Man this was truly a masterpiece, this is not just a simple show it's filled with logic, ideals, wishes, hypothesis, emotions, trials, sacrifices, everything it is pretty much the perfect show.
Based on the synopsis it is a magical girl show although it is not only that. It is much more complex and yet much more practical. It shows a lot of sacrifices that are unavoidable resulting in a much more rewarding development. It is the pinnacle of drama making us despair when episode 3 came.
The setup is very well planned. The first three episodes setting us up for the coming worse makes us,
...
the audience feel the characters emotions as if we are the characters themselves, full of regrets, having lots of ideals, and being afraid of the unavoidable death.
This is why I'm a big fan of the show, it touches its audiences hearts and will not hold back with it, there are definitely times that it would crush it. making us feel kokoro itai.
The pacing of the show is really good too, there are no fillers. Every second of an episode has a purpose, there are always something happening in that period. It doesn't force itself to reach the end fast too, they will give information to the viewer one by one resulting for the viewer to not be overwhelmed and to not feel lacking.
To the topic of building and supporting the theme and setting of the show lets take account its art. Although released in 2011 this show surpasses most late shows in animation alone. It is animated by studio SHAFT which is by the way also the ones who animated exeptional works like Sangatsu no Lion and the whole Monogatari series. Supporting its theme, the art has probably the most surreal and dark designs I've ever seen in a while. It is true horror in anime that pure horror series' cant even begin to accomplish.
The characters are not bland, they are full of flavor. They are dramatically savory, salty sweet, cheerfully spicy, and depressingly delicious. Their experiences have left them real development. Even the supporting Characters are incredibly "supportive".
Surprisingly I don't have much to say about the show or more like I feel like I still can't put it into words. I may come back to this series in the future rewatching it as a nostalgic piece.
This is only recommended to people who can handle really heavy plot, a surreal setting, disturbing instances, and emotional bursts. Heck I may have burst my tears right now but i haven't really got the hang of "crying". Nonetheless if you can't handle everything above then it's better that you leave this series be. Come back to the future when you're ready.

To be blunt, the anime is made for the people who played the game. It is what they wished azur lane should be. Just a slice of life without any threats of war with the sirens, just peace within the factions.
Me, who has been playing the game for a long time who also just quit recently made me want to play the game again. Made me realize that it's all about the waifus and all. Although the game is pretty heavy now my phone can't even handle it so that's a consideration for another day.
For other viewers who have never played the game,
...
this may be appealing to them for other reasons such as the heavy fanservice that is put into this show. but uhh sexualizing uhh lolis may be questionable.
Other things I will mention is the lack of explanation on the different factions, heck they didn't even mention the names of the factions themselves showing that the playerbase are truly the ones who can understand the show. There are 4 main factions in the show, the IJN, USS, KMS, and HMS. Laffey, Javelin, Nimi, and Ayanami are all from different factions being USS, HMS, KMS, IJN in their respective order.
Its really similar to gochuumon wo usagi desu ka, a show that also features lots of kids. I can see how people will enjoy the show but I don't think I've enjoyed this one very much although I do feel a little bit nostalgic because it represents the game.

Jaku Chara Tomozaki-kun
The concept of the show is focused upon character development, it is a show that is aware of that and is built upon the topic. It starts up with a guy that most highschool loners can probably relate to. And starts his development by introducing us to a character that we wish we would also knew in our lives.
I honestly expected this show to be a ultra standard highschool harem anime again but no. The show is intriguing, it is able to sympathize the audience with the characters and feel emotions with the characters. In the first few episodes and lesser throughout
...
the series there are a lot of cringy and awkward scenes. This is to say that the main character has no development at all and will sooner start trying to do so.
It also had the potential to be the anime featured on a waifu wars for winter 2021, although due to the female characters having pretty dull personalities and base designs compared to other shows (particularly mushoku tensei) it didn't. Not saying they are extremely dull but compared to shows right now, it just failed. It may have been built for realism, but building an anime based on realism is really hard and does have big drawbacks.
Now to the question, Is the show good or nah?
Honestly the show gets its execution pretty spot on. It takes the audience into consideration and thus is built to do so. I was more intrigued for the show more than I enjoyed it. I would definitely say that Tomozaki-kun himself would be bottom-tier but the show itself would be put high mid-tier on my list.
I would recommend this to viewers who wants to find something intriguing but not particularly scientific. something that would touch realism. And it should be appealing to male audiences.

So honest opinions, I kinda enjoyed the show. Did I enjoy it too much? No.
It has an incredibly cliche concept. Guy who gets kind of overpowered abilities, gets more powerful through sexual arousal, anything dungeon related is supposed to become rpg related too, and of course the harem.
Yet I enjoyed it, why? Because I'm a degenerate. I don't like harem shows in particular although this one hits different. The MC isn't a dunce, He's aware that everybody loves him romantically so he takes advantage of that. The Harem is particularly unique too, it's pretty unusual to see the girls of the harem sharing
...
the MC. I would like to give props to the jiggle physics in this show too, Apparently the melons are too lightweight to just have small movement make them jiggle like crazy.
For the plot, the first episodes were done well. The characters were introduced in a way that it won't make you overwhelmed. Moving on you might've just noticed something, there's no particular direction for the plot. Everything are just more or less filler events, some may introduce new characters but some unnecessary to the main objective. Although If there's a second season of the show, then it should just be made up of the plot taking a now direct course.
So is the show good?
Short Answer No, Long answer watch it for yourself. Its kinda weird saying that for a review but sometimes a show just finds its audience. Taking into account Enjoyment, it may appeal a minority of an audience. I didn't have much to say here and honestly I can describe it on a few sentences.
P.S.
Olivia looks like FFNF Champagne from azur lane which is one of my favorite characters from the game

tl:dr best series in winter 2021, possibly best isekai, i would love to see more of it animated.
Man this series pretty much revolutionized the isekai genre.
Unsurprisingly is one of the most if not the most watched out show throughout this winter 2021. It is well unsurprising because of the long-running novels of the series and is even one of the most popular novels of the isekai genre. It has made several achievements like inventing the whole truck accident to another world cliche and it even popularized the whole isekai genre itself in the light novel industry.
It literally breaks off most isekai cliches
...
even though it started running pretty early before the genre started to become relevant. It starts off with a true representation of a underground degenerate literally fapping to anime girls in his messed up room not caring about anything. Later in the episode, the show presents us with the first truck isekai death (not to be confused with other deaths by truck-kun on non-isekai anime) He is now suddenly transported in the isekai world.
Now I will try to explain my thought as much as possible with lesser spoilers going through the series. It has a really good sense of presenting practicality in its form. Our main guy is not your typical isekai mc. He did not start off strong or crazy overpowered but heck he started off as the weakest form of a human being. Fast forward to the middle part of the series, He is blocked by a lot of hurdles the biggest one is His needs of income. This is just a really good representation of practicality
Now going through the end of the series, Rudeus (The main character) is feeling really smooth right now, everything is going fine and dandy until he is now presented with the fear and danger of death. It shows how the series' character development is really visible making the viewers wanting to see more of the troubles that Rudeus will overcome. Many unexpected things have happened in the series and I would like to see more.
The animation of the show is god tier, It is the most stunningly animated show in winter 2021 in my opinion. Studio Bind really dumped us with a true banger of a creation, making us intense in scenes that we are supposed to be feeling intense and other kinds of emotions has Studio Bind really achieved in presenting us a really good visual representation of.
The character development is something that I really love to touch on every series I review since it's a very under talked about part of a show. As such I really have much to say about this show's character development as is. They have presented the characters many hurdles and obstacles, many absurd and intense moments that will have a large effect on the characters development Resulting in the story having a true progression route. It also doesn't touch on the plot armor stage where a character just haves a sudden surge of power. It just goes to show that the series is really one that many will have to watch out for its further developments.
Overall the show is fantastic, it has revolutionized the isekai genre itself and it shows how the isekai genre is supposed to be treated. The series is going to clutch and bring the whole genre with itself in its highest glory. I would really love to see more from the series.
Recommended only for viewers who can watch heavy shows that touch on plenty traumatic instances and violent scenes, it also has a pretty heavy plot so be aware.

Tatoeba last dungeon
Yeah first thing you've noticed about the show is its unecessarily long title, the editors may have confused the title box with the synopsis box.
Now going through the show these are the things I've noticed; it has a really bad control of atmosphere, the emotions presented are all over the place with some scenes suddenly becoming comedic during an intense scene or vice versa. The comedy is not exactly wack but it always corporates the loud=funny vibe, I have no problems with that if its used correctly but in this show its used really often that 70% of the show's comedy is
...
mostly composed of shouting and raging. other things are its weak plot and cliche setting.
Moving on to the show's progression. The show's intro is super messed up, too many names and characters are introduced not making time for making the audience keep up on familiarizing the show's characters names. And it really feels like the show is being played on fast-forward. The pacing feels really fast in episode 3 we're already in one of the most intense moment in the show. It may be still considered as introductory for the main antagonists but it just feels really fast in my opinion.
On the middle phase of the series we are introduced in a hotel arc which in my opinion is the best arc in the show. Not only it has the most fun moments it also had the least predictable events. Hot spring episode is also poggers.
Now through the last episodes on the show we are presented with pretty much what we have predicted by now. But what we really didnt predict was the main he- antagonist's goal is.
The characters are memorable design wise but not name wise just because of the ruined intro, after watching the show I have forgotten most of the characters except the most mentioned ones. I don't have much to say about character progression since it has almost none.
Animation and visual presentation wise the character designs are pretty. The animation is fairly mediocre, its not the best but its not bad either. The show surprisingly corporates its mediocre animation well since they use it to enhance its comedic moments.
Conclusion, the show is unsurprisingly surprisingly enjoying to watch, although it has a cliche setting and all that shabby sounding stuff. It still has its fair share of fun moments. I've enjoyed the show but it feels like its just short term enjoyment. I would only recommend watching the show if you're finding something to warm-up upon before watching another one.

Love is not only about being naked physically but also being naked mentally, fully. Exposing your true selves, not trying to hide anything. That's what true love is.
Horimiya follows the story of Kyoko Hori, a popular cute girl in school but has a housewife-like manner in the house. And Izumi Miyamura, a gloomy loner in schol but actually has tats, piercings, and a delinquent like figure outside. As they become a couple themselves, it also follows stories from their circle of friends.
It is not your stereotypical love comedy as it features just really sweet and kind lovestory. No black belt tsunderes who can
...
kick you hard or abnormally big badonkers for girls. It hits realism in a sense, which in result makes it possible to relate to the show or sympathize with characters or even feel envious.
The comedy is top tier stuff not focusing on just violent comedy but the show just knows how to amplify scenes and insert the comedy in the right time and in the right place. While dramatic scenes just get dramatic emotions. unlike anime like nisekoi where the comedy is just out-of-place and the scene isn't supposed to call for one its just there and it makes a scene confusing.
The art is also nice, animated by the studio Cloverworks which also animated the likes of Darling in the Franxx and Wonder Egg Priority. Art plays a big role in anime since any visual scene may have a large effect on how you see a scene and how much emotion does it have.
So is it good or no?
Good isn't the word I'll say with this show but Amazing. The show is really good so far, and it's just getting better and better further. It really explains why the manga of the same series is one of the most popular romance manga if not the most popular.

If you want to explore shows which feature profanity, violence, and gore then this might be the right show to pick when starting out!
Kemono Jihen is one of those shows that are really well put out, the storyboard pacing is really well thought out, and the themes are pretty well balanced. It boasts its great story structure by executing the introduction greatly and after that its just filling up puzzle pieces but in a thought out pace, not very fast but not absurdly slow either.
The main theme of the show is its violent mystery theme but it balances out its cheerful and humorous
...
vibe so right it just fits. While the mystery part is well done to be not very predictable and cliché. Its art and animation is not too shabby, you can almost never get a weird/awkward screenshot from this show.
The characteristics of its characters are well done too. the main character Kabana is very practical unlike most shonen heroes who are all about friendship. Well it might be cliché because of the usual trio squad, there's no female in the party (but well if you consider that one character feminine then go ahead). The Antagonists also have good practical goals unlike some shows who just have to-destroy-the-world antagonists.
Overall the anime is great, there is almost no bad thing i can say about the show, in my eyes it's a jack of all trades but a master of none. I think people should check the show out, there's not much clichés here and it's a worth watch.

Sk8 the infinity
If you feel like watching some good and awesome sports anime which mostly does not involve any violence, Then this show is for you.
Introducing the new all(most) men sports anime, featuring as the title states "skateboards". It is an anime original show meaning it does not have a pre animated source material (e.g manga, light novels), its really weird to find an anime getting a manga adaptation too since sk8 is already ongoing with its manga adaptation. The show is portrayed in a dirty, illegal, rebellious, and punk environment but actually has a surprisingly hilarious and jolly vibe. It is set on Okinawa
...
prefecture which is on the southern portion of Japan, you can think of the place as Hawaii but on Japan.
To the point then, so why is this show good?.
Its pretty similar to banana fish (which i also recommend watching btw) since it is set on an environment where crime is usually present. The show features really sick animated scenes accompanied with its really passionate characters plus the characters have also unique personalities, unique figures, and unique hair color so girls you now have many to choose from. Men can also enjoy the show as the passionate characters may even inspire boys/men to try skateboarding or maybe having a 6 pack like that green haired italian chef!.
It does feel cliché sometimes, the characters feel like you've seen them in several various shounen anime before. The villain is also pretty weakly presented, its just masquerade dio with a really punk jonathan hair who wants to own the world (of skateboarding atleast) and wants to entertain himself with kids.
It comes down to enjoyment though as you can feel intense on scenes where the characters are in a pinch or sympathy on some characters. Plus its amazingly good animation is one that truly you can enjoy adding in the great background music the show has to offer to enhance their scenes.

Wonder egg priority
Makes you wonder, what are the meaning of the eggs presented on the show? how did they become one or how did what's inside was even placed inside? And will the statues truly revive when say you "complete" the mission? The questions presented are basically what's put on your mind in the introduction and stays throughout the series as the characters progress.
It is a clump, collection, cluster, crowd of emotions put into one show. It tells not just how this party saves the people from the eggs but why do they save them. The story is not basic, not one-way. It has
...
multiple directions leading to various circumstances given to individuals to give us a puzzle piece of the mysteries of the egg. They not only give us the "main character only storyline" treatment but everybody in the show definitely has some worthwile backstory to them and it also helps the viewer figure out what, when, where, how, and why are the happenings have even occured in the first place.
The concept is really nice and what's really good about this show is its execution of that said concept. First of all the art is really stunning, it shows a pretty good ambience THAT is actually compatible with the show's overall setting. The use of real life imagery to incorporate a more emotional setting and atmosphere are done well. Most monsters are made out of CG thus making it better than if it's 2d since they have very complex designs. Next is when they execute scenes they really milk it to it's highest potential. They do this well by setting up intense atmosphere, the background music, and the visual representation.
The show explains the concept really good too as they almost just speak to us with actions, they make you think about what and why and then realize you now have a grasp on its concept.
overall it is a very good watch, it offers an amazing compilation of emotions, there is a lot of things going on that my brain can finally find some use than just comprehending some random harem isekai/fantasy bleh. And I am enjoying it as far as the series is running.
