Hello World,
At this point, I'm wondering what could have brought you to my page. Whatever brought you here, I feel there are a few things you should know:
- I honestly can't remember the last time I watched anime. I still love anime, but I found out long ago that I greatly prefer to read manga. Maybe that will change one day, but for the foreseeable future, I'm all manga.
- I like to rate each title purely based on my own enjoyment. I honestly don't care how "good" a title is or how good anyone else thinks it is. I could even go through a title noticing poor qualities or glaring mistakes and not care. I give out 10's to those titles that I find myself not being able to stop reading.
- It is very rare that I rate below a 5. This is usually because I only rate those titles that I have read a significant amount of. If I start something and don't really get very far in due to a lack of enjoyment, I'm not going to go so far as to pass judgement on the work as a whole. If I get far enough into a series to consider it dropped, then I usually like it enough to get that far and it's at least average in my book.
- I like exhaustively long series. Almost to the point where it becomes the longer, the better. I love being able to explore an entirely new world created by the author and seeing what happens in that world. One of my life goals is to have an entire book shelf or two filled with manga and some entire shelves devoted to a single series.
