Both Honey and Clover and Tanaka-kun are lighthearted, on the edge of melancholic, relaxed and showcase some of the small and rare beautiful things in life that are normally overlooked. They both are about the everyday problems and thoughts of students. More than specifically this or that, it has a certain vibe, and I think one who enjoys Honey and Clover might enjoy this, without trying to compare them. I think the other way around would also apply.
