.

Enjoyment
This was a very enjoyable anime indeed, it made me laugh many times and kept me hooked for a considerable time, though I guess it was a bit too short, the pacing was also a bit too quick which made me lose a bit of interest but nevertheless this is a very fun anime to watch. 9/10

Overall
Great character's, decent plot,fantastic art,enjoyable episodes,good voice acting and lack of a clear antagonist,backstory and fast pacing made me give this anime a 8.5. I am eager for a second season of this.
